The development of aqueous battery with dual mechanisms is now arousing more and more *** dual mechanisms of Zn^(2+)(de)intercalation and I^(-)/I_(2)redox bring unexpected ***,differing from previous studies using Zn I_(2)additive,this work designs an aqueous Bi I_(3)-Zn battery with selfsupplied I^(-).Ex situ tests reveal the conversion of Bi I_(3)into Bi(discharge)and Bi OI(charge)at the 1st cycle and the dissolved I^(-)in *** active I^(-)species enhances the specific capacity and discharge medium voltage of electrode as well as improves the generation of Zn dendrite and ***,the porous hard carbon is introduced to enhance the electronic/ionic conductivity and adsorb iodine species,proven by experimental and theoretical ***,the well-designed Bi I_(3)-Zn battery delivers a high reversible capacity of 182 m A h g^(-1)at 0.2 A g^(-1),an excellent rate capability with 88 m A h g^(-1)at 10 A g^(-1),and an impressive cyclability with 63%capacity retention over 20 k cycles at 10 A g^(-1).An excellent electrochemical performance is obtained even at a high mass loading of 6 mg cm^(-2).moreover,a flexible quasi-solid-state Bi I_(3)-Zn battery exhibits satisfactory battery *** work provides a new idea for designing high-performance aqueous battery with dual mechanisms.

Untangling the biotic stress in the late maastrichtian Deccan-benchmark interval of Bidart(France)

The late maastrichtian witnessed substantial surges in Deccan volcanism,prompting the hypothesis that these voluminous pulses may have instigated repeated episodes of ocean acidification during this *** Cretaceous-Palaeogene(k/Pg)boundary at Bidart(France)is preceded by a~0.5 m thick interval with geochemical and taphonomic vestiges of an ocean acidification event linked with Deccan *** planktic foraminifera census and morphometric data now confirm biotic stress conditions related to acidification in the Deccan benchmark *** absolute abundance data of larger(>150μm)heavily calcified planktic morphogroups show fluctuating populations throughout zone CF1(spanning the final~225 ky),lowest peaks within the Deccan benchmark,and a demographic collapse(>90%)at the k/Pg *** analyzed species are generally reduced in size,with thinner test walls in this~0.5 m interval,indicating the likelihood of calcification stress as a contributor to the overall biotic *** the k/Pg boundary,maximum biotic stress is recorded in all the tested faunal proxies.A preliminary graphic correlation of zone CF1 at Bidart with the auxiliary GSSP at Elles(Tunisia)constrains the Deccan benchmark interval of high biotic stress to the final~58ky of the late maastrichtian,culminating in the k/Pg mass *** volcanogenic Hg peaks coincident with faunal and taphonomic evidence of ocean acidification strengthen the Deccan-related ocean acidification hypothesis.

目的:探讨机械通气病人超声监测肠系膜上动脉(SmA)血流速变化对肠内营养不耐受(FI)的影响及其预测效能。方法:回顾性纳入南通市第二人民医院重症医学科2022年2月至2023年2月期间收治的108例机械通气病人的临床资料,分析肠内营养开始的第1、3、7天(D1、D3、D7)SmA血流参数及肠内营养耐受情况。研究肠内营养不耐受组和耐受组、不耐受组各亚组(轻、中、重度)病人SmA血流速参数差异;评估SmA血流参数对FI的预测价值,探索FI的风险因素,初步探究SmA血流参数与肠道屏障功能的关系。结果:D1、D3及D7耐受组病人SmA血流速参数收缩期峰值速度(PSV)及舒张末期速度(EDV)均高于不耐受组,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05);亚组分析显示,D7随着不耐受程度逐步加重,PSV逐渐下降;D1、D3、D7 EDV随着不耐受程度逐渐加重,EDV逐渐下降,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05);D1、D3、D7病人PSV及EDV预测FI的AUC分别为0.752(95%CI:0.660~0.830)及0.773(95%CI:0.682~0.848)、0.774(95%CI:0.683~0.849)及0.796(95%CI:0.708~0.868)、0.743(95%CI:0.650~0.822)及0.713(95%CI:0.618~0.796);D3病人PSV、去甲肾上腺素使用、血磷水平是FI的独立预后因素;肠内营养不耐受病人PSV、EDV与二胺氧化酶均呈负相关(PSV:r=-0.857,P<0.001;EDV:r=-0.795,P<0.001);PSV与脂多糖内毒素呈正相关(r=0.377,P=0.040)。结论:超声监测肠系膜上动脉血流速变化有效预测机械通气病人肠内营养不耐受。

