The aims of this study were:i)to compare no-till areas in two municipalities located in different regions of Brazil,along with the influence on CO_(2)Flux and GPP,and ii)to verify the difference between environmental factors followed by the trends of these variables regarding future scenarios(ARIMA time-series model number).The study was carried out in two areas with different latitudes in the municipalities of Sinop-MT and Passo Fundo-RS,both in Brazil.A time series of 19 years was performed with data acquired by remote sensing from the following satellites:i)Landsat-8(OLI and TIRS),and ii)TERRA/AQUA(MODIS).The results propound that the spectro-temporal variables are directly influenced by soil management and agricultural practices over the observation time,with a satisfactory correlation in future predictions of the variables for the next ten years,in which presented that the variation of GPP and albedo values for the two study sites would gradually increase until 2028 and the temperature remained constant between the range of its seasonality,and CO_(2)Flux tends to decrease in its seasonality,indicating a higher CO_(2) absorption.

Background The Cerrado is the most biodiverse savanna and maintains other *** of its significance,this paper evaluated the Brazilian Cerrado’s climatic,environmental,and socioeconomic aspects using remote sensing data and spatial statistics(correlation analysis and principal components analysis—PCA).Following the measures of sample adequacy(MSA)and Kaiser–Meyer–Olkin(KMO)tests,seventeen variables were *** The MSA revealed that the dataset had a good quality(0.76),and nine variables were selected:elevation,evapotranspiration,active fires,Human Development Index(HDI),land use and land cover(LULC;shrubland and cropland/rainfed),rainfall(spring and autumn),and *** correlation matrix indicated a positive(negative)association between HDI and autumn rainfall(HDI and active fires)with a value of 0.77(-0.55).The PCA results determined which three principal components(PC)were adequate for extracting spatial patterns,accounting for 68.02%of the total variance with respective values of 38.59%,16.89%,and 12.5%.Due to economic development and agribusiness,Cerrado’s northern(central,western,and southern)areas had negative(positive)score HDI values,as shown in ***(rainfall—spring and fall)and environmental(cropland/rainfed and shrubland)aspects dominated the PC2,with negative scores in northern and western portions due to the transition zone between Amazon and Cerrado biomes caused by rainfall *** the other hand,environmental aspects(LULC-shrubland and elevation)influenced the PC3;areas with high altitudes(>500 m)received a higher *** Agricultural expansion substantially affected LULC,leading to deforestation-caused suppression of native vegetation.

Ni/Carbon Hybrid Prepared by Hydrothermal Carbonization and Thermal Treatment as Support for PtRu Nanoparticles for Direct Methanol Fuel Cell

Ni/Carbon was prepared in two steps： initially cellulose as carbon source and NiCl2·6H2O as catalyst of the carbonization process were submitted to hydrothermal treatment at 200 ℃ and further to thermal treatment at 900 ℃ under argon atmosphere. The obtained material contains Ni nanoparticles with face-centered cubic （fcc） structure dispersed on amorphous carbon with graphitic domains. PtRu/C electrocatalysts （carbon- supported PtRu nanoparticles） were prepared by an alcohol-reduction process using Ni/Carbon as support. The materials were characterized by thermogravimetric analysis, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy and tested as anodes in single direct methanol fuel cell （DMFC）. The performances of PtRu/C electrocatalysts using Ni/Carbon as support were superior to those obtained for PtRu/C using commercial carbon black Vulcan XC72 as support.

Helicobacter pylori(***)is a bacterium that infects more than a half of world’s *** it is mainly related to the development of gastroduodenal diseases,several studies have shown that such infection may also influence the development and severity of various extragastric *** to the current evidence,whereas this bacterium is a risk factor for some of these manifestations,it might play a protective role in other pathological *** that context,when considered the gastrointestinal tract,*** positivity have been related to Inflammatory Bowel Disease,Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease,Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease,Hepatic Carcinoma,Cholelithiasis,and ***,lower serum levels of iron and vitamin B12 have been found in patients with *** infection,leading to the emergence of anemias in a portion of *** regards to neurological manifestations,a growing number of studies have associated that bacterium with multiple sclerosis,Alzheimer’s disease,Parkinson’s disease,and Guillain-Barré***,the risk of developing cardiovascular disorders,such as atherosclerosis,is also influenced by the *** that,the ***-associated inflammation may also lead to increased insulin resistance,leading to a higher risk of diabetes mellitus among infected ***,the occurrence of dermatological and ophthalmic disorders have also been related to that *** this sense,this minireview aims to gather the main studies associating *** infection with extragastric conditions,and also to explore the main mechanisms that may explain the role of *** in those diseases.

