Central bank digital currency,loan supply,and bank failure risk:a microeconomic approach

Central bank digital currencies(CBDCs),which.are legal tenders in digital form,are expected to reduce currency issuance and circulation costs and broaden the scope of monetary *** addition,these currencies may also reduce consumers’need for conventional demand deposits,which.in turn,increases banks’loan provision costs because deposits require higher rates of *** use a microeconomic banking model to investigate the effects of introducing an economy-wide,account-type CBDC on a bank’s loan supply and its failure *** that a CBDC is expected to lower the cost of liquidity circulation and become a strong substitute for demand deposits,both the loan supply and the bank failure risk *** increases are countered by subsequent increases in the rates of return on term deposits and loans,which.in turn,reduce the loan supply and thus bank failure *** offsetting forces lead to no significant ch.nge in banking,as long as the rate of return on loans is below a certain ***,once the rate is above the threshold,bank failure risk increases,thereby undermining banking *** problem is more pronounced when the degree of pass-through of funding costs to the loan rate is high and the profitability of a successful project is *** results imply that central banks wishing to introduce an economy-wide,account-type CBDC should first monitor yields on bank loans and consider policy measures that induce banks to maintain adequate liquidity reserve levels.

A Study on the Constraints and the Solutions in Silver Sport Industry

This paper introduces a new non-statistical STAP algorithm which.is efficient and powerful in non-homogeneous environment. The traditional statistical algorithms using the estimated interference covariance are not optimal in heterogeneous clutter. The non-statistical approach.which.uses primary data only and is appropriate to extremely heterogeneous case is presented. The Transformed Data Domain （TDD） algorithm which.is more simple and efficient compared to the original Direct Data Domain （D3） algorithm is proposed. The received space-time signal is transformed to beam-doppler domain and weight to minimize interferences is obtained in this space. The performance of the proposed non-statistical STAP is tested in SIRV clutter model environment and compared to that of the approach.which.employs traditional statistical algorithm.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the constraints that the workers in silver sport industry experience and the solutions. In this study, six workers in silver sport industry participating in the elderly job fair held in Ilsan in 2016 were selected as subjects and interviewed in depth. The sports equipment that the six subjects exhibited and their sales and PR （Public Relations） behaviors during the fair were observed, and they were interviewed about the current status of the sports goods industry, constraints as workers, and solutions to resolve the constraints. A senior sports goods developer analyzed sports goods development and PR process through a case study. The result of this study is as follows. The constraints of silver sport industry environment are constraints on investment and lack of research.and development, legal and institutional constraints, and economic constraints. The constraints of the silver sport goods industrial field are anxiety for the production of unproven high-cost goods, constraints on unstable institutions, and constraints from the difficulties in collaboration. The solutions of such.problems are as follows. First, it is needed to resolve the high production cost. Second, it is need to resolve the difficulties in delivery. Third, it is needed to resolve the difficulties in communication in the development stage

Terrestrial plants have two to four times more ATP-binding cassette （ABC） transporter genes than other organisms, including their ancestral microalgae. Recent studies found that plants harboring mutations in these transporters exhibit dramatic phenotypes, many of which.are related to developmental processes and functions necessary for life on dry land. These results suggest that ABC transporters multiplied during evolution and assumed novel functions that allowed plants to adapt to terrestrial environmental conditions. Examining the literature on plant ABC transporters from this viewpoint led us to propose that diverse ABC transporters enabled many unique and essential aspects of a terrestrial plant＇s lifestyle, by transporting various compounds across specific membranes of the plant.

Assessing the Intensity of Dog Walking and Impact on Overall Physical Activity: A Pilot Study Using Accelerometry

