The polyphenol content,antioxidant and antimicrobial activities of the extracts obtained by classical, ultrasonic and Soxhlet extractions from dry aerial parts of two Artemisia species(Artemisia vulgaris and Artemisia campestris)were *** positively affected the yield of extractive substance and the kinetics of extraction,but the extract obtained by the classical extraction showed the highest antioxidant activities and contained higher total contents of phenolic compounds and flavonoids than the extracts obtained by two other extraction *** flavonoid aglycones(apigenin,quercetin,quercetin 3,3′-dimethyl ether)and flavonoid glycosides(rutin,hyperoside and kaempferol 3-rhamnoside)were identified by thin layer chromatograph(TLC)analysis in the extracts from both *** extracts were richer in quercetin than *** and its antimicrobial activity was also better than *** obtained from both species were found to be more effective on the tested yeasts than *** kinetics of the total extractive substances,such as phenolic,flavonoids and quercetin extraction,was successfully described by the model of unsteady-state diffusion.

Cavernous hemangiomatosis of the colon and liver in a 38-year-old woman presenting with a history of cramp like abdominal pain and a mass in the right iliac fossa are presented. Abdominal ultrasonography and computed tomography demonstrated multiple liver hemangiomas as well as a noncystic lesion in the right iliac fossa. Operative findings were suggestive of diffuse hemangiomatosis of the right colon and an extensive right hemicolectomy was performed. A review of the literature is presented, considering current diagnostic and therapeutic methods.

Bandung, adopted a policy to build Waste to Energy （WTE） systems with a combustion capacity of 500 tons/day. WTE technologies will burn waste that is fed and utilized energy generated to be converted into electrical energy. This technology has the potential to reduce the volume of waste more effectively, but WTE also emit various harmful contaminants, including Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans （PCDF） and Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxins （PCDDs）. WTE equipped with air pollution control, so that the emission of harmful contaminants can be controlled and detected continuously. This study only discusses contaminants PCDF and PCDDs, and the effect of air pollution control work against public health risks. In this study, the efficiency of air pollution control is assumed at 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 90% and 99%, while the public health risk assessment carried out for the projected 15 years into the future. Public health risk assessment carried out by the calculation of the health risk of carcinogenic （liver cancer）. A causal relationship between the independent variable efficiency of air pollution control with one dependent variable number of liver cancer patients, obtained the simple linear regression equation Y = 76.4592 - 0.7692X.

现代汉语副词“还”的语用频率很高,其语法意义非常丰富,也非常复杂。是对外汉语教学中的一个重难点。汉语副词“还”在印尼语中的对应词是"masih",它们之间有同有异。而印尼学生往往只知其同,难辨其异,因此,印尼留学生在学习和使用“还”的过程当中就经常出现偏误。为了探究汉语副词“还”与印尼语中的"masih"的异同之处,本文拟从句式、语义、语用这三个方面对汉语副词“还”与印尼语"masih"进行对比分析,通过对比来揭示其异同。希望对印尼留学生学习汉语副词“还”有所帮助。本文共分为五个部分,第一章为绪论部分,综述目前汉语副词“还”和印尼语"masih"的既有研究成果,并说明本文的选题缘由、研究对象、研究方法以及语料来源。第二章是对现代汉语副词“还”字句的句式以及“还”的语义、语用功能进行梳理与描写。第三章是对印尼语"masih"所在句子的句式以及语义、语用功能进行梳理与描写。第四章是对汉语副词“还”与印尼语"masih"所在句子的句式以及“还”、"masih"的语义、语用功能进行对比,并归纳其异同。第五章对全文进行总结,并指出本文未来的研究方向和不足之处。

Perinatal Outcome and Frequency of Congenital Malformations in Pregnancy Complicated with Diabetes Type 1 and Type 2

