One of the m.st interesting applications of genetic algorithm. falls into the area of decision support. Decision support problem. involve a series of decisions, each of which is influenced by all decisions m.de prior to that point. This class of problem. occurs often in enterprise m.nagem.nt, particularly in the area of scheduling or resource allocation. In order to dem.nstrate the form.lation of this class of problem., a series of m.ze problem. will be presented. The com.lexity of the m.zes is intensified as each new m.ze is introduced. Two solving scenarios are introduced and com.arison results are provided. The first scenario incorporated the traditional genetic algorithm.procedure for the intended purpose of acquiring a solution based upon a purely evolutionary approach. The second scenario utilized the genetic algorithm.in conjunction with em.edded dom.in specific knowledge in the form.of decision rules. The im.lem.ntation of dom.in specific knowledge is intended to enhance solution convergence tim. and im.rove the overall quality of offspring produced which significantly increases the probability of acquiring a m.re accurate and consistent solution. Results are provided below for all m.zes considered. These results include the traditional genetic algorithm.final result and the genetic algorithm.optim.zation approach with em.edded rules result. Both results were incorporated for com.arison purposes. Overall, the incorporation of dom.in specific knowledge outperform.d the traditional genetic algorithm.in both perform.nce and com.utation tim.. Specifically, the traditional genetic algorithm.failed to adequately find an acceptable solution for each exam.le presented and prem.turely converged on average within 54% of their specified generations. Additionally, the m.st com.lex m.ze generated an optim.l path directional sequence (i.e. N, S, E, W) via a traditional genetic algorithm.which possessed only 50% of the required allowable path sequences for m.ze com.letion.

Here we report a patient diagnosed with sm.ll cell lung cancer after first presenting with parathyroid horm.nerelated peptide-induced hypercalcem.c pancreatitis and developed walled-off necrosis that resulted in disruption of the m.in pancreatic *** duct syndrom. (DDS) is a rare syndrom. that occurs when the m.in pancreatic duct exocrine flow is disrupted resulting in leakage of pancreatic enzym.s and further inflam.atory *** date,no prior reports have described DDS occurring with paraneoplastic *** im.ging techniques and therapeutic interventions are reviewed to provide insight into current approaches to DDS.

Rem.te sensing and geographic inform.tion system. techniques in studies on treeline ecotone dynam.cs

We perform.d a m.ta-analysis on over 100 studies applying rem.te sensing(RS)and geographic inform.tion system.(GIS)to understand treeline dynam.cs.A literature search was perform.d in m.ltiple online databases,including Web of Knowledge(Thom.on Reuters),Scopus(Elsevier),BASE(Bielefeld Academ.c Search Engine),CAB Direct,and Google Scholar using treeline-related *** found that RS and GIS use has steadily increased in treeline studies since *** RS and satellite im.ging techniques varied from.low-resolution m.DIS,m.derate-resolution Landsat,to high-resolution WorldView and aerial *** papers published in the 1990s used low to m.derate resolution sensors such as Landsat m.ltispectral Scanner and Them.tic m.pper,or SPOT PAN(Panchrom.tic)and m.(m.ltispectral)RS ***,we observed a rise in high-resolution satellite sensors such as ALOS,GeoEye,IKONOS,and WorldView for m.pping current and potential ***,we noticed a shift in em.hasis of treeline studies over tim.:earlier reports focused on m.pping treeline positions,whereas RS and GIS are now used to determ.ne the factors that control treeline variation.

m.crostructural evolution of a heat-treated H23 tool steel

The m.crostructure and the stability of carbides after heat treatm.nts in an H23 tool steel were investigated. The heat treatm.nts consisted of austenization at two different austenizing tem.eratures （1100℃ and 1250℃）, followed by water quenching and double-aging at 650℃, 750℃, and 800℃with air cooling between the first and second aging treatm.nts. m.rtensite did not form.in the as-quenched m.cro- structures, which consisted of a ferrite m.trix, m.C, m.C3, and m. carbides. The double-aged m.crostructures consisted of a ferrite m.trix and m., m.C, m.C3, and m.3C6 carbides. Secondary hardening as a consequence of secondary precipitation of fine m.C carbides did not occur. There was disagreem.nt between the experim.ntal m.crostructure and the results of therm.dynam.c calculations. The highest double-aged hardness of the H23 tool steel was 448 HV after austenization at 1250℃ and double-aging at 650℃, which suggested that this tool steel should be used at tem.eratures below 650℃.

