Pr.duction of copper.powder. by the potentiostatic electr.lysis under.differ.nt hydr.gen evolution conditions was investigated. Copper.powder. wer. char.cter.zed by the scanning electr.n micr.scope(SEM),X-r.y diffr.ction(Xr.),par.icle size distr.bution(PSD), and by the deter.ination of the specific sur.ace ar.a(SSA) of the for.ed powder.. Depending on quantity of hydr.gen gener.ted dur.ng electr.lysis, the two types of par.icles wer. for.ed: dendr.tes and cauliflower.like par.icles. The dendr.tes wer. for.ed without, while cauliflower.like par.icles with the quantity of evolved hydr.gen enough to achieve str.ng effect on hydr.dynamic conditions in the near.electr.de layer. Although macr. str.ctur. of the par.icles was ver. differ.nt, they showed similar.micr. str.ctur.. Namely, both types of the par.icles consisted of smalal agglomer.tes of appr.ximately spher.cal Cu gr.ins at the micr. level. The existence of the spher.cal mor.hology was just r.sponsible for.r.ndom or.entation of Cu cr.stallites in both types of par.icles. The SSA of cauliflower.like par.icles was mor. than two times lar.er.than that of the dendr.tes, while their.size was consider.bly smaller.than that of the dendr.tic par.icles. In this way, the useful benefit of Cu powder.for.ation in the conditions of vigor.us hydr.gen evolution is shown.

Silver.dendr.tic nanonstr.ctur.s obtained by the potentiostatic electr.lysis fr.m differ.nt electr.lytes at differ.nt over.otentials wer. char.cter.zed by the scanning electr.n micr.scopy(SEM)technique and X-r.y diffr.ction analysis of the pr.duced *** needle-like and fer.-like dendr.tes wer. for.ed fr.m the nitr.te electr.lyte at over.otentials inside and outside plateaus of the limiting diffusion cur.ent density,*** thr.e-dimensional pine-like dendr.tes constr.cted fr.m appr.ximately spher.cal gr.ins wer. for.ed fr.m the ammonium electr.lyte at over.otentials both inside and outside plateaus of the limiting diffusion cur.ent *** mor.hology of silver.dendr.tes was cor.elated with their.cr.stal str.ctur. at the semi quantiative *** change of cr.stal or.entation fr.m the str.ng(111)pr.fer.ed or.entation for.the needle-like dendr.tes to almost r.ndomly or.entied spher.cal gr.ins in the pine-like dendr.tes obtained at the over.otential outside the plateau of the limiting diffusion cur.ent density was *** tr.nd in change of cr.stal or.entation and mor.hology of Ag nanostr.ctur.s was accompanied by consider.ble incr.ase of the specific sur.ace ar.a(SSA)of the pr.duced *** aver.ge cr.stallite sizes wer. in the r.nge of 38-50 nm,pr.ving nanostr.ctur.l char.cter.of the for.ed Ag par.icles.
