in this article, we consider the drift parameter es.imation problem for the nonergodic Ornstein-Uhlenbeck process defined as dXt = OXtdt + dGt, i > 0 with an unknown parameter θ> 0, where G is a Gaussian process. We assume that the process {xt,t≥ 0} is observed at discrete time instants t1=△n,…, tn = n△n, and we construct two least squares type es.imators θn and θn for θ on the basis of the discrete observations ,{xti,i= 1,…, n} as →∞. Then, we provide sufficient conditions, based on properties of G, which ensure that θn and θn are strongly consistent and the sequences √n△n(θn-θ) and √n△n(θn-θ) are tight. Our approach offers an elementary proof of [11], which studied the case when G is a fractional Brownian motion with hurst parameter h∈(1/2, 1). As such, our results extend the recent findings by [11] to the case of general hurst parameter h∈(0,1). We also apply our approach to study subfractional Ornstein-Uhlenbeck and bifractional Ornstein-Uhlenbeck processes.

Objective:To evaluate micmbial quality and associated health risks of raw milk marketed in the Tanga region of ***:A microbial quality assessment of marketed raw milk was undertaken by evaluating 59 samples of milk from selling points(collecting centres =15),bicycle boys(12) and kiosks/restaurants(32) in Tanga city during April-May *** and milkborne hazards were assessed using a combination of tests in order to quantify the occurrence of Brucellosis(milk ring test),escherichia coli(***) O157:h7(culture),the coliforra bacteria as well as standard plate count(SPC).Specific gravity(SG) determination was used as an indicator of ***:The mean coliform plate count(c.f.u/mL) of milk handled by bicycle boys(4.2×10~6) was significantly higher than that handled by collecting centres(3.0×10~6) and kiosk/ restaurants(1.4× 10~6),respectively(P he 59 milk samples collected,33(56%) were Brucella milk ring test(MRT)-positive and 78%and 17%of the samples graded satisfactorily based on SG and coliform plate counts as prescribed by East African Community standards for raw *** was no verocytotoxigenic ***(VTEC) O157:h7 in any of the milk samples collected and analysed during the present ***:it can be concluded that raw market milk in the study area is of poor bacteriological quality and hazardous for human consumption. The Campos Gerais Domain(CGD)in southeastern Brazil is an approximately 180 km×35 km area of Archean–Proterozoic rocks located southwest of the São Francisco Craton(SFC).The Archean–Paleopro terozoic evolution of the CGD—alongside its potential correlation with the SFC or other cratonic blocks in the region-is currently *** present the results of systematic petrography,bulkrock geochemistry,mineral chemistry and geochronology for a suite of scarcely studied mafic–ultramafic rocks from the *** also provide a compilation of previously reported bulk-rock geochemical and spinel group mineral chemical data for mafic–ultramafic rocks throughout the CGD,and geochronological information for various lithotypes.in the *** CGD records a protracted Mesoarchean to Statherian(3.1–1.7 Ga)crustal evolution,which we interpret to share a common history with the southern SFC and their related reworked segments,sugges.ing that it is a westward extension of this cratonic *** metavolcano-sedimentary rocks of the Fortaleza de Minas and Alpinópolis segments represent a Mesoarchean greenstone belt that is stratigraphically and chemically comparable to Archean greenstone belts worldwide,and that is broadly coeval with a local suite of tonalite-trondhjemite-grano diorite(TTG)gneisses and migmatites.U-Pb ShRiMP zircon data from a subalkaline metagabbro yielded a concordia age of ca.2.96 Ga,revealing a previously unrecognized phase of Archean magmatism in the CGD that can be chrono-correlated with metakomatiite and TTG generation elsewhere in the São Francisco *** data contradict a hypothesis whereby the metavolcano-sedimentary rocks of the Jacuí-Bom Jesus da Penha and Petúnia segments represent an ophiolite,as previously suggested,instead presenting features that point to formation in association with a continental *** with a U-Pb(ShRiMP)crystallization age of ca.2.13 Ga recorded by zircon grains from a metaultramafic rock,these data h