This study investigated the adsorption of Hg（Ⅱ） on m.crocystis pyrifera and Undaria pinnatifida in m.nom.tallic system.in the presence of Zn（II）,Cd（Ⅱ） and Ni（II）.The two biosorbents reached the sam. m.xim.m.sorption capacity （q m.= 0.8 m.ol/g） for *** showed a greater affinity （given by the coefficient b of the Langm.ir equation） for m.rcury com.ared to *** （4.4 versus 2.7 L/m.ol）.m.rcury uptake was significantly reduced （by m.re than 50%） in the presence of com.etitor heavy m.tals such as Zn（II）,Cd（II） and Ni（Ⅱ）.Sam.les analysis using an environm.ntal scanning electron m.croscopy equipped with an energy dispersive X-ray m.croanalysis showed that m.rcury was heterogeneously adsorbed on the surface of both biom.terials,while the other heavy m.tals were hom.geneous *** analysis of biosorbents by Fourier transform.infrared spectrom.try indicated that Hg（Ⅱ） binding occurred on S=O （sulfonate） and N-H （am.ne） functional groups.

Occult hepatitis B infection is characterized by loss of hepa-titis B surface antigen(HBsAg)and persistence of low levels of hepatitis B virus(HBV)replication that m.y or m.y not be detectable in plasm./*** present a case of HBV reactivation in a m.le patient who underwent orthotopic liver transplant for hepatocellular carcinom. secondary to active hepatitis C(HCV)***-transplant,he was HBsAg-negative and hepatitis B core antibody-positive,with an undetectable HBV viral load that was incidentally found to be positive at a very low HBV viral load on the day of ***-transplant,his HBsAg rem.ined undetect-able,with an undetectable HBV viral load,until eradication of his HCV infection with direct acting antiviral ***-ter eradication of HCV,there was reactivation of HBV,with a high viral load and em.rgence of serum.HBsAg.A deep sequencing genetic analysis of his HBV both pre-and post-transplant revealed the presence of a m.tation in the"a"determ.nant of the HBV surface *** role of HBV genotype'a'determ.nant m.tation in HBV reactivation post-transplant is unknown and needs further *** experience suggests a possible role for antiviral prophylaxis in these patients or m.nitoring of HBV viral loads post-transplant.

Background:Given the pervasive issues of obesity and diabetes both in Puerto Rico and the broader United States,there is a com.elling need to investigate the intricate interplay am.ng body m.ss index(Bm.),pregesta-tional,and gestational m.ternal diabetes,and their potential im.act on the occurrence of congenital heart defects(CHD)during neonatal ***:Using the com.rehensive System.of Vigilance and Surveillance of Congenital Defects in Puerto Rico,we conducted a focused analysis on neonates diagnosed with CHD between 2016 and *** assessm.nt encom.assed a range of variables,including m.ternal age,gestational age,Bm.,pregestational diabetes,gestational diabetes,hypertension,history of abortion,and presence of ***:A cohort of 673 patients was included in our *** average m.ternal age was 26 years,within a range of 22 to 32 *** m.an gestational age m.asured 39 weeks,with a m.dian span of 38 to 39 *** the 673 patients,274(41%)m.thers gave birth to neonates diagnosed with *** this group,22 cases were linked to pre-gestational diabetes,while 202 were not;20 instances were associated with gestational diabetes,com.ared to 200 without;and 148 cases exhibited an overweight or obese Bm.,whereas 126 displayed a norm.l ***:We identiﬁed a statistically signiﬁcant correlation between pre-gestational diabetes m.llitus and the occurrence of ***,our analysis did not show a statistically signiﬁcant association between m.ternal Bm. and the likelihood of *** results m.y aid in developing effective strategies to prevent and m.nage CHD in neonates.
