People who are deaf or have difficulty speaking use sign language,which consists of hand gestures with particular motions that symbolize the“language”they are communicating.A gesture in a sign language is a particular movement of the hands with a specific shape from the fingers and whole *** this paper,we present an Intelligent for Deaf/Dumb People approach in real time based on Deep Learning using Gloves(IDLG).The approach IDLG offers scientific contributions based deep-learning,a multimode command techniques,real-time,and effective use,and high accuracy *** this purpose,smart gloves working in real time were *** data obtained from the gloves was processed using deep-learning-based approaches and classified multi-mode commands that allow dumb people to speak with regular people via their smart ***,the glove has five flex sensors and an accelerometer using to achieve Low-Cost Control *** flex sensor generates a proportional change in resistance for each individual *** processing of these hand gestures is in Atmega32A Microcontroller which is an advance version of the microcontroller and the lab view *** compares the input signal to memory-stored specified voltage *** performance of the IDLG approach was verified on a dataset created using different hand gestures from 20 different *** the test using the IDLG approach on 10,000 data points,process time performance of milliseconds was achieved with 97%accuracy.

Synthesis of zinc oxide nanoparticles (Zn-NPs) via green method is an outstanding alternative to conventional/regular methods; however， the safety or toxicity of the biosynthesized ZnO-NPs in vivo is not fully explored. This study was conducted to evaluate the protective efficiency of cinnamaldehyde-loaded chitosan nanoparticles (Cin@CSNPs) against oxidative damage and genotoxicity of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO-NPs) in mice. ZnO-NPs were biosynthesized using the extract of fresh leaves of Mentha pulegium L. Cin was extracted from cinnamon essential oil， and was loaded into chitosan nanoparticle (Cin@CSNPs). Both ZnO-NPs， Cin@CSNPs and CSNPs were characterized. The in vitro release of Cin@CSNPs was determined. In the biological study， 6 groups of male Balb/c mice were treated by gavage for 3 weeks as follows， control group， the group received ZnO-NPs (25 mg/kg b.w)， the groups received Cin@CSNPs at low dose (50 mg/kg b.w) or high dose (100 mg/kg b.w)， and the groups received ZnO-NPs plus Cin@CSNPs at the two tested doses. Blood and tissue samples were collected for different biochemical， genetical and histological studies. The particle size of ZnO-NPs， CSNPs， and Cin@CSNPs were (20.78 ± 2.6)， (170.0 ± 3.7)， and (218.23 ± 2.9) nm， and ξ-potential were (32.7 ± 4.6)， (8.32 ± 0.27) and (4.8 ± 0.21)， respectively. ZnO-NPs disturbed the biochemical and oxidative stress indices， AFP， CEA， TNF-α， chromosomal aberrations in somatic and germ cells， and sperm abnormality along with severe pathological changes in the hepatic， renal， and testicular tissues. Cin@CSNPs improved significantly all the parameters tested and the histological picture in a dose-dependent. Therefore， the biosynthesized ZnO-NPs exhibit oxidative damage and genotoxicity， and Cin@CSNPs have potential protective effects against the risks of ZnO-NPs and may be a promising tool to overcome the challenges of using Cin in food and pharmaceuticals applications.

Objective Male breast cancer （MBC） is a rare disease representing less than 1% of all malignancies. The objective of the study is to report clinicopathological characteristics, treatment patterns, and outcomes of MBC in Mansoura University Hospital, Egypt. Methods This retrospective study focused on male breast cancer patients during 10 years （2000-2009）. The studied variables were data regarding general characteristics of patients, treatment modalities and survival. Results The series included 37 patients （0.8% of all breast cancer）. The median age was 57.7 years （range： 26-86 years）. The main clinical complaint was a mass beneath the areola ill 94.5% of the cases. Most patients had a locally advanced disease. 94.5% of tumors were invasive duct carcinomas. The treatment was essentially surgery in 91.8%, followed by adjuvant radiotherapy （in 89.2%）, hormonal therapy （in 56.7%） and chemotherapy （in 91.8%）. Follow-up period ranged from 6-115 months. Local recurrence occurred in 4 cases and metastasis in 11 cases. The 2-year and 5-year overall survival （OS） rates were 81.6% and 60.5%, respectively. The 2-year and 5-year disease-free survival （DFS） rates were 68.4%, and 52.6%, respectively. OS was not significantly affected by any of the studied parameters. Factors influencing DFS were： T stage （P=0.05）, positive lymph nodes （P=0.043）, metastasis （P=0.004）, and chemotherapy （1＇=0.046）. Conclusions MBC is a rare disease and often diagnosed at a locally advanced stage. The management of male and female breast carcinoma is identical. Future research for better understanding of this disease is needed to improve the management and prognosis of male breast cancer patients.

