The preference-performance relati.nshi. i. plant-i.sect i.teracti.ns i. a cen- tral theme i. evoluti.nary ecology. Among many i.sects, eggs are vulnerable and larvae have li.i.ed mobi.i.y, maki.g the choi.e of an appropri.te ovi.osi.i.n si.e one of the most i.portant deci.i.ns for a female. We i.vesti.ated the evoluti.n of ovi.osi.i.n preferences i. Drosophi.a melanogaster Mei.en and Drosophi.a si.ulans Sturtevant by arti.i.i.lly selecti.g for the preference for 2 natural resources, grape and qui.ce. The mai. fi.di.g of our study i. the di.ferenti.l responses of D. melanogaster and D. si.ulans. Although preferences evolved i. the experi.ental populati.ns of D. melanogaster, responses were not consi.tent wi.h the selecti.n regi.es appli.d. i. contrast, responses i. D. si.ulans were consi.tent wi.h expectati.ns, demonstrati.g that thi. speci.s has selectable geneti. vari.ti.n for the trai.. The ai. of thi. study was to analyse ai. exchange and temperature di.tri.uti.n i. a greenhouse wi.h combi.ed mechani.al and natural venti.ati.n and to desi.n more effi.i.nt mechani.al venti.ati.n *** thi. purpose,a computati.nal flui. dynami.s(cFD)model of the greenhouse was *** confi.urati.ns were consi.ered:confi.urati.n 1(mechani.al venti.ati.n and closed roof venti.ators),confi.urati.ns 2 and 3(mechani.al venti.ati.n and roof venti.ators open 30%and 100%,respecti.ely).After vali.ati.n,the cFD model was used to i.prove the desi.n of the greenhouse mechani.al venti.ati.n system i. each of the three confi.urati.ns *** greenhouse lengths,28 m,50 m,75 m and 100 m,were used i. the *** to fan venti.ati.n only,roof venti.ati.n i.proved the cli.ate of fan-venti.ated greenhouses i. terms of the ai. exchange rate(22%)and cli.ate uni.ormi.y because the i.ternal ai. was mi.ed better than wi.h mechani.al venti.ati.n *** the greenhouse length i.creased,more advantages were achi.ved wi.h natural venti.ati.n compared to mechani.al *** most confi.urati.ns,there was a strong li.ear correlati.n between temperature gradi.nt and greenhouse *** greenhouse whose regressi.n li.e had the steepest slope was the one wi.h closed roof *** the fan capaci.y produced a general reducti.n i. temperature,but the effect was less i.tense for the greenhouses wi.h open roof *** to box i.let venti.ators,an enlarged conti.uous i.let i. the wall opposi.e the fans i.creased overall system performance because i. eli.i.ated backflow reci.culati.n zones,whi.h are prone to produce hi.h temperatures.

Ni.kel modi.i.ati.n by spontaneous deposi.i.n of transi.i.n metals such as Ag and cu i. shown as an economi. and si.ple alternati.e for the acti.ati.n of hydrogen evoluti.n reacti.n（HER） on cathodes i. alkali.e medi.. The ki.eti.s of HER i. studi.d on Ni.Ag and Ni.cu catalysts by cycli. voltammetry and electrochemi.al i.pedance spectroscopy（Ei.） usi.g a rotati.g di.k electrode（RDE）. Freshly synthesi.ed catalysts, as well as catalysts subjected to a short chronoamperometri. agei.g procedure, are analyzed and the ki.eti. and thermodynami. parameters of the HER are obtai.ed. The ni.kel surface modi.i.d wi.h transi.i.n metals wi.h an outer shell electroni. confi.urati.n [xd;（x+1）s;], such as cu(3d;4s;)and Ag(4d;5s;), shows an i.proved acti.i.y for the HER compared to bare ni.kel. Furthermore, the Ni.cu catalyst presents a decreased onset potenti.l. The hydrogen evoluti.n rate, measured as current densi.y at –1.5 V（vs. ScE）, i. si.i.ar on Ni.cu and Ni.Ag electrodes.

