目的评估光学相干断层成像技术（OCT）在诊断烧伤创面深度方面的应用价值.方法应用自制的小鼠蒸气烫伤装置,制作Skh-1小鼠深Ⅱ度烫伤模型,分别于伤后3 h、3 d和8 d以OCT扫描创面行动态检测,同步采集创面组织行组织病理学检查;同时扫描小鼠正常部位皮肤并行组织病理学检查. 结果蒸气烫伤小鼠皮肤真皮胶原降解,与其正常部位皮肤相比,在OCT扫描检测中表现为双折射光信号的丢失或减弱,其变化强度与创面病变过程相关,且与组织病理学切片结果一致. 结论 OCT作为无创的创面检测技术,可用于烧伤创面动态检测.

Zn-Mg-Al-CO3 layered double hydroxides (LdHs) have been synthesized by a new method involving separate nucleation and aging steps. The Zn-Mg-Al-CO3 LdHs were characterized by XRd, FT-IR, ICP and TG-dTA. The limiting oxygen index and smoke density of composites of the LdHs with eva-28 were determined. Incorporation of Zn2+ in the layers of the LdHs was found promoting mate- rial charring and smoke suppression. The mechanism of flame retardation and smoke suppression is discussed. The results show that Zn-Mg-Al-CO3 LdHs have better flame retarding and smoke suppressing effects than Mg-Al-CO3 LdHs.

There is a rapidly growing demand to use silicon and silicon nitride（Si3N4） integrated photonics for sensing applications, ranging from refractive index to spectroscopic sensing. By making use of advanced CMOS technology,complex miniaturized circuits can be easily realized on a large scale and at a low cost covering visible to mid-IR wavelengths. In this paper we present our recent work on the development of silicon and Si3N4-based photonic integrated circuits for various spectroscopic sensing applications. We report our findings on waveguide-based absorption, and Raman and surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy. Finally we report on-chip spectrometers and on-chip broadband light sources covering very near-IR to mid-IR wavelengths to realize fully integrated spectroscopic systems on a chip.

Background:Thymidine analogs,namely AZT(Zidovudine or Retrovir^(TM))and d4T(Stavudine or Zerit^(TM))are antiretroviral drugs still employed in over 75%of first line combination antiretroviral therapy(cART)in Kampala,Uganda despite aversion to prescribing these drugs for cART in high income countries due in part to adverse *** this study,we explored how the continued use of these thymidine analogs in cART could impact emergence of drug resistance and impact on future treatment success in Uganda,a low-income ***:We examined the drug resistance genotypes by Sanger sequencing of 262 HIV-infected patients failing a first line combined antiretroviral treatment containing either AZT or d4T,which represents approximately 5%of the patients at the Joint Clinical Research Center receiving a AZT or d4T containing *** generation sequencing(dEEPGEN^(TM)HIV)and multiplex oligonucleotide ligation assays(AfriPOLA)were then performed on a subset of patient samples to detect low frequency drug resistant ***4 cell counts,viral RNA loads,and treatment changes were analyzed in a cohort of treatment success and ***:Over 80%of patients failing first line AZT/d4T-containing cART had predicted drug resistance to 3TC(Lamivudine)and non-nucleoside RT inhibitors(NNRTIs)in the treatment regimen but only 45%had resistance AZT/d4T associated resistance mutations(TAMs).TAMs were however detected at low frequency within the patients HIV quasispecies(1-20%)in 21 of 34 individuals who were failing first-line AZT-containing cART and lacked TAMs by *** to lack of TAMs by Sanger,AZT was typically maintained in second-line therapies and these patients had a low frequency of subsequent virologic ***:Our findings suggest that continued use of AZT and d4T in first-line treatment in low-to-middle income countries may lead to misdiagnosis of HIV-1 drug resistance and possibly enhance a succession of second-and third-line treatment failu

Understanding the degradation behavior of azo dyes in photocatalytic wastewater treatment is of fundamental and practical importance for their application in textile-processing and other coloration industries. In this study, quantum chemistry, as density functional theory, was used to elucidate different degradation pathways of azo pyridone dyes in a hydroxyl radical(HO ·)-initiated photocatalytic system. A series of substituted azo pyridone dyes were synthesized by changing the substituent group in the para position of the benzene moiety, ranging from strong electron-donating to strong electron-withdrawing groups. The effect of dye molecular structure on the photocatalytic degradation reaction mechanism was analyzed and quantification of substituent effects on the thermodynamic and kinetics parameters was performed. Potential energy surface analysis revealed the most susceptible reaction site for the HO ·attack. The calculated reaction barriers are found to be strongly affected by the nature of substituent group with a good correlation using Hammett σp constants and experimentally determined reaction rates. The stability of pre-reaction complexes and transition state complexes were analyzed applying the distortion-interaction model. The increased stability of the transition state complexes with the distancing from the substituent group has been established.