Background:Population-based studies on the determinants of COVID-19 seroprevalence constitute a cornerstone in guiding appropriate preventive *** studies are scarce in Egypt,thus we conducted this study to explore risk factors for SARS-CoV-2 ***:This survey included 2919 participants from 10 Egyptian *** were tested for SARS-CoV-2 spike(S)and nucleocapsid(N)*** and multivariate analyses were performed to identify associated factors and predictors of seropositivity regarding sociodemographic factors,clinical data,and personal practices of participants.A subgroup analysis was performed to investigate the occupational risks of ***:Seropositivity was recorded in 1564 participants(53.6%).Independent predictors of seropositivity in-cluded non-smokers(aOR=1.817;95%CI:1.407-2.346,p=0.000),having blood group A(aOR=1.231;95%CI:1.016-1.493,p=0.034),a history of COVID-19 infection(aOR=2.997;95%CI:2.176-4.127,p=0.000),COVID-19 vaccination(aOR=4.349;95%CI:2.798-6.759,p=0.000),higher crowding index(aOR=1.229;95%CI:1.041-1.451,p=0.015),anosmia and/or ageusia(aOR=3.453;95%CI:2.661-4.481,p=0.000)and history of fever(aOR=1.269;95%CI:1.033-1.560,p=0.023).Healthcare worker and Obesity/overweight were additional significant predictors of seropositivity among the working participants(aOR=1.760;95%CI:1.301-2.381,p=0.000 and aOR=1.384;95%CI:1.059-1.808,p=0.019,respectively).Additional factors showing association with seropositivity in the univariate analysis were:female gender,age group(15-39 years),higher educational level(preparatory and above),lack of environmental disinfection and having roommates at the *** was a positive correlation between the titers of both *** was weakly corre-lated with anti-S titer,while anti-N was significantly correlated with the number of protective measures applied by the *** antibodies were significantly correlated with adult BMI,while both we

Nickel Titanium alloy (Nitinol) is characterized by its good mechanical properties, good damping properties in addition to its distinctive shape-memory effect and superelasticity effect besides its great bio-mechanical compatibility and corrosion resistance. These properties have empowered its applications, particularly within the bio-medical and aerospace industry. Despite these exceptional properties, the manufacturing of Nitinol by conventional methods is exceptionally troublesome and costly and consequently must be inspected. Therefore, additive manufacturing specifically laser-based ones were used recently. In this research, the effect of processing parameters of laser cladding/laser direct deposition on Nitinol’s Microstructure, Hardness and Clad Dimensions was evaluated. Systematic characterization of Nitinol samples was done utilizing Optical Microscopy and Vickers hardness tester. Samples of Nitinol were synthesized with different processing parameters using laser cladding and its properties were investigated and compared to one another to get the optimum processing parameters to synthesize a near net shape, fully dense Nitinol component with reliable properties. The results showed that there’s a processing parameter window at which the alloy possesses its best mechanical and functional properties which were of Laser power of value 1.25 Kw, Scan speed of 1.5 m/min and powder deposition rate of 1.5/1.5 RPM, these conditions resulted in the formation of martensite phase which is responsible for its functional properties with 40% volume fraction and a hardness value of 598 HV.

Hepatobiliary manifestations in children with inflammatory bowel disease:A single-center experience in a low/middle income country

BACKGROUNDThere has been a worldwide increase in the reported incidence of inflammatorybowel disease (IBD) in children over the past 2-3 decades. The hepatobiliary (HB)manifestations of IBD have been well-studied in children in industrialized anddeveloped countries but are infrequently reported in low- and middle-incomecountries (LMIC) such as *** determine the prevalence of the HB manifestations in a cohort of Egyptianchildren with *** cross-sectional observational study was carried out over a period of 6 mo(between June 2013 to December 2013, at the Paediatric Hepatology andGastroenterology Units of Cairo University Children's Hospital, which is thelargest paediatric tertiary care centre in the *** study included 48 patients with confirmed IBD based upon clinical,laboratory, endoscopic and histopathological features, 29 (60.4%) were ***-four patients (50%) had ulcerative colitis (UC), 11 (22.9%) had Crohn'sdisease (CD) and 13 (27.1%) had unclassified-IBD (IBD-U), which was formerlyknown as indeterminate colitis. The mean age of the patients at the time ofpresentation was 8.14 (± SD 4.02) years and the mean age at the time of studyenrolment was 10.16 (± SD 4.19) years. All patients were screened for HBmanifestations by physical examination, liver function tests, imaging and liver biopsy when indicated. HB disorders were confirmed in 13 patients (27.1%).Transaminases were elevated in 3 patients (6.3%). Two patients (4.2%) hadelevated biliary enzymes (one was diagnosed as primary sclerosing cholangitis(PSC) and the other was diagnosed with PSC/autoimmune hepatitis overlapsyndrome and the third patient had hepatitis C virus infection. Introduction: This study was done to evaluate other oral hypoglycemic medications;especially the new ones in the management of PCOS patients as alternatives to the standard medication used for this purpose Metformin. Patients and Methods: 105 patients were enrolled and randomly distributed into 3 groups according to sequence of computer-generated block-random numbers. Each group included 35 patients. This randomized double blind case controlled study was conducted at Tanta University Hospital from December 1, 2015 to October, 1, 2016. In group A (study group 1) the patients received Pioglitazobe 30 mg once a day for 6 months while in group B (study group 2) the patients received Vildagliptin 50 mg once daily. In Group C (control group) the patients received Metformin 500 mg tds. for 6 months. The clinical outcome measures of the study were the improvement in the regularity of the menstrual cycle, the BMI and the improvement in the modified Ferriman-Gallwey (F-G) score for hirsutism. The biochemical outcome measures will be the change in the Serum Free testosterone, dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), fasting insulin level, Glcosylated hemoglobin (Hb A1c) and fasting Low Density Lipoproteins (LDL) levels. Results: Pioglitazobe in the study group 1 patients showed a significant reduction of BMI (p = 0.016), Ferriman-Gallwey score (p = 0.003), free testosterone level (p = 0.003), DHEA level (p = 0.001), fasting insulin level (p = 0.036) and Hb a1c level (p = 0.000), and also significant reduction of menstrual irregularities (p = 0.035). When compared to Metformin in the control group 3, there were significant reduction of BMI (p = 0.010), Ferriman-Gallwey score (p = 0.002), free testosterone level (p = 0.034), Hb a1c (p = 0.000) level and significant reduction of menstrual irregularities (p = 0.004) only.