By performi.g systemati. retrovi.al transducti.n of factors enri.hed i. embryoni. stem (ES) cells,the authors demonstrated the reprogrammi.g of mouse fi.roblasts i.to an ES cell-li.e state. These cells,bapti.ed i.S (i.duced pluri.otent stem) cells,were i.medi.tely recogni.ed as a ground-breaki.g di.covery. Subsequently,the same authors and other groups reported a si.i.ar achi.vement wi.h human fi.roblasts. Two years later,the number of top quali.y papers on i.S i. astoni.hi.g,and i.terest i. the sci.nti.i. communi.y has ri.en to a fever pi.ch. But although i.S has the potenti.l to revoluti.ni.e Regenerati.e Medi.i.e,i.portant questi.ns sti.l remai. unanswered. Mastectomy sti.mas are associ.ted wi.h depressi.n, body i.age dysmorphi., and decreasi.g quali.y of li.e. BREAST-Q i. a PROM (Pati.nt Reported Outcome Measures) that has proven useful i. measuri.g sati.facti.n wi.h breast reconstructi.n results from the pati.nt’s poi.t of vi.w. Objecti.es: To measure the sati.facti.n i.dex and i.provement i. quali.y of li.e after breast reconstructi.n for breast cancer sequelae i. our hospi.al i. the last 5 years. Materi.ls and Methods: Descri.ti.e Study that i.cludes pati.nts wi.h Breast cancer di.gnosi. that underwent mastectomy and breast reconstructi.n (prosthesi. or autologous ti.sue) i. “Hospi.al central Sur de Petroleos Mexi.anos” (January 2015 to January 2020), whose sati.facti.n i.dex was measured wi.h BREAST-Q one year after reconstructi.n. Results: 153 pati.nts were i.cluded i. the analysi.. Mean global sati.facti.n was 74 poi.ts. We observed a tendency towards hi.her psychosoci.l, sexual and appearance sati.facti.n i. pati.nts who underwent reconstructi.n wi.h autologous ti.sue. The mean sati.facti.n wi.h provi.ed i.formati.n was 64 poi.ts and wi.h the medi.al team > 90 poi.ts. conclusi.n: Breast reconstructi.n i. associ.ted to a hi.h sati.facti.n i.dex and quali.y of li.e i.provement regardless of the techni.ue. BREAST-Q proved to be useful i. evaluati.g pati.nt experi.nce and i. helped us i.enti.y areas of opportuni.y to i.prove our care.

A bari.m-phosphate glass matri. was co-doped wi.h Sn O and Eu2O3 for i.vesti.ati.g on materi.l lumi.escent properti.s. Opti.al absorpti.n and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy（XPS） were employed i. the characteri.ati.n of ti. speci.s. The prevalence of di.alent ti. was i.di.ated by the XPS data i. accord wi.h a conspi.uous absorpti.n band detected around 285 nm ascri.ed to twofold-coordi.ated Sn centers（i.oelectroni. wi.h Sn^2＋）. Photolumi.escence（PL） exci.ati.n spectra obtai.ed by moni.ori.g Eu^3＋ emi.si.n from the 5D0 state revealed a broad exci.ati.n band from about 250 to 340 nm, characteri.ti. of donor/acceptor energy transfer. Under exci.ati.n of such at 290 nm, the co-doped materi.l exhi.i.ed a bri.ht whi.i.h lumi.escence, and a four-fold enhanced Eu3＋ emi.si.n relati.e to a purely Eu-doped reference. Ti.e-resolved PL spectra recorded under the exci.ati.n at 290 nm exposed a broad band characteri.ti. of the twofold-coordi.ated Sn centers and emi.si.n bands of Eu^3＋ i.ns, whi.h appeared well separated i. ti.e i. accord wi.h thei. emi.si.n decay dynami.s. The data suggested that li.ht absorpti.n took place at the Sn centers（donors） followed by energy transfer to Eu^3＋ i.ns（acceptors） whi.h resulted i. populati.g the 5D0 emi.ti.g state. Energy transfer pathways li.ely resulti.g i. the enhanced Eu3＋ photolumi.escence and the consequenti.l li.ht emi.si.n were di.cussed.
