Preventing surgical site infection using operating room bundle of care in patients undergoing elective exploratory laparotomy cholecystectomy surgery

This study evaluates the on use of crushed rocks(remineralizers)to increase soil fertility levels and which contributed to increase agricultural productivity,recovery of degraded areas,decontamination of water,and carbon *** use of these geological materials is part of the assumptions of rock technology and,indirectly,facilitates the achievement of sustainable development goals related to soil management,climate change,and the preservation of water *** over the past 50 years on silicate rocks focused on soil fertility management and agricultural *** recently,the combined use with microorganisms and organic correctives have shown positive results to mitigate soil degradation;to expand carbon sequestration and storage;and to contribute to the adsorption of contaminants from water and *** this article we show results obtained in several countries and we show that this technology can contribute to the sustainability of agriculture,as well as to reverse global *** mineral nutrients are released more slowly from these types of inputs,they remain in the soil for a longer time,stimulating the soil *** addition,they are a technology to soluble synthetic fertilizers replace,since the few nutrients derived from such inputs not consumed by plants are lost by leaching,contaminating groundwater and water *** addition,conventional methods rely heavily on chemical pesticides which cause damage to soil’s microfauna(responsible for the decomposition of organic matter and nutrient cycling)and the loss of organic carbon(in the form of dioxide),which is quickly dispersed in the *** rock powders are applied in natura,have long-lasting residual effects and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

A Procedure for the Design of Novel Assisting Devices for the sit-to-stand

The sit-to-stand （sTs） is an activity most people perform numerous times daily. standing up deals with the transition from two stabilized postures, namely seated to standing, with movement of all body segments except the feet. During the sTs the body＇s Center of Gravity （COG） is moved upward from a sitting position to a standing position without losing balance and requiring a good coordination of many muscles. Three main phases of the sTs movement can be recognized. One begins to stand up by inclining the upper body forward, which moves body mass toward the feet in order to maintain balance after lift-off. Prior to leaving the chair, hip and knee extensor muscles are activated to provide antigravity support for these joints, this action is commonly referred to as ＂weight shift＂. Finally; after leaving the chair, the leg and trunk joints are straightened to achieve upright stance. The sTs task can be considered of major importance for impaired and elderly people to achieve minimal mo- bility and independence. In this paper we detail a procedure for the design of assisting devices to be used for the sTs. In par- ticular, an experimental procedure is described firstly to track and record point trajectories and the orientation of the trunk during the sTs. This analysis is then used to get information for the design of assisting devices. A proposal and simulation results are presented for a novel mechatronic system. In particular, for the case under study experimental tests are used to drive the actua- tion system for the reported simulation. A functional mechatronic scheme is then proposed to control the device during its operation.

People-Centered Care: Concept Analysis

Purpose: This study aims to clarify the definition, attributes, antecedents, and consequences of the concept of people-centered care (PCC). Method: Rogers and Knafl’s evolutionary method was used to analyze the concept of People-centered care. The cords such as “Attributes,” “Antecedent,” and “Consequences” were extracted on the coding sheet. The extracted contents of each of the “Attributes,” “Antecedent,” and “Consequences” from the created coding sheets were summarized as codes, and similar codes were categorized. Result: We included 33 studies in the analysis. As a result of the analysis, we identified four attributes (the subject is people, approaches to improving and enhancing health issues, relationships as a basis for partnership building, and behavioral attitudes for building partnerships), four antecedents (changes in social conditions, increasing people’s ownership of their health, health issues in modern society, and care in a variety of settings), and three consequences (achieving goals set by the people themselves, self-transformations of both people and healthcare providers, and social transformations). Discussion: Based on the analysis results, PCC was defined as “an initiative in which people step forward and partner with health care providers to improve and enhance health issues in individuals and communities.” In various social and individual changes, the realization of PCC is expected to result in the achievement of goals set by the people themselves together with health care providers and the transformation of individuals and society.