Nuclear spins are among the potential candidates prospected for quantum information technology.A recent breakthrough enabled to atomically resolve their interaction with the electron spin,the so-called hyperfine interaction,within individual atoms utilizing scanning tunneling microscopy(STM).intriguingly,this was only realized for a few species put on a two-layers thick ***,we systematically quantify from first-principles the hyperfine interactions of the whole series of 3d transition adatoms deposited on various thicknesses of MgO,NaF,NaCl,h–BN,and Cu2N *** identify the adatom-substrate complexes with the largest hyperfine interactions and unveil the main trends and *** reveal the core mechanisms at play,such as the interplay of the local bonding geometry and the chemical nature of the thin films,which trigger transitions between high-and low-spin states accompanied with subtle internal rearrangements of the magnetic *** providing a general map of hyperfine interactions,our work has immediate implications in future STM inves.igations aiming at detecting and realizing quantum concepts hinging on nuclear spins.

Evaluation and modeling of runoff and sediment yield for different land covers under simulated rain in a semiarid region of Brazil

This paper quantifies the runoff and sediment yield for four different land covers in a semiarid region of Brazil. The WesP model, a distributed, event-oriented runoff-erosion model, was applied and its physical parameters, NSand KR, were adjusted based on observed runoff and sediment yield data using simulated rainfall with an average intensity of 53 mm h-1. The sediment yield obtained was 53.02 kg ha-1(caatinga vegetation), 231.96 kg ha-1(bare soil), 309.75 kg ha-1(beans), and 847.38 kg ha-1(corn). The results showed that caatinga cover yields the lowest erosion and runoff when compared to the other *** results also show that the sediment yield and runoff values simulated with NS, Ki, and KR parameters were well calibrated, within acceptable deviations. The caatinga vegetation was more effective in protecting the soil, when compared to the other types of coverage. The beans and corn covers had the highest values of runoff and sediment yield, even higher than those observed for bare soil.

背景:不孕不育是一种重大的生活危机,它可以导致精神病症状的发展并且对夫妻的生活质量产生负面影响,但其影响程度可能取决于文化背景。目标:我们比较了土耳其城市中生育妇女和不孕妇女的精神病症状程度、功能障碍水平和生活质量。方法:该横断面研究纳入了100名在里泽教育和研究医院的妇产科门诊治疗不孕不育的已婚女性和100名已婚已育的妇女作为对照组。对所有参与者均采用社会人口信息筛查表、医院焦虑抑郁量表(hospital Anxiety and Depres.ion Scale,hADS)、简单功能障碍问卷(Brief Disability Ques.ionnaire,BDQ)和健康状况问卷(Short Form health Survey,SF-36)进行评估。结果:不育女性的平均焦虑分量表得分和抑郁分量表得分稍高于对照组,但差异无统计学意义。不孕组妇女中有显著临床焦虑症状的比例(即焦虑分量表得分>11)显著高于育龄妇女(31%v.17%,X^2=5.37,p=0.020),但有显著临床抑郁症状的比例(即抑郁分量表评分hADS>8)在两组间没有显著性差异(43%v.33%,X^2=2.12,p=0.145)。不育女性自我报告前一个月的功能障碍显著比对照组严重,并且不育女性在SF-36的8个分量表中4个(一般健康、活力、社会功能和心理健康)显著差于对照组。与目前工作的不育女性相比,目前没有工作的女性不育患者报告的抑郁和焦虑程度较轻,且一般健康状况、活力和心理健康状况较好。结论:未发现土耳其城市地区中寻求治疗的不孕不育已婚女性并比已婚已育妇女有更严重的抑郁症状,但他们确实报告有较大的躯体和心理障碍并且生活质量较差。不孕不育的负面影响对在职不孕女性妇女比无业的不孕妇女更严重。西方国家这通常报告不孕患者抑郁和焦虑的患病率更高,我们需要更大规模的随访研究以评估这些结果与西方国家报告的结果不同的原因。
