The equilibrium configuration of a solid strange star in the final inspiral phase with another compact object is generally discussed,and the starquake-related issue is revisited,for a special purpose to understand the precursor emission of binary compact star merger events(e.g.,that of GRB211211A).As the binary system inspirals inward due to gravitational wave radiation,the ellipticity of the solid strangeon star increases due to the growing tidal field of its compact *** energy is hence accumulated during the inspiral stage which might trigger a starquake before the merger when the energy exceeds a critical *** energy released during such starquakes is calculated and compared to the precursor observation of GRB211211 *** result shows that the energy might be insufficient for binary strangeon-star case unless the entire solid strangeon star shatters,and hence favors a black hole-strangeon star scenario for *** timescale of the precursor as well as the frequency of the observed quasi-periodic-oscillation have also been discussed in the starquake model.

1 Introduction Under real-world haze conditions,the existence of haze particles in the atmosphere reduces the visibility of captured ***,the noise is inevitably introduced into the degraded image,which further deteriorates the visual quality of the *** enhance the visibility and quality of outdoor real-world hazy images,numerous algorithms have been proposed to remove haze from a single input *** existing methods are broadly lumped into two categories:prior-based methods[1,2]and learning-based methods[3–6].Unfortunately,the widely used atmospheric scattering model and the corresponding haze removal methods fail to take the noise interference into account,which may result in poor visibility restoration performance.

The state equation for strangeon matter is very stiff due to the non-relativistic nature of its particles and their repulsive interaction,such that pulsar masses as high as～3 M_⊙ would be expected. However, an adiabatic sound speed, c_s=(?P/?ρ)～(1/2), is usually superluminal in strangeon matter, and the dynamic response of a strangeon star(e.g., binary merger) is not tractable in numerical simulations. In this study, we examined signal propagation in strangeon matter and calculate the actual propagation speed, c_(signal).We found that the causality condition, c_(signal)< c, is satisfied and the signal speed is presented as a function of stellar radius.

Background In the modern sheep production systems,the reproductive performance of ewes determines the economic profitability of *** the genetic mechanisms underlying differences in the litter size is important for the selection and breeding of highly prolific *** sheep,a high-quality Chinese sheep breed,is known for its high fecundity and is often used as a model to study prolificacy *** the current study,animals were divided into two groups according to their delivery rates in three consecutive lambing seasons(namely,the high and low reproductive groups with≥3 lambs and one lamb per season,n=3,respectively).The ewes were slaughtered within 12 h of estrus,and unilateral ovarian tissues were collected and analyzed by 10×Genomics single-cell RNA *** A total of 5 types of somatic cells were identified and corresponding expression profiles were mapped in the ovaries of each ***,the differences in the ovary somatic cell expression profiles between the high and low reproductive groups were mainly clustered in the granulosa ***,four granulosa cell subtypes were *** analysis revealed that the abundance of JPH1 expression and the reduction of LOC101112291 expression could lead to different evolutionary directions of the granulosa ***,the expression levels of FTH1 and FTL in mural granulosa cells of the highly reproductive group were significantly *** genes inhibit necroptosis and ferroptosis of mural granulosa cells,which helps prevent follicular *** This study provides insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying the high fecundity of Hu *** differences in gene expression profiles,particularly in the granulosa cells,suggest that these cells play a critical role in female *** findings also highlight the importance of genes such as JPH1,LOC101112291,FTH1,and FTL in regulating granulosa cell function and follicular development.

The long-range periodically ordered atomic structures in intermetallic nanoparticles(INPs)can significantly enhance both the electrocatalytic activity and electrochemical stability toward the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)compared to the disordered atomic structures in ordinary solid-solution alloy ***,through a facile and scalable synthetic method,a series of carbon-supported ultrafine Pt_3Co_(x)Mn_(1-x)ternary INPs are prepared in this work,which possess the"skin-like"ultrathin Pt shells,the ordered L1_(2) atomic structure,and the high-even dispersion on supports(L1_(2)-Pt_3Co_(x)Mn_(1-x)/~SPt INPs/C).Electrochemical results present that the composition-optimized L1_(2)-Pt_3Co_(0.7)Mn_(0.3)/~SPt INPs/C exhibits the highest electrocata lytic activity among the series,which are also much better than those of the pristine ultrafine Pt/***,it also has a greatly enhanced electrochemical *** addition,the effects of annealing temperature and time are further *** importantly,such superior ORR electrocatalytic performance of L1_(2)-Pt_3Co_(0.7)Mn_(0.3)/~SPt INPs/C are also well demonstrated in practical fuel *** characterization analyses further reveal the major origins of the greatly enhanced ORR electrocata lytic performance:the Pt-Co-Mn alloy-induced geometric and ligand effects as well as the extremely high L1_(2) atomic-ordering *** work not only successfully develops a highly active and stable ordered ternary intermetallic ORR electrocatalyst,but also elucidates the corresponding"structure-function"relationship,which can be further applied in designing other intermetallic(electro)catalysts.

