A Comparative Study of Methods for Delineating Sphere of Urban Influence: A Case Study on Central China

A number of urban and regional plans have been developed with the advancement of urbanization and regional integration, among which the delineation of sphere of urban influence and improvement of integration between the city and its hinterland have be- come vital important for guiding practices. In terms of delineating sphere of urban influence, existing studies have been focused on static study by using single year data or single method, resulting in a lack of time-series longitudinal analysis or comprehensive analysis based on multiple methods This study emphasizes on comparing two methods from both the theoretical and empirical perspective. Both gravity model and improwd field model are applied to the selected study area for measurements and comparison, to explore their strengths and weaknesses. A research framework for comprehensive analysis on delineating sphere of urban influence is proposed. In the end, the differences of deli：aeating methods are illustrated and the feasibility of comprehensive analysis is discussed. Recommendations are provided for selecting appropriate methods for delineating sphere of urban influence or developing regional hierarchy system plans and urban spatial structure schemes.

High concentration particulate matter(PM)has been a serious environmental problem in China and other devel-oping ***-based purification technology is a method to remove airborne particles,and can reduce the energy consumption of ventilation fans in buildings because of its low pressure *** this study,we developed a new pin-to-plate corona discharger with particle-free external air protection to prevent particles polluting the surface of discharge *** using an optical microscope,we observed a certain number of parti-cles deposited on the non-protected(exposed pins)and few particles deposited on the protected pins after they operating for 3 *** experimentally studied the long-term performances of the exposed and protected pins in single-pass PM removal efficiency and ozone *** results showed that the protected pins produce less ozone and have higher breakdown voltage than the exposed *** results indicated that the im-proved pin-to-plate corona discharger has better long-term performance and is safer than the exposed *** results of the research can give an understanding of how to improve electrostatic-based purification technologies toward stable discharging for high removal efficiency of particles.

Substantially glazed facades are extensively used in contemporary high-rise buildings to achieve attractive architectural *** conflicts exist among architectural aesthetics,building energy consumption,and solar energy harvesting for glazed *** this study,we addressed these conflicts by introducing a new dynamic and vertical photovoltaic integrated building envelope(dvPVBE)that offers extraordinary flexibility with weather-responsive slat angles and blind positions,superior architectural aesthetics,and notable energy-saving *** hierarchical control strategies were proposed for different scenarios of the dvPVBE:power generation priority(PGP),natural daylight priority(NDP),and energy-saving priority(ESP).Moreover,the PGP and ESP strategies were further analyzed in the simulation of a *** office room integrated with a dvPVBE was modeled using *** influence of the dvPVBE in improving the building energy efficiency and corresponding optimal slat angles was investigated under the PGP and ESP control *** results indicate that the application of dvPVBEs in Beijing can provide up to 131%of the annual energy demand of office rooms and significantly increase the annual net energy output by at least 226%compared with static photovoltaic(PV)*** concept of this novel dvPVBE offers a viable approach by which the thermal load,daylight penetration,and energy generation can be effectively regulated.

北京冬季某静电净化器新风净化性能研究

对北京冬季(2015年11月至2016年1月)某静电净化器新风净化性能进行了连续2个月的性能测试。主要研究了积尘前后对0.01～5μm粒径颗粒物的净化效果;在不同室外环境下测试了积尘前后的臭氧产生情况,分析了臭氧超标原因;研究了初始未积尘的静电净化器在2个月内连续净化新风时效率的衰减情况。结果表明:该静电净化器净化效率受集尘板积尘和环境颗粒物浓度影响,集尘板积尘时效率下降,且环境颗粒物浓度越低,净化效率随时间下降越快。新风温度较低(160μg/m3)时,产生的臭氧增多。根据实测结果给出了使用静电净化器的注意事项。

In the context of global efforts to reduce carbon(C)emissions,several studies have examined the effects of agricultural practices such as straw returning and fertilization on C sequestration by ***,our understanding of the specific microbial groups and their roles in long-term C increase remains *** this study,a 36-year(1984-2020)farmland experiment was conducted to investigate the impact of bacterial C metabolism on the augmentation of organic C in a Typic Hapludoll(Mollisol)in the black soil region of Jilin Province,Northeast *** results demonstrated a noteworthy increase in the diversity of microorganisms in the farmland as a result of long-term straw returning and application of mixed chemical ***,by examining the functions of microorganisms involved in C metabolism,it was observed that the effects of fertilization on C metabolism were relatively *** consistency was attributed to a deterministic competitive exclusion process,which minimized the differences between treatment *** the other hand,the influence of straw addition on C metabolism appeared to follow a more random *** changes in microbial activity were closely linked to the downregulation of core metabolic pathways related to C ***,long-term fertilization had a negative impact on soil organic C levels,while long-term straw returning plus fertilization resulted in a positive increase in soil organic *** findings have important implications for enhancing soil organic C and grain yield in the regions with typical black soil.

