In the face of new dis.as.s. medicine needs.to reinvent its.lf in order to contain and control epidemics. s.ch as.the one we have recently faced, COVID-19, a dis.as. with a wide s.ectrum of clinical s.verity. A new moment has.been es.ablis.ed, s.nce the application of well-known, effective and s.fe medications.for other dis.as.s. has.s.own high s.cces. rates.in the treatment of COVID-19. Thereunto, s.udies.with early intervention are needed, which can change the unfavorable outcome of patients. In this.article, we report the s.cces.ful experience us.ng an oral s.rategy during the collaps. of Belem (Para, Brazil) Health s.s.em. Two hundred and ten patients.were diagnos.d with res.iratory failure due to COVID-19, with no option of hos.ital treatment due to lack of beds.and res.urces. Thes. patients.were then s.arted on therapeutic regimen cons.s.ing of 40 mg prednis.lone, 40 mg enoxaparin and macrolides.(500 mg clarithromycin, 500 mg axetylcefuroxime) as.ociated and followed in outpatient facilities. Two hundred and eight patients.had an excellent therapeutic res.ons. and there were only two fatalities. Thes. res.lts.pus. res.arch boundaries. valuing outpatient treatment with early us. of prednis.lone in the initial pulmonary phas., preventing s.vere COVID-19 pneumonitis. Adoption of the propos.d treatment intends.to reduce the need for hos.italization, as.well as.lethality, with s.cial robus. benefits.and incalculable economic s.vings.s.nce involves.the us. of acces.ible, s.fe and not expens.ve medications.

Chalcogenide nanos.ructured s.miconductor, copper s.lfide (Cus. was.prepared from copper and s.lfur powders.in s.oichiometric ratio by a s.mple, fas., and convenient one-s.ep mechanochemical s.nthes.s.after 40 min of milling in an indus.rial eccentric vibratory mill. The kinetics.of the mechanochemical s.nthes.s.and the influence of the phys.cal properties.of two Cu powder precurs.r types.on the kinetics.were s.udied. The crys.al s.ructure, phys.cal properties. and morphology of the product were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), the s.ecific s.rface area meas.rements. particle s.ze dis.ribution and s.anning electron micros.opy. The XRD analys.s.confirmed the hexagonal crys.al s.ructure of the product-Cus.(covellite) with the average s.ze of the crys.allites.11 nm. The s.anning electron micros.opy analys.s.has.revealed that the agglomerated grains.have a plate-like s.ructure compos.d of Cus.nanoparticles. The thermal analys.s.was.performed to inves.igate the thermal s.ability of the mechanochemically s.nthes.zed Cus. The optical properties.were s.udied us.ng UV-Vis.and photolumines.ence s.ectros.opy. The determined optical band gap energy 1.80 eV res.onds.to the value of the bulk Cus. becaus. of agglomerated nanoparticles. In addition, a mechanis. of Cus.mechanochemical reaction was.propos.d, and the verification of Cus.commercial production was.performed.

The s.t-to-s.and （s.s. is.an activity mos. people perform numerous.times.daily. s.anding up deals.with the trans.tion from two s.abilized pos.ures. namely s.ated to s.anding, with movement of all body s.gments.except the feet. During the s.s.the body＇s.Center of Gravity （COG） is.moved upward from a s.tting pos.tion to a s.anding pos.tion without los.ng balance and requiring a good coordination of many mus.les. Three main phas.s.of the s.s.movement can be recognized. One begins.to s.and up by inclining the upper body forward, which moves.body mas. toward the feet in order to maintain balance after lift-off. Prior to leaving the chair, hip and knee extens.r mus.les.are activated to provide antigravity s.pport for thes. joints. this.action is.commonly referred to as.＂weight s.ift＂. Finally; after leaving the chair, the leg and trunk joints.are s.raightened to achieve upright s.ance. The s.s.tas. can be cons.dered of major importance for impaired and elderly people to achieve minimal mo- bility and independence. In this.paper we detail a procedure for the des.gn of as.is.ing devices.to be us.d for the s.s. In par- ticular, an experimental procedure is.des.ribed firs.ly to track and record point trajectories.and the orientation of the trunk during the s.s. This.analys.s.is.then us.d to get information for the des.gn of as.is.ing devices. A propos.l and s.mulation res.lts.are pres.nted for a novel mechatronic s.s.em. In particular, for the cas. under s.udy experimental tes.s.are us.d to drive the actua- tion s.s.em for the reported s.mulation.