The Hot Universe Baryon Surveyor(HUBS) is a proposed space-based X-ray telescope for detecting X-ray emissions from the hot gas content in our universe. With its unprecedented spatially-resolved high-resolution spectroscopy and large field of view,the HUBS mission will be uniquely qualified to measure the physical and chemical properties of the hot gas in the interstellar medium, the circumgalactic medium, the intergalactic medium, and the intracluster medium. These measurements will be valuable for two key scientific goals of HUBS, namely to unravel the AGN and stellar feedback physics that governs the formation and evolution of galaxies, and to probe the baryon budget and multi-phase states from galactic to cosmological scales. In addition to these two goals, the HUBS mission will also help us solve some problems in the fields of galaxy clusters, AGNs, difuse X-ray backgrounds, supernova remnants, and compact objects. This paper discusses the perspective of advancing these fields using the HUBS telescope.

探索强引力场情形下致密物质的存在形式伴随着人类认识和发展量子论与引力论的历程, 也是当今天文学和物理学领域的热点话题.主序恒星耗尽自身核能源后将会残留这类物质构成的致密天体, 进而为多信使天文学提供可靠的观测目标.若致密天体的质量不够大、自引力不足以强到塌缩成黑洞, 则星核所有原子核可能会挤成一团而表现为“巨核", 即观测到的脉冲星.限于低能强相互作用的认识, 虽然尚未定论这类极致密物质的本质, 但是有明确的观测证据表明丰富的极端天体物理事件(如伽马射线暴、快速射电暴等)跟巨核紧密相关.值得注意的是, 脉冲星往往具有固态的组成部分, 在内部应力积累达到某个临界值时将会自然地发生星震.这一事件很可能跟地震类似, 并诱发天体的剧烈活动.在回顾了致密星的研究历史和争议后, 本文简述地震现象, 探讨地震与星震的相似性, 进而介绍与脉冲星相关的众多观测现象以及星震的理论模型, 最后总结并展望相关研究的未来.希望此文能够促进地震学和天体物理学的交叉融合, 期待借助于更高精度多信使天文观测最终揭晓巨核的本质, 从而加深关于低能强力的理解.

基于有向无环图(DAG)的图式区块链能够显著提升系统性能,已成为近年来业界的研究热点。相较于传统串行化的链式区块链,图式区块链可在单位时间内并发处理大量事务从而提升吞吐量。随着事务量的激增,图式区块链面临事务执行效率低的瓶颈问题,即海量事务执行对状态数据访问的需求大幅增加,导致高昂的输入/输出(I/O)开销。实现低I/O访问主要包括两方面的全新挑战:一方面,图式区块链若直接采用传统的事务预取机制,将因执行逻辑不一致引入大量的陈旧读;另一方面,针对不同账户的状态访问会在默克尔树的高层节点中造成重复的I/O开销。为此,本文设计基于流水线的图式区块链高效事务执行机制—ErlangShen,包括Epoch粒度的状态预取机制和默克尔高层路径缓存机制来分别减少陈旧读的数量和重复的I/O开销。具体而言,ErlangShen充分分析并利用了事务访问频次的冷热特征,将访问热事务的逻辑执行与冷事务的状态预取并行化,以避免状态预取对事务执行的影响。此外,为了进一步提升事务执行的吞吐量,根据访问冷热状态事务的特性设计了定制化的并发控制方法。实验结果表明,ErlangShen机制能够减少约90%的陈旧读数量,与最新图式区块链事务处理机制Nezha相比,可将性能提升3~4倍。