Antiproliferative effect of extracts of Sida rhombifolia L.(Malvaceae)on the Allium cepa cell cycle

In the present experimental investigation,Al–3 wt%Cu and Al–3 wt%Cu–0.5 wt%Mg alloys castings are produced by a horizontal solidification technique with a view to examining the interrelationship among growth rate(GR),cooling rate(CR),secondary dendrite arm spacing(λ2),Vickers microhardness(HV),and corrosion behavior in a 0.5 M NaCl *** intermetallic phases of the as-solidified microstructures,that is,h-Al2Cu,S–Al2CuMg,and x-Al7Cu2 Fe,are subjected to a comprehensive characterization by using calculations provided by computational thermodynamics software,optical microscopy,and scanning electron microscopy/energy-dispersive ***,electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and potentiodynamic polarization tests have been applied to analyze the corrosion performance of samples of both alloys ***–Petch-type equations are proposed to represent the HV dependence onλ*** is shown that the addition of Mg to the Al–Cu alloy has led to a considerable increase in HV;however,the Al–Cu binary alloy is shown to have lower corrosion current density(icorr)as well as higher polarization resistance as compared to the corresponding results of the Al–Cu–Mg ternary alloy.

The New Brazilian Automotive Policy Challenges in the Technological Advancement of Vehicle Security in Brazil

With almost 23% of the industry＇s GDP （gross domestic public）, the Brazilian automobile industry confirms, once more, to be one of the most important sectors for national economy in the past years. Due to this relevance, in October 2012, the Brazilian government has approved by decree a program of incentive to innovation and intensification of the local productive chain in the automotive industry called ＂Inovar-Auto＂. The new Brazilian automotive policy aims by encouraging R ＆ D （research and development） to raise the technological level of vehicles manufactured in country. Undoubtedly, those initiatives contribute hugely for inserting the country on worldwide route of technological development encouraging the local production of safer vehicles and better technological contents. The search for this standard of vehicles has been a subject of several studies in the automotive world and in recent years it has gained importance, including being one of the Inovar-Auto challenges. In this context, this paper aims to present, through a theoretical research, key technologies and vehicle security initiatives developed so far in worldwide and to point out the challenges for development in the national market.

This research aimed to analyze the possibility to estimate and automatically map large areas of soybean cultivation through the use of MODIS(Moderate-Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer)*** major techniques were used:GEOgraphic-Object-Based Image Analysis(GEOBIA)and data Mining(DM).In order to obtain the images,the segmentation algorithm implemented by Definiens Developer was used.A decision tree(DT)was created from a training set previously ***-series of images from the MODIS sensor aboard the Terra satellite were acquired in order to represent the wide variation of the vegetation pattern along the soybean crop *** time-series data were used only for the CEI ***,to compare the results obtained from GEOBIA,the slicing technique was used at the CEI *** the training,the DT was applied to the vegetation indices generating the thematic map of the spatial distribution of *** accordance with the error matrix and kappa parameter analysis,tests for statistical significance were *** indicate that the classification achieved by Kappa coefficients is *** short,the obtained results proved that combining vegetation indices and time-series data using GEOBIA return promising results for mapping soybean plantation on a regional scale.

Assessment of hybrid geoids in Chile and Spain,combining GGM and GNSS/Leveling observations

This research presents the results for analyses done to five geopotential global models(GGM),comparing them with ground data from GNSS and leveling in heterogenic zones from the geodetic perspective,in Chile and *** the official and complete implementation of the International Height Reference Frame(IHRF)has not yet been established,the vertical geodetic system of many countries is not calculated on a global scale;instead,it is calculated by the variation of relative heights between one or more local tide gauges,such as in the case of Spain and *** aspect creates regional and specific altimetry data,which disables the use of GGM to directly obtain the orthometric height of the vertical reference system(VRS)from the GNSS *** models currently reach centimetric precision due to their high resolution but are directly incompatible for a local *** solve this,we expose in this article the contrast between geometric geoidal undulation(ellipsoidal heights and orthometric data from the leveling networks in Spain and Chile)with the geoidal undulation in more recent models and higher resolution:Earth Gravitational Model 2008(EGM08),European Improved Gravity model of the Earth by New techniques(EIGEN6 C4),Gravity Observation Combination(GOCO05 C),Experimental Gravity Field Model(XGM2016),and Ultra-High Resolution Global Geopotential Model(SGG-UGM),adjusting the residual between both referential heights by different parametric models and polynomials of determined *** evaluated,their geoidal undulations are combined with GNSS/leveling data from the corresponding VRS to generate a correcting surface,which is also known as a hybrid geoid,resulting in a model of optimal adjustment for the combination of five parameters of the EIGEN-6 C4 with orthometric heights and ellipsoids of both Chile and *** results show 2-3 cm precisions,which were statistically analyzed to determine the suitability for *** final products are three grids of indep
