The global populationhas beenandwill continue to be severely impacted by theCOVID-19 *** primary objective of this research is to demonstrate the future impact of COVID-19 on those who suffer from other fatal conditions such as cancer,heart disease,and ***,using ordinary differential equations(ODEs),two mathematical models are developed to explain the association between COVID-19 and cancer and between COVID-19 and diabetes and heart *** that,we highlight the stability assessments that can be applied to these *** analysis is used to examine how changes in certain factors impact different aspects of *** sensitivity analysis showed that many people are still nervous about seeing a doctor due to COVID-19,which could result in a dramatic increase in the diagnosis of various ailments in the years to *** correlation between diabetes and cardiovascular illness is also illustrated *** effects of smoking and obesity are also found to be significant in disease *** fitting is also provided for interpreting the relationship between real data and the results of *** people,in particular,need tomonitor their health conditions closely and practice heart health *** with heart diseases should undergo regular checks so that they can protect themselves from diabetes and take some precautions including suitable *** main purpose of this study is to emphasize the importance of regular checks,to warn people about the effects of COVID-19(including avoiding healthcare centers and doctors because of the spread of infectious diseases)and to indicate the importance of family history of cancer,heart diseases and *** provision of the recommendations requires an increase in public consciousness.

Computational modeling and inhibition of SARS-COV-2 Papain-like protease enzyme:A potential therapeutic approach for COVID-19

This study aims to investigate the potential impact of inhibitors targeting the papain-like protease(PLpro)of SARS-CoV-2 on viral replication and the host immune response.A mathematical model was developed to simulate the interaction among susceptible cells,infected cells,PLpro,and immune cells,incorporating data on PLpro *** numerical simulations using MATLAB,the model parameters were estimated based on available statistical *** results indicate that strategically positioned inhibitors could impede the virus’s access to host cellular machinery,thereby enhancing the immune response and gradually reducing susceptible and infected cells over *** dynamics of the viral enzyme PLpro showed reduced activity with the introduction of the inhibitor,leading to a decline in viral ***,the immune cell population exhibited functional recovery as the inhibitor suppressed PLpro *** findings suggest that inhibitors targeting PLpro may serve as therapeutic interventions against SARS-CoV-2 by inhibiting viral replication and bolstering the immune response.

Reducing the Range of Cancer Risk on BI-RADS 4 Subcategories via Mathematical Modelling

Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System,also known as BI-RADS is a universal system used by radiologists and *** constructs a comprehensive language for the diagnosis of breast ***-RADS 4 category has a wide range of cancer risk since it is divided into 3 *** play an important role in the diagnosis and treatment of *** this study,data of 42 BI-RADS 4 patients taken fromthe Center for Breast Health,Near East University Hospital is *** the analysis,a mathematical model is constructed by dividing the population into 4 *** analysis is applied to the parameters with the desired outcome of a reduced range of cancer *** simulations of the parameters are *** results of the model have revealed that an increase in the lactation rate and earlymenopause have a negative correlation with the chance of being diagnosed with BI-RADS 4 whereas a positive correlation increase in age,the palpable mass,and family history is ***,the negative effects of smoking and late menopause on BI-RADS 4C diagnosis are vehemently ***,the model showed that the percentages of parameters play an important role in the diagnosis of BI-RADS 4 *** things considered,with the assistance of the most effective parameters,the range of cancer risks in BI-RADS 4 subcategories will decrease.

A Binomial Model Approach: Comparing the R0 Values of SARS-CoV-2 rRT-PCR Data from Laboratories across Northern Cyprus

Northern Cyprus has implemented relatively strict measures in the battle against the outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The measures were introduced at the beginning of the COVID-19pandemic, in order to prevent the spread of the disease. One of these measures was the use of two separate realtime reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (rRT-PCR) tests for SARS-CoV-2 referred to as the doublescreening procedure, which was adopted following the re-opening of the sea, air and land borders for passengersafter the first lockdown. The rRT-PCR double screening procedure involved reporting a negative rRT-PCR testwhich was carried in 72 to 120 h before departure whilst presenting no known symptoms of the COVID-19and performing a second rRT-PCR test at the point of arrival. This study compares the results of SARS-CoV-2rRT-PCR tests performed on incoming flight passengers from the 1st July to 9th of September 2020 to NorthernCyprus. The rRT-PCR test results collected by the Near East University (NEU) DESAM COVID-19 laboratory werecompared with the rRT-PCR test results collected by the Ministry of Health and/or private COVID-19 laboratoriesin Northern Cyprus. This comparative study was conducted using binomial distribution. In addition, by applyingthe Susceptible-Exposed-Infected-Removed (SEIR) model to Northern Cyprus, overall basic reproduction number(R0) value of the COVID-19 was analysed for the same time period to act as a threshold for this *** both the statistical and SEIR mathematical model, R0 was calculated. It was assumed that, the more similarthe R0 results of NEU DESAM COVID-19 laboratory and other laboratories were with the overall R0 value ofNorthern Cyprus, the more reliable the results would be. We calculated that the median R0 values of the NEUDESAM COVID-19 laboratory and other laboratories performing the SARS-CoV-2 rRT-PCR on air passengersduring the studied period to be 0.96 and 1.29, respectively, com

Schistosomiasis is a parasitic disease from the family of Schistosomatidae and genus Schistosoma,which is caused by blood *** disease is endemic in many countries and still a serious threat to global public health and *** this paper,a new deterministic model is designed and analyzed qualitatively to explore the dynamics of schistosomiasis transmission in human,cattle and snail *** from our mathematical analysis show that the model has a disease-free equilibrium(DFE)which is locally asymptotically stable(LAS)whenever a particular epidemiological threshold quantity,also known as basic reproduction number(R0)is less than *** analysis shows that the model has a unique endemic equilibrium(EE)which is globally asymptotically stable whenever R0>1 and unstable when R0<***,we adopt partial rank correlation coefficient for sensitivity analysis to reveal the most important parameters for effective control and mitigation of schistosomiasis disease in a ***,we obtain some numerical results by simulating the entire dynamics of the model,which show that the infections in the compartments of each population decrease with respect to *** further indicates that avoiding contact with infected human,cattle or infested water is vital to prevent the spread of schistosomiasis disease infection.
