BACKgROUND:Xuebijing(XBJ)can alleviate the inflammatory response,improve organ function,and shorten the intensive care unit(ICU)stay in patients with pyogenic liver abscess(PLA)complicated with sepsis,but the molecular mechanisms have not been *** study aimed to explore the molecular mechanism of XBJ in treating PLA complicated with sepsis using a network pharmacology ***:The active ingredients and targets of XBJ were retrieved from the ETCM *** targets related to PLA and sepsis were retrieved from the geneCards,PharmgKB,Disgenet,Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man(OMIM),Therapeutic Targets Database(TTD),and DrugBank *** targets of PLA complicated with sepsis were mapped to the targets of XBJ to identify potential treatment ***-protein interaction networks were analyzed using the STRINg *** treatment targets were imported into the Metascape platform for gene Ontology(gO)functional enrichment and Kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes(KEgg)pathway enrichment *** docking was performed to validate the interactions between active ingredients and core ***:XBJ was found to have 54 potential treatment targets for PLA complicated with ***-1β(IL-1β),interleukin-6(IL-6),and tumor necrosis factor(TNF)were identifi ed as core *** enrichment analysis revealed important pathways,including the interleukin-17(IL-17)signaling pathway,the TNF signaling pathway,the nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-κB)signaling pathway,and the Toll-like receptor(TLR)signaling *** docking experiments indicated stable binding between XBJ active ingredients and core ***:XBJ may exert therapeutic eff ects on PLA complicated with sepsis by modulating signaling pathways,such as the IL-17,TNF,NF-κB,and TLR pathways,and targeting IL-1β,IL-6,and TNF.

The medium-temperature T dependence of the jet transport coefficient̂q was studied via the nuclear modification factor RAA(p_(T))and elliptical flow parameter v_(2)(p_(T))for large transverse momentum p_(T) hadrons in high-energy nucleus-nucleus *** a next-to-leading-order perturbative QCD parton model for hard scatterings with modified fragmentation functions due to jet quenching controlled by q,we check the suppression and azimuthal anisotropy for large p_(T) hadrons,and extract q by global fits to RAA(pT)and v_(2)(pT)data in A+A collisions at RHIC and LHC,*** numerical results from the best fits show that q∕T^(3) goes down with local medium-temperature T in the parton jet *** with the case of a constant q∕T^(3),the going-down T dependence of q∕T^(3) makes a hard parton jet to lose more energy near T_(c) and therefore strengthens the azimuthal anisotropy for large pT *** a result,v_(2)(p_(T))for large pT hadrons was enhanced by approximately 10%to better fit the data at RHIC/*** the first-order phase transition from QgP to the hadron phase and the additional energy loss in the hadron phase,v_(2)(p_(T))is again enhanced by 5-10%at RHIC/LHC.

Childhood asthma is one of the most common respiratory diseases with rising mortality and *** multi-omics data is providing a new chance to explore collaborative biomarkers and corresponding diagnostic models of childhood *** capture the nonlinear association of multi-omics data and improve interpretability of diagnostic model,we proposed a novel deep association model(DAM)and corresponding efficient analysis ***,the Deep Subspace Reconstruction was used to fuse the omics data and diagnostic information,thereby correcting the distribution of the original omics data and reducing the influence of unnecessary data ***,the Joint Deep Semi-Negative Matrix Factorization was applied to identify different latent sample patterns and extract biomarkers from different omics data ***,our newly proposed Deep Orthogonal Canonical Correlation Analysis can rank features in the collaborative module,which are able to construct the diagnostic model considering nonlinear correlation between different omics data *** DAM,we deeply analyzed the transcriptome and methylation data of childhood *** effectiveness of DAM is verified from the perspectives of algorithm performance and biological significance on the independent test dataset,by ablation experiment and comparison with many baseline methods from clinical and biological *** DAM-induced diagnostic model can achieve a prediction AUC of o.912,which is higher than that of many other alternative ***,relevant pathways and biomarkers of childhood asthma are also recognized to be collectively altered on the gene expression and methylation *** an interpretable machine learning approach,DAM simultaneously considers the non-linear associations among samples and those among biological features,which should help explore interpretative biomarker candidates and efficient diagnostic models from multi-omics data analysis for human complexdiseases.