In view of the randomness distribution of multiple users in the dynamic large-scale Internet of Things(IoT)scenario,comprehensively formulating available resources for fog nodes in the area and achieving computation services at low cost have become great *** a result,this paper studies an efficient and intelligent computation offloading mechanism with resource ***,an optimization problem is formulated to minimize the total energy consumption of all tasks under the joint optimization of computation offloading decisions,bandwidth resources and transmission ***,a Twin Delayed Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient-based Intelligent Computation Offloading(TD3PG-ICO)algorithm is proposed to solve this optimization *** combining the concept of the actor critic algorithm,the proposed algorithm designs two independent critic networks that can avoid the subjective prediction of a single critic network and better guide the policy network to generate the global optimal computation offloading ***,this algorithm introduces a continuous variable discretization operation to select the target offloading node with random *** available resources of the target node are dynamically allocated to improve the model decision-making ***,the simulation results show that this proposed algorithm has faster convergence speed and good *** can always approach the greedy algorithm with respect to the lowest total energy ***,compared with full local and Deep Q-learning Network(DQN)-based computation offloading schemes,the total energy consumption can be reduced by an average of 15.53%and 6.41%,respectively.

Sub-stand diameter distribution types vary along an old-growth Douglas-fir chronosequence into the horizontal diversification development stage

managing mature Douglas-fir[Pseudotsuga menziesii(mirb.)Franco]stands to emulate the structural complexity of natural old-growth forest requires identifying structural targets at the sub-stand level at which neighborhood dynamics and patchy disturbance shape *** therefore sought to describe the archetypal shapes of predominant sub-stand diameter distribution types(DDTs)observed in natural tree neighborhoods in stands comprising a chronosequence(ca.120-450+yrs)encompassing mature,vertical diversification,and horizontal diversification development *** ten 1.0 ha stands are located in the southcentral Oregon Cascades,*** on the known spatial position of each tree,natural tree neighborhoods were identified using the floating neighborhood approach based on spatial tessellation connecting neighboring trees at the first-(mean 61 m2)through fifth-(mean 2058 m2)order *** analysis was then used to objectively identify the most predominant DDTs among the relative tree size distributions observed in the trans-scale neighborhoods within each *** measures regression was used to classify each DDT to one of six observed archetypal shapes:negative exponential,unimodal,rotated sigmoid,bimodal,concave,or *** three of the 81 observed DDTs deviated bym the stand average,while every stand had at least one DDT that deviated by>50%(maximum 83%).Within each stand,five to ten predominant DDTs were observed,which deviated from the stand average by 30-48%and were characterized by two to five different archetypal ***,in some stands the majority of tree neighborhoods were best characterized by a different shape from that assigned at the stand *** from the stand average increased from the youngest stand in the mature development stage through the middle stands in the vertical diversification stage to the oldest stands in the horizontal diversification *** complexity of DDT shapes tended to increas

Disinfection byproducts in chlorinated or brominated swimming pools and spas: Role of brominated DBPs and association with mutagenicity

Although the health benefits of swimming are well-documented, health effects such as asthma and bladder cancer are linked to disinfection by-products(DBPs) in pool water. DBPs are formed from the reaction of disinfectants such as chlorine(Cl) or bromine(Br) with organics in the water. Our previous study(Daiber et al., Environ. Sci. Technol. 50, 6652;2016) found correlations between the concentrations of classes of DBPs and the mutagenic potencies of waters from chlorinated or brominated swimming pools and spas. We extended this study by identifying significantly different concentrations of 21 individual DBPs in brominated or chlorinated pool and spa waters as well as identifying which DBPs and additional DBP classes were most associated with the mutagenicity of these waters. Using data from our previous study, we found that among 21 DBPs analyzed in 21 pool and spa waters, the concentration of bromoacetic acid was significantly higher in Brwaters versus Cl-waters, whereas the concentration of trichloroacetic acid was significantly higher in Cl-waters. Five Br-DBPs(tribromomethane, dibromochloroacetic acid, dibromoacetonitrile, bromoacetic acid, and tribromoacetic acid) had significantly higher concentrations in Br-spa versus Cl-spa waters. Cl-pools had significantly higher concentrations of ClDBPs(trichloroacetaldehyde, trichloromethane, dichloroacetic acid, and chloroacetic acid), whereas Br-pools had significantly higher concentrations of Br-DBPs(tribromomethane, dibromoacetic acid, dibromoacetonitrile, and tribromoacetic acid). The concentrations of the sum of all 4 trihalomethanes, all 11 Br-DBPs, and all 5 nitrogen-containing DBPs were each significantly higher in brominated than in chlorinated pools and spas. The 8 Br-DBPs were the only DBPs whose individual concentrations were significantly correlated with the mutagenic potencies of the pool and spa waters.