Objectives: The objectives of this study were to evaluate and compare perinatal outcomes and frequency of congenital malformations in pregnancy that are complicated with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Study Design: This prospective study included 557 pregnant women with type 1 diabetes and 149 pregnant women with type 2 diabetes that gave birth in the Clinic for Diabetes in Pregnancy in Zagreb, from January 2000 to December 2012. Results: Women with type 2 diabetes were significantly older than women with type 1 diabetes (p < 0.003;32.8 ± 5.5 versus 29.3 ± 3.2) and they have significantly higher BMI compared to type 1 diabetes (P < 0.001;29.2 ± 6.5 versus 23.5 ± 3.8). Comparing their delivery patterns, women with type 1 diabetes were significantly more likely to give birth by caesarean section than women with type 2 diabetes (p < 0.001;466 versus 82). The offspring of women with type 1 diabetes were more likely to be delivered preterm in comparison with offspring of women with type 2 diabetes (109 versus 31). Macrosomia is recognized characteristic of pregnancies complicated by diabetes and its incidence was significantly higher in women with type 1 diabetes compared to women with type 2 diabetes (p < 0.035;174 versus 38). Neonatal malformations were higher in women with type 1 vs. type 2 diabetes (12 versus 7), but not statistically significant. Glycosylated haemoglobin (HbA1c) levels were statistically significantly higher in the first trimester (8.02% v. 6.72%), second (7.55% versus 6.27%) and third trimester (7.40% versus 6.03%) in women with type 1 and type 2 diabetes that gave birth to neonates with congenital malformations. Perinatal mortality was higher in pregnant women with type 1 diabetes than in women with type 2 diabetes (4 versus 2) but not statistically significant. Conclusion: Comparing perinatal mortality and frequency of congenital malformations in women with type 1 and type 2 diabetes, we didn’t find any important statistical differences. There is no

Hallux valgus is a complex deformity of the forefoot. It is the result of multiple effects of endogenous and exogenous etiological factors with different degrees of influence. The degree of hallux valgus deformity was assessed by radiological values of hallux valgus (HVA) and intermetatarsal (IMA) angle. Thus, each hallux valgus deformity corresponds to a pair (HVA, IMA) of hallux valgus angle (HVA) and intermetatarsal angle (IMA) values in the plane of the deformity. The intensity of the point position vector S (HVA, IMA) in the deformation plane determined by the relation represents the absolute (conjugate) value of the power deformities. The goal of the article is to explain the advantage of the definition of the degree of hallux valgus deformity using its absolute (conjugate) value, and then to show that the degree of deformity defined in this way enables a better classification of deformities for all values of the HVA and IMA angles. Furthermore, in this article, applying the definition of conjugate deformity, analytical expressions were constructed for the assessment of the average value of deformity correction after operative treatment, as well as the error assessment of deformity correction after operative treatment. All obtained results were checked on a sample of 396 operatively treated feet.

The aim of this research work was to evaluate the potential of using renewable natural feedstock,i.e.,Jatropha curcas oil(JCO)for the synthesis of non-isocyanate polyurethane(NIPU)resin for wood composite *** polyurethane(PU)is synthesized through a polycondensation reaction between isocyanate and ***,utilizing toxic and unsustainable isocyanates for obtaining PU could contribute to negative impacts on the environment and human ***,the development of PU from eco-friendly and sustainable resources without the isocyanate route is *** this work,tetra-n-butyl ammonium bromide was used as the activator to open the epoxy ring with 3-Aminopropyltriethoxisylane as a catalyst to yield urethane of JCO(UJCO).The UJCO were characterized by Fourier Transform Infra-Red spectroscopy(FTIR)and their oxirane,and hydroxyl values were *** result showed that a decrease in oxirane value was found while the hydroxyl value was increased during the time,confirming that the urethane group was *** presence of functional groups in FTIR spectra at wave numbers 1732.08,1562.34,and 3348.42 cm^(−1) indicates the functional groups of C=O(urethane carbonyl),–NH,and–OH,respectively confirmed this *** potential applications of NIPU in the wood composite were also outlined.
