New advances in the area of deciphering the mechanism for a possible modification of the biological effects of radiation exposure at the genetic level make it possible to distinguish the group of radiation protective agents having their own specific features in the implementation of their beneficial effects. The mechanism of the radioprotective action of bioflavonoids is worthy of a detailed analysis in view of their great biological importance. Radiobiological studies show that antioxidants can reduce the radiation damage to membranes and favor more adequate energy dependent adaptive and reparative processes after the exposure to radiation. Bioflavonoids are significant component of “biological protection” for a enhance of resistance of the body to environmental factors that are adverse for human health, including ionizing radiation, with reducing the risk of carcinogenic effects and decreasing the biological age. The best practical value of bioflavonoids, can be considered as the agents for prophylaxis against the development of oxidative stress. These are the reasons why the administration of natural antioxidants have a pathogenetic justification for exposures to chronic (months, years) low-rate-dose ionizing radiation. These agents were previously and are currently being developed for use during long-term, low-ratedose exposures to radiation, under conditions of long space missions. Acting as low-dose stressors through a hormetic mechanism and a “substrate” support of adaptive shifts radiomodulators results in an increase in the antioxidant defense of the body and the rearrangement of its functioning in the new environment with the modulation of gene expression of antioxidant response elements by activation of Nrd2/KeapI and Sirtuin/FoxO pathways and a decrease in the transcription factor NF-κB.

Two new regularization algorithms for solving the first-kind Volterra integral equation, which describes the pressure-rate deconvolution problem in well test data interpretation, are developed in this paper. The main features of the problem are the strong nonuniform scale of the solution and large errors (up to 15%) in the input data. In both algorithms, the solution is represented as decomposition on special basic functions, which satisfy given a priori information on solution, and this idea allow us significantly to improve the quality of approximate solution and simplify solving the minimization problem. The theoretical details of the algorithms, as well as the results of numerical experiments for proving robustness of the algorithms, are presented.

考察内生网络环境下局中人之间的局部策略互动,网络中的局中人只与直接邻居进行协同对策.网络生成的过程中,建立连接的费用是异质的(具有两种水平),与采取有效行动的局中人建立连接时执行高水平费用,与采取风险占优行动的局中人建立连接时执行低水平费用.在异质连接费用的情形下,首次较为完整地给出了均衡网络的结构特性和局中人的行动选择,并分析了费用参数对均衡结果的影响.

The effect of age hardening on the microstructure,martensitic transformation behavior,and shape memory properties of the(Ni_(50)Ti_(30)Hf_(20))_(95)V_(5)alloy was investigated by scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction,differential scanning calorimetry,microhardness,and bending *** results demonstrate a significant influence of V addition on the microstructure of the alloy.V addition leads to the formation of a(Ni,V)_(2)(Ti,Hf)-type Laves phase,which coexists with B19'martensite at room *** at 550℃results in precipitation hardening due to the formation of nano-scale orthorhombic H-phase,with the peak hardness observed after 3 h of *** alloy at peak hardness state exhibits higher transformation strain and lower unrecovered strain compared to the solution-treated *** aged sample achieves a maximum transformation strain of 1.56%under 500 MPa.

A method for determining the value of the strain rate sensitivity parameter m, of a thin sheet superplastic material, which is based on the results of constant gas pressure tests, has been developed in this paper. Unlike the conventional procedures the method involved provides the test conditions similar to those occurring during an industrial technological process. Such an approach enables one to estimate reliable the superplas- tic properties of the material under study. Theoretical analysis is based upon use of the standard equations of the membrane theory. The experimental investigations have been carried out for Ti-based alloy VT6 (Ti--6Al-4V). Theoretical predictions show satisfactory agreement with experimental data. The results obtained are compared with those measured by means of standard procedures (constant cross-head velocity experiments and load relaxation tests). It is shown that the use of specimens having reduced gage length (which is less than specimen's width) could lead to considerable errors in experimental estimation of the m value which, in its turn, leads to inaccurate calculating the technological parameters.

The project MAGPIan, funded by the European Commission under the program LIFE＋2008, aims to develop and implement an optimal strategy for integral groundwater investigation and efficient remediation of key sources of pollution for the whole inner city area. The first investigations included descriptions of the complex hydro-geological system of the eight aquifers, drilling of monitoring wells and set up of the conceptual contaminant model. A conceptual contaminant model was developed to describe the status quo of the present contaminant distribution, as well as the basic processes controlling contaminant migration within the observed aquifers. This included the characterization of redox conditions and natural chlorinated hydrocarbons degradation processes, as well as age dating, forensic interpretations with respect to the contaminant origin, and determination of radioactive and stable isotopes. Further on, a numerical unsteady groundwater flow and contaminant transport model were developed, which enabled a quantitative description of the mass balance within the project area. The unsteady numerical model provided detection of migration paths in the valley of Stuttgart and identification of key sources of pollution.
