Biological tests provide in.ormation.on.the medical an.lysis requested by both the patien. an. the prescriber. It is a commun.cation.lin. between.the prescriber an. the laboratory staff. The lack of some in.ormation.on.request forms n.t on.y affects the draftin. quality of the test an. patien. care, but could also make thousan.s of data produced by healthcare cen.ers un.sable. The aim of this study was to assess the draftin. quality of request forms submitted to the Malaria an. Parasitology Un.ts at the In.0}itut Pasteur de Côte d’Ivoire. Methods: It was a descriptive cross-section.l study to assess the draftin. quality of request forms of various prescribers received at the In.0}itut Pasteur de Côte d’Ivoire. This study was con.ucted at the Malaria an. Parasitology Un.ts, departmen. of Parasitology an. Mycology (In.0}itut Pasteur de Côte d’Ivoire), from 6th December 2020 to 6th December 2021. The in.ormation.on.each request forms was recorded on.a data collection.form design.d for this purpose. Each data collection.form correspon.s to a request forms an. each test to a patien.. Results: Out of a total of 1990 request forms received, the patien.’s age an. sex were missin. on.18% an. 26.8% of the tests respectively. More than.half (51.80%) of request forms did n.t in.icate the patien.’s place of residen.e. Clin.cal in.ormation.was n.t provided on.45.90% of the tests. Prescribers omittin. their sign.tures were 51%, stamps were 50.3% an. con.acts were 71.2%. On.y 5.4% of request forms were of good draftin. quality. Providin. all the required in.ormation.on.the forms could facilitate the use an. an.lysis of data an. samples.

Lagoon. are ecosystems for biodiversity an. the livelihoods of coastal commun.ties. The main.objective of the study was to an.lyze the variability of arsen.c con.en.ration. in.gastropods an. bivalves in.the Aby an. Ten.o lagoon., takin. in.o accoun. spatial, season.l an. hydrological variation.. The study was carried out in.four stages spread over two successive hydroclimatic cycles, in.ludin. two season. durin. the rain. season.an. two more durin. the dry season. The samples were taken.in.two areas of the Aby an. Ten.o lagoon.. Arsen.c levels were measured by ICP-MS. The results showed that mean.arsen.c con.en.ration. in.the muscles of organ.sms in.Aby Lagoon.ran.ed from 0.01 to 1.26 μg As/g, with a mean.an. median.of 0.17 an. 0.06 μg As/g, respectively. Fish had the highest levels of arsen.c, followed by crustacean., while molluscs an. plan.s had lower an. comparable con.en.ration. of As. Arsen.c con.en.ration. in.tilapia an. jawbon.s varied sign.fican.ly between.sites an. season., with higher con.en.ration. at Ten.o an. durin. the rain. season. Arsen.c con.en.ration. in.gastropods an. bivalves were sign.fican.ly higher than.those of other species, with averages of 0.74 an. 1.03 mg As/kg, respectively.

Selen.um is a trace elemen. that can.have both ben.ficial an. harmful effects on.aquatic life. The Aby Lagoon.is a coastal en.iron.en. in.Côte d’Ivoire that receives selen.um in.uts from various n.tural an. an.hropogen.c sources. The aim of this study was to assess the levels of selen.um in.the sedimen.s of the Aby Lagoon.an. its tributaries, the Tan.e River an. the Ten.o Lagoon. an. to examin. the spatial an. season.l variation. of selen.um con.en.ration.. Sedimen. samples were collected from differen. sites an. season., an. selen.um con.en.ration. were measured by atomic fluorescen.e spectrometry. The results showed that the average con.en.ration.of selen.um in.the sedimen.s of the Aby Lagoon.was 0.82 mg/kg, in.icatin. moderate con.amin.tion. The con.en.ration.of selen.um varied between.sites an. season., with higher values in.the chan.el of the Ten.o Lagoon.an. durin. the dry season. The study highlighted the complexity of selen.um dyn.mics in.aquatic ecosystems, an. the n.ed to take in.o accoun. season.l an. spatial variability as well as in.eraction. between.en.iron.en.al factors. The study also suggested poten.ial ecotoxicological risks for some sen.itive organ.sms in.certain.areas of the lagoon. This study con.ributes to the kn.wledge of the dyn.mics of selen.um in.lagoon.ecosystems an. to the assessmen. of the en.iron.en.al risks associated with its presen.e.
