Low drug loading efficiency is one of the main obstacles hindering the application of contact lenses(CLs) as the carrier for extended ocular drug delivery. Here in this study, a simple and effective drug loading method based on salt induced modulation was proposed and demonstrated with mechanism elucidation. First of all, using poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate)(p-HEMA) as the contact lens material, betaxolol hydrochloride, Diclofenac Sodium and Betaxolol Base as the model drugs with different solubility, influence of salt concentration,salt type(sodium salts of sulfate, chloride, and sulfocyanate) and drug properties in the loading solution on drug loading efficiency was investigated. Mechanism of enhanced drug loading in contact lens was further explored via studying the influence of salt on the absorption isotherm, drug solubility and water content of CLs. Applicability of this method to other CLs materials was also investigated. It was demonstrated that adjusting the ionic strength of loading solutions resulted in significant increase of drug loading in CLs. Type and concentration of the salts and solubility of the drug were the main factors influencing enhancement ratio of drug loading. The mechanism for improved drug loading was related to the reduced drug solubility in loading solutions and the reduced bound water content in contact lenses. Modulation of drug loading by adjusting ionic strength was also applicable to other CLs and the light transmittance was not affected. This method was more suitable for salt-form drugs with high solubility. In summary, adjusting ionic strength of loading solution is an economical and effective way to improve drug loading in CLs, and this simple method may also find application in other hydrogel based drug delivery systems.

Recently, more and more interest has been focused on zirconia and its characteristics. In this paper, aluminum can be successfully incorporated into nano-ZrO2 via a cationic surfactant assisted route in the earlier preparation procedure. XRD, TEM, EDS, Uv-vis and N2 adsorption-desorption analysis methods were adopted for the characterization of prepared samples. The results show that aluminum has been homogeneously incorporated into nano-ZrO2. The prepared aluminum-doped samples show a distinctive blue shift in the Uv-vis spectra compared to normal nano-ZrO2. The distinctive increase of thermal stability and a mesoporous structure were observed.

Using the velocity fields of 28 GPS sites in China and its contiguous area and International Terrestrial Reference Frame ITRF96, an initial tectonic block motion model of China was established. The model was quite consistent with those obtained from the geologic data. The model could show the sketch of China crustal horizontal motion.

In this paper, a model predictive control(MPC)framework is proposed for finite-time stabilization of linear and nonlinear discrete-time systems subject to state and control constraints. The proposed MPC framework guarantees the finite-time convergence property by assigning the control horizon equal to the dimension of the overall system, and only penalizing the terminal cost in the optimization, where the stage costs are not penalized explicitly. A terminal inequality constraint is added to guarantee the feasibility and stability of the closed-loop *** feasibility can be improved via augmentation. The finite-time convergence of the proposed MPC is proved theoretically,and is supported by simulation examples.

Detecting and characterizing Total Electron Content(TEC)depletion is important for studying the ionospheric threat due to the Equatorial Plasma Bubble(EPB)when applying the Ground-Based Augmentation System(GBAS)at low *** paper develops a robust method to automatically identify TEC depletion and derive its *** rolling barrel algorithm is used to automatically identify the TEC depletion candidate and its ***,the depletion candidates are screened by several improved techniques to distinguish actual depletions from other phenomena such as Traveling Ionospheric Disturbance(TID)or abnormal ***,based on the depletion signals from three triangular receivers,the method derives EPB parameters such as velocity,width and *** time lag and front velocity are calculated based on crosscorrelation using TEC depletions and the geometrical distribution of three triangular *** width and gradient of slope are then determined by using TEC depletion from a single *** comparison,both the station-pair method and proposed method depend on the assumption that the EPB morphology is frozen during the short time when the plasma bubble moves between the ***,our method relaxes the restriction that the baseline length should be shorter than the width of slope required by the *** relaxation is favorable for studying small-scale slope of depletions using stations of a longer *** addition,the accuracy of the width and gradient is free of impact from hardware biases and small-scale disturbance,as it is based only on the relative TEC *** method is demonstrated by processing Global Positioning System(GPS)and Bei Dou Navigation Satellite System(BDS)data on 15 August,2018,in a solar minimum cycle.

Audio resources are a very important part of multimedia *** classification effect of audio is directly related to the service mode of personal resource management *** present,vector features have been widely used in audio classification ***,some semantic correlations among different audio information can not be completely expressed by simple vector *** are multidimensional matrices,and their mathematical expansion and application can express multi-semantic *** tensor uniform content locator(TUCL) is proposed as a means of expressing the semantic information of audio,and a three-order tensor semantic space is constructed according to the semantic *** semantic dispersion(TSD) can aggregate some audio resources with the same semantics and,at the same time,its automatic classification can be accomplished by calculating the *** order to effectively utilize TSD classification information,a radial basis function tensor neural network(RBFTNN) is constructed and used to train an intelligent learning *** results show that the tensor model can significantly improve the classification precision under multi-semantic classification requests within an information resource management system.

Fractal-like Kinetic Characteristics of Coalbed Methane Hydrate Dissociation at Normal Pressure

Surface modality of coalbed methane hydrate and fractal-like kinetic characteristics of the hydrate dissociation at normal pressure have been studied by using fractal geometry theory. The results show that the surface modality of coalbed methane hydrate has fractal characteristic, and the dissociation kinetics of coalbed methane hydrate is fractal-like. Moreover, a new kinetic model for coalbed methane hydrate dissociation was proposed, and its reliability was validated.
