coal-tar pitch(cP)is a promising carbon raw material for producing needle coke,carbon fiber *** processing,the H/c ratio,ash content,and quinoline insoluble(QI)in the cP are the key factors that influence the material *** this study,NMP was selected to extract cP first;then[BMIM]cl/NMP mixed solvent was used;and finally a series of ionic liquids(ILs)mixtures with NMP were developed for the extraction of cP to obtain the refined *** extracts were analyzed via elemental analysis,TGA,FT-IR,and *** indicate that different NMP/IL mass ratios or different kinds of ILs have impact on the extraction *** relationship of the hydrogen to carbon(H/c)ratio changed with different solvents and QI extracts were *** showed that the H/c ratios changed little between NMP extracts and could be adjusted by changing the NMP/ILs mass ratio or using different *** extracts are suitable for preparation mesophase pitch because of no ash content,low QI,and appropriate H/c *** a result,NMP can be used to refine *** addition,[BMIM]cl is good mixed with NMP for cP extraction,because it can obtain a relatively high yield under the same extraction conditions.

The geometries of molecules H_3AXAH_3(X=O,S,Se and A=c,Si)have been optimized using STO-3G ab initio calculations and gradient method and the results are in good agreement with reported experimental *** the STO-3G optimized geometries,we have also calculated the electronic structures of these molecules using 4-31G and 6-31G basis sets to obtain the MO energies. atomic net charges and dipole *** ionization potentials calculated by 6-31G basis set are in good agreement with experimental values.

Effect of group size and regrouping on physiological stress and behavior of dairy calves

Mixing or regrouping of calves from different pens is a common animal management practice on the farm, which frequently occurs after weaning and has a negative effect on calve welfare. Social integration before regrouping may relieve stresses, but more evidences are needed to verify this hypothesis. The present study aimed to investigate acute physiological and behavioral variations of individually-or group-housed calves after being introduced into a mixed group. A total of 132 postnatal calves were randomly divided into groups of 1, 3, 6 and 12 animals(S, G3, G6, and G12;6 replicates in each group) until 59 days of age. At 60 days of age, every two replicates from different groups(S, G3, G6 and G12)were introduced in a larger pen which containing 44 of the aboved experimental calves. Before and after regrouping,physiological parameters of stress, including heart rate(HR), saliva cortisol(S-cORT), saliva secretory immunoglobulin A(SIgA), interleukin-2(IL-2), interleukin-6(IL-6), tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) levels, and behavioral responses were recorded. After regrouping, HR and S-cORT increased immediately(Per(Pch molecules were found in S calves compared to those in group-housed calves. Levels of SIgA and IL-2 were decreased(Pere found in S calves compared to those in group-housed calves. In addition, the introduced calves displayed a distinct behavior, including altered active and rest time, which was associated with negative emotions triggered by the novel surroundings. Allogrooming, play, exploration behaviors and lying time were increased significantly(Pcalves than those in S calves. conversely, self-grooming, aggressive behaviors, standing and walking time were increased(Pcalves than those in group-housed calves. Objective: This study aimed to investigate DNA sequences that are substantially homologous to the corresponding RNA sequence sections of the hepatitis c virus (HcV). These DNA sequences are present in the whole DNA extracted from peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMcs) of HcV-negative subjects. We presumed that these experimentally proven 5'-noncoding region (5'-NcR) homologous DNA sequences could be contained in the extrachromosomal circular DNA (eccDNA) fraction as part of the whole cellular DNA. Methods: Home-made polymerase chain reaction (PcR) with whole cellular and isolated eccDNA, nucleotide basic local alignment search tool (BLASTn) alignments, and tests for patterns of methylation in selected sequence sections were performed. Results: The PcR tests revealed DNA sequences of up to 320 bp that broadly matched the corresponding sequence sections of known HcV genotypes. In contrast, BLASTn alignment searches of published HcV 5'-NcR sequences with human genome databases revealed only sequence segments of up to 36 bp of the 5'-NcR. The composition of these sequences shows missing base pairs, base pair mismatches as well as complete homology with HcV reference sequences. These short sequence sections are present in numerous copies on both the same and different chromosomes. The selected sequence region within the DNA sequences of the 5'-NcR revealed a broad diversity of individual patterns of methylation. conclusions: The experimental results confirm our assumption that parts of the HcV 5'-NcR genomic RNA sequences are present at the DNA level in the eccDNA fraction of PBMcs. The tests for methylation patterns therein revealed individual methylomes which could represent an epigenetic feature. The respective sequence section might be subject to genetic regulation.

Objective:Due to the many negative properties of sodium hypochlorite used in current root canal treatment,interest in biocompatible natural agents is increasing day by *** aim of this study was to evaluate whether various extract solutions of Sapindus mukorossi have dissolution effects on human pulp ***:Primarily powder extracts were obtained by extracting fruit shells of *** in different solvents(ethanol,methanol,buthanol and distilled water).The test solutions were prepared and randomly separated into six groups with 10 samples in each group:ethanol extract,methanol extract,butanol extract,distilled water extract of ***,sodium hypochlorite(Na Ocl)and the control *** these,*** extracts were separated into two subgroups,depending on their concentration level(50μg/m L and 100μg/m L).The pulp tissues of freshly extracted human molars were used for dissolution *** weights of the pulpal tissues were measured and recorded for two times after the samples were placed in the *** analysis for all descriptive statistics was performed using SPSS 22(Percent yield of preparation was obtained in methanol extract of *** all of the groups,the best dissolution capacity was seen in the Na Ocl group(positive control group).Among *** groups,the best tissue solvent solution was found in SMM group at 50μg/m L and SMB group at 100μg/m ***:The different extracts of *** had a capacity to dissolve pulp tissue but this capacity was less than Na ***,further studies will enable the creation of a commercial solution for clinical use by increasing the effectiveness of *** while combining it with other endodontic irrigation solutions.