Introduction: Despite a growing body of research.indicating that dog walking contributes to meeting physical activity (PA) guidelines, this literature is limited by the use of self-report measures of dog walking and overall PA. The objectives of this pilot study were to objectively assess dog walking with accelerometry, ch.racterize the frequency, duration, and intensity of dog walking, and determine the contribution of dog walking to overall moderate-vigorous physical activity (MVPA). Methods: Sixty-five dog owners wore an Actigraph GT3X accelerometer for up to 7 consecutive days and recorded start/end times for dog walks with daily log sheets. Each.minute with an activity count ≥ 760 was classified as MVPA. Descriptive statistics were used to summarize all variables. Logistic regression was used to examine associations between dog walking MVPA bouts and meeting PA guidelines, controlling for age, education, income, and gender. Results: Participants walked their dog an average of 1.2 ± 1.1 times/day, averaged 28.0 ± 15.6 minutes/walk, and accumulated 22.9 ± 17.5 minutes of MVPA/day during dog walks, of which.21.7 ± 17.9 minutes were accumulated in bouts ≥10 minutes. Seventy-eight percent of dog walking was classified as moderate-intensity and 3.5% was vigorous. Dog walking MVPA had a statistically significant positive association with meeting PA guidelines (OR = 2.32;95% CI = 1.06, 5.08). Conclusions: The majority of dog walking minutes were moderate-intensity and most minutes of MVPA during dog walking occurred in bouts. These findings suggest that dog walking is consistent with current PA guidelines for adults and should receive more consideration as a PA promotion strategy.

There are many approach.s to discovering significant pathways in expression profiling. Our objective is to develop a robust approach.to capturing differentially expressed pathways in disease expression profiling using pathways that have a transcription factor（TF）. After collecting TF target gene, the TF target gene activity information in pathway and the pathway activity information are calculated using a t test. The p values from two analyses are integrated by the ch.-square inverse method. We evaluated our method using two cancer microarray data sets and comparing our results with those from two other pathway analysis methods. Our approach.finds differentially expressed pathways that are directly associated with essential thrombocythemia, as well as general pathways that reflect cancer type-nonspecific traits and cancer type-specific pathways in breast cancer data. To test the robustness of our approach. we analyzed two lung data sets. Our approach.also provides consistent and biologically reliable results. This study shows that it is better to find significant pathways in expression profiling where the TF target information is integrated within the pathway activity information. Our proposed approach.is robust, and can also find cancer type-specific differentially expressed pathways.

The antitumor capabilities of agonistic anti-4-1BB mAbs have made them an attractive target for tumor ***,the adverse side effects associated with agonist antibodies have hindered their clinical ***,we aimed to study the immune-related adverse events of repeated doses and long-term use of agonistic anti-4-1BB *** show that ch.onic activation of 4-1BB signals induced the accumulation of IFN-γ-producing PD-1^(+)CD8^(+)T cells in the secondary lymphoid organs of tumor-bearing mice by increasing the number of dividing CD8^(+)T cells,which.was beneficial for suppressing tumor growth in the early phase of anti-4-1BB ***,repeated exposure to anti-4-1BB mAbs led to granuloma development in tumor-draining lymph nodes(TDLNs)of mice due to recruitment and accumulation of macrophages via the CD8^(+)T cell-IFN-γ*** was accompanied by excessive lymph node swelling,which.impaired the sequential activation of CD8^(+)T *** data provide insights into the immune-related adverse events of long-term agonist 4-1BB antibody dosing,which.should be considered during the clinical development of immunomodulating therapy.

随着市场全球化加速发展的今天,企业之间的竞争进一步深化,一国市场的消费者需要面对各个国家进口的产品,中国是韩国最大的贸易出口国,每年中国消费者购买大量的韩国产品,中国消费者选择韩国产品与韩国在中国消费者心中的形象有着密切的关系。因此本研究,将韩国影视产品作为调节变量,研究韩国国家形象和中国消费者购买韩国产品意图之间的关系,研究方法以文献分析、问卷调查相结合。本研究收集了300名之前收看过韩国影视产品的中国人的调查数据,之后利用SPSS对方法进行了分析。受访者中,中国中女性相较于中国男性收看韩国影视产品的人数更多,中青年群体是目前观看韩国影视产品的主要群体,目前收看韩国影视产品的中国人,大部分收入处于中低水平。研究结果表明:一、国家形象在对消费者品牌态度和消费者购买意愿方面全都具有正向的影响,即对国家形象的评价越高,消费者对品牌的态度也就越好,消费者的购买意愿也就越高;二、韩国影视产品态度对消费者品牌态度的影响上具有调节作用不完全成立,韩国影视产品态度在韩国国民形象对消费者品牌态度的影响上具有调节作用,但影视产品态度在韩国国家政治经济形象和产品形象对消费者品牌态度上就不具有调节作用;三、消费者品牌态度对韩国产品购买意愿具有现有显著正向影响;四、国家形象、国家政治经济形象、国民形象、产品形象和购买意愿之间存在显著正向影响。
