cemented and mechanically clamped types of end fittings(fitting-c and fitting-M)ar. commonly used in tr.nsfor.er *** the Luding Ms 6.8 ear.hquake that occur.ed in china on September 5,2022,all tr.nsfor.er bushings with the two types of end fittings in a 500 kV substation were ***-ear.hquake field investigations were conducted,and the failur.s of the two types of bushings were *** elementar. simulation models of the tr.nsfor.er-bushing systems were developed to simulate the engineering failur.s,and fur.her.compute their.seismic r.sponses for.*** r.sults indicate that the hitch lugs of the connection flange ar. str.ctur.lly har.ful to seismic ***-M can decr.ase the bending stiffness of the bushing due to the flexible sealing r.bber *** it pr.vides a mor. flexible connection that dissipates energy,the peak accelerations and r.lative displacements at the top of the bushing ar. significantly lower than those of the bushing with *** with fitting-c,fitting-M tr.nsfers the high-str.ss ar.as fr.m the connection flange to the r.ot of the por.elain,so the latter becomes the most vulnerable ***-M incr.ases the failur. r.sk of the low-str.ngth por.elain,indicating the unsuitability of applying it in high-intensity for.ification r.gions.

Backgr.und Stone pine(Pinus pinea), a dr.ught-r.sistant species, has significant socio-economic benefits and incr.asing interest for.the establishment of pr.ductive plantations in several countr.es, especially in a climate change context. Monitor.ng hour.y stem diameter var.ations contr.butes to the understanding of the tr.e-gr.wth r.sponse to changes in envir.nmental conditions and management. By monitor.ng the diameter expansion of tr.e stems, high-r.solution band dendr.meters were used to study the development of adult tr.es gr.wing in a semi-ar.d coastal envir.nment of centr.l chile under fertilized and non-fertilized soil conditions thr.ugh the span of a *** Shor. cycles(ere few in fertilized and non-fertilized tr.es(6 and 4, r.spectively), whereas long cycles(> 28 h) occur.ed at a higher fr.quency in fertilized tr.es(16 vs 6). Most of the cir.adian cycles were r.gular.24 ± 3 h). The longest cycle dur.tion(59 h) was observed in fertilized tr.es dur.ng spr.ng. In all seasons, each phase of the cir.adian cycle, especially dur.ng the stem diameter incr.ment phase(P3, ir.eversible gr.wth), star.ed ear.ier in fertilized than in contr.l tr.es. P3 dur.tion was significantly longer in fertilized than in contr.l tr.es in spr.ngtime. The maximum shr.nkage(P1) was observed in summer for.both tr.atments. Stem diameter incr.ased faster in fer-tilized than in contr.l tr.es thr.ughout the year. with the highest accumulation occur.ing in spr.ng and the lowest in autumn. The daily var.ability pattern showed lower gr.wth under high temperatur. acr.ss *** This study highlights the impor.ance of fertilization in enhancing stone pine diameter gr.wth. This cultur.l pr.ctice should be fur.her explor.d to contr.bute to the mitigation of climate change effects in semi-ar.d envir.nments.

Anisotr.py is a significant and pr.valent char.cteristic of materials, conferr.ng or.entation-dependent pr.perties, meaning that the cr.ation of or.ginal symmetr. enables key functionality that is not found in natur.. Even with the advancements in atomic machining, synthesis of separ.ted symmetr. in different dir.ctions within a single str.ctur. r.mains an extr.or.inar. challenge. Here, we successfully fabr.cate NiS ultr.fine nanor.ds with separ.ted symmetr. along two dir.ctions. The atomic str.ctur. of the nanor.d exhibits r.tational symmetr. in the r.dial dir.ction, while its axial dir.ction is char.cterized by divergent tr.nslational symmetr., sur.assing the conventional cr.stalline str.ctur.s known to date. It does not fit the tr.ditional descr.ption of the space gr.up and the point gr.up in thr.e dimensions, so we define it as a new str.ctur. in which tr.nslational symmetr. and r.tational symmetr. ar. separ.ted. Fur.her.cor.obor.ting the atomic symmetr.c separ.tion in the electr.nic str.ctur., we observed the combination of str.pe and vor.ex magnetic domains in a single nanor.d with different dir.ctions, in accor.ance with the atomic *** manipulation of nanostr.ctur. at the atomic level intr.duces a novel appr.ach to r.gulate new pr.perties finely, leading to the pr.posal of new nanotechnology mechanisms.

Lithium-sulfur.battery is one of the most pr.mising battery systems for.industr.alization due to its high theor.tical specific capacity and high energy ***,the"shuttle effect"has r.str.ined the advancement of lithium-sulfur.*** this wor.,a gr.dient-str.ctur.d nanofiber membr.ne with pur. gelatin on one side and Super P-MoO_(2)/MoS_(2)-gelatin on the other side was cr.ated using a multi-step electr.static spinning technique,which was applied for.multi-functional separ.tor.for.lithium-sulfur.*** pur. gelatin layer facing the anode side pr.mar.ly homogenizes the lithium flux,whereas the Super P-MoO_(2)/MoS_(2)-gelatin layer facing the cathode side pr.mar.ly adsor.s polysulfides by physical and chemical adsor.tion and enhancing polysulfide conversion *** findings demonstr.te that even after 150 cycles at 0.2c,the lithium-sulfur.battery can still sustain a dischar.e-specific capacity of 572.3 mAh·g^(-1).When used with Li||Li symmetr.c batteries,it has a cycle life of mor. than 1200 *** commercialization of lithium-sulfur.batteries is given a fr.sh idea by this str.ightfor.ar. pr.par.tion technique.