Myocarditis is an inflammatory disease of the cardiac muscle and one of the primary causes of dilated *** B coxsackievirus(CVB)is one of the leading causative pathogens of viral myocarditis,which primarily affects children and young *** to the lack of vaccines,the development of antiviral medicines is crucial to controlling CVB infection and the progression of *** this study,we investigated the antiviral effect of baicalein,a flavonoid extracted from Scutellaria *** results demonstrated that baicalein treatment significantly reduced cytopathic effect and increased cell viability in CVB3-infected *** addition,significant reductions in viral protein 3D,viral RNA,and viral particles were observed in CVB3-infected cells treated with *** found that baicalein exerted its inhibitory effect in the early stages of CVB3 *** also suppressed viral replication in the myocardium and effectively alleviated myocarditis induced by CVB3 *** study revealed that baicalein exerts its antiviral effect by inhibiting the activity of caspase-1 and viral protease *** together,our findings demonstrate that baicalein has antiviral activity against CVB3 infection and may serve as a potential therapeutic option for the myocarditis caused by enterovirus infection.

Zn–Ca–Al mixed oxide as efficient catalyst for synthesis of propylene carbonate from urea and 1,2-propylene glycol

A series of Zn–Ca–Al oxides with different CaO and ZnO contents have been prepared and evaluated in the synthesis of propylene carbonate(PC) from 1,2-propylene glycol(PG) and urea in a batch reactor. The effect of catalyst composition, basicity and reaction process parameters such as temperature, catalyst dose, molar ratio of PG to urea, purge gas flow and reaction time has been studied to find suitable reaction conditions for the PC synthesis. The PC selectivity and yield under the desired conditions could reach 98.4% and 90.8%, respectively. The best performing catalyst also exhibited a good reusability without appreciable loss in the PC selectivity and yield after five consecutive reaction runs. In addition, a stepwise reaction pathway involving a 2-hydroxypropyl carbamate intermediate was proposed for the urea alcoholysis to PC in the presence of Zn–Ca–Al catalysts, according to the time dependences of reaction intermediates and products.

背景:研究发现铁死亡相关基因在类风湿关节炎的发病机制中占据重要地位,但目前尚缺乏关于类风湿关节炎铁死亡特征基因的免疫表现及CeRNA互作网络的构建,而机器学习作为生物信息学中强大的特征基因选择算法能更精确地筛选出在类风湿关节炎发病机制中占主导地位的铁死亡特征基因。目的:利用生物信息学与机器学习方法筛选类风湿关节炎铁死亡特征基因,并分析铁死亡特征基因与免疫浸润的相关性及铁死亡特征基因CeRNA的网络构建。方法:从GEO数据库获取与类风湿关节炎相关的芯片,利用R语言提取铁死亡相关基因及其差异基因表达;使用机器学习方法对差异基因进行筛选,即运用LASSO回归与SVM-RFE方法进行特征基因筛选,对两者过滤后的基因进行再次交集,最终得到类风湿关节炎的特征基因,运用ROC曲线评估筛选后的疾病特征基因诊断疾病的准确性;利用CIBERSORT算法分析类风湿关节炎与正常滑膜组织的免疫浸润情况,并分析铁死亡特征基因与免疫细胞的相关性,最后构建类风湿关节炎铁死亡疾病特征基因的CeRNA网络并对疾病特征基因进行验证。结果与结论:①得到与类风湿关节炎相关铁死亡基因150个,其中55个上调基因,95个下调基因;②GO与KEGG富集分析分别得到18个GO显著相关条目与30个KEGG条目,主要涉及金属离子稳态、有铁离子稳态与氧化应激反应等;③机器学习分析最终获得疾病特征基因GABARAPL1、SAT1;④GSEA分析发现脂肪细胞因子信号通路、药物代谢细胞色素P450、脂肪酸代谢、PPAR信号通路、酪氨酸代谢主要集中在GABARAPL1高表达时,趋化因子信号通路、肠道免疫网络对IGA产生的影响主要集中在SAT1高表达时;⑤免疫浸润分析发现类风湿关节炎与9种免疫细胞与正常组织存在明显差异,其中浆细胞、T细胞CD8、T细胞滤泡辅助器在疾病组中为高表达状态,其余为低表达。单基因与免疫细胞相关性分析发现GABARAPL1在树突状静息细胞、激活的NK细胞、巨噬细胞M1等为正相关,其中与树突状静息细胞的相关性最为显著,SAT1与T细胞CD4与γδT细胞为正相关,与NK静息细胞为负相关;⑥GSVA分析发现抗坏血酸和醛酸代谢在SAT1表现为上调的基因高表达水平时候为上调,而B细胞受体信号通路、TOLL样受体信号通路、T细胞受体信号通路、自然杀伤细胞介导的细胞毒性等表现为下调,PPAR信号通路、烟酸盐和烟酰胺的代谢、色氨酸代谢、脂肪酸代谢、类固醇生物合成等在GABARAPL1表现为下调趋势;⑦60种长链非编码RNA可能在导致类风湿关节炎发展过程中发挥关键作用。提示:类风湿关节炎的发生与类风湿关节炎铁死亡疾病特征基因的异常表达显著相关,特征基因通过影响相关信号通路诱导疾病的发生发展,并通过对类风湿关节炎相关长链非编码RNA介导的ceRNA网络进行分析,识别出潜在的治疗靶点及信号通路,为进一步阐明其发病机制,并为后续的实验研究提供参考依据。