This paper considers the random coefficient autoregressive model with time-functional variance noises,hereafter the RCA-TFV *** first establish the consistency and asymptotic normality of the conditional least squares estimator for the constant *** semiparametric least squares estimator for the variance of the random coefficient and the nonparametric estimator for the variance function are constructed,and their asymptotic results are reported.A simulation study is presented along with an analysis of real data to assess the performance of our method in finite samples.

Relationship between dietary niacin intake and erectile dysfunction:a population-based study

Existing research on the precise link between dietary niacin intake and erectile dysfunction(ED)is ***,this study aimed to investigate the potential association between dietary niacin intake and the risk of *** logistic regression and restricted cubic splines(RCSs)were used to examine the relationship between dietary niacin intake and *** interaction analysis was performed to assess the impact of different subgroups on the study *** addition,1:1 propensity score matching(PSM)was employed to adjust for potential confounding factors,ensuring the reliability of the *** analyzed data were collected from the 2001–2004 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey(NHANES)in the *** study encompassed 3184 adults,among whom 863 participants were identified as having *** adjustments for potential confounders,the findings revealed that higher niacin intake,specifically in the highest tertile,was associated with a decreased risk of ED compared to that in the lowest tertile,showing an odds ratio(OR)of 0.56(95%confidence interval[CI]:0.37–0.85).Analysis of dose–response curves illustrated a negative correlation between dietary niacin intake and the risk of *** and interaction analyses fortified the consistency of these ***,PSM corroborated the validity of the *** study suggests an inverse association between dietary niacin intake and the risk of ***,establishing a cause-and-effect relationship remains elusive,and defining the safe threshold of niacin intake to prevent ED requires further investigation.

Zeolite imidazole skeleton(ZIF-8)is a promising option for self-cleaning of building exterior walls due to its large specific surface area,high antibacterial activity and low ***,it suffers from low antibacterial efficiency and yield under visible light *** address the issues,we developed the photocatalytic materials T-ZIF-8-TDI(thermally treated-ZIF-8-toluene 2,4-diisocyanate)by modifying ZIF-8 with thermal oxygen sensitization and chemical *** results show that the yield of T-ZIF-8-TDI photocatalytic antibacterial agent is increased to 11.5 times of that of T-ZIF-8,while maintaining the crystal structure of T-ZIF-8 and thermal stability up to 60℃.Furthermore,T-ZIF-8-TDI exhibits extended optical response range to the nearinfrared region,significantly narrowed band gap,improved photogenerated elec tron-hole separation efficiency,reduced recombination rate,and excellent photocatalytic *** the concentration of antibacterial agent is 600 mg·L^(-1),the antibacterial rate of Escherichia coli(***)reaches 99.99%irradiated by visible light for30 min,and when the concentration of antibacterial agent is 200 mg·L^(-1),the antibacterial rate of Staphylococcus aureus(***)reaches 99.99%irradiated by visible light for 25 *** also analyzed the reasons in detail from the aspects of bacterial species and antibacterial mechanism,and proposed the antibacterial mechanism of·O_(2)^(-)and h^(+)as the main active *** findings suggest that T-ZIF-8-TDI photocatalytic antibacterial agent has potential for use in self-cleaning of building exterior walls.

α-Imino metal carbenes are versatile intermediates in organic synthesis, and have broad applications in the assembly of divergent N-heterocycles. However, the catalytic enantioselective desymmetrization based on α-imino metal carbenes has not been developed to date. Herein, we disclose an enantioselective desymmetrizing C（sp2）–H functionalization of azide-ynamides via α-imino copper carbenes, leading to the efficient assembly of divergent chiral indoloazepines in generally moderate to excellent yields with high enantioselectivities. Notably, this reaction represents the first enantioselective desymmetrization based on α-imino metal carbenes. Further synthetic transformations and biological tests show the potential utility of this method. Moreover,computational studies are employed to elucidate the reaction mechanism and the origin of enantioselectivity.

This paper considers the random coefficient autoregressive model with time-functional variance noises, hereafter the RCA-TFV model. We first establish the consistency and asymptotic normality of the conditional least squares estimator for the constant coefficient. The semiparametric least squares estimator for the variance of the random coefficient and the nonparametric estimator for the variance function are constructed,and their asymptotic results are reported. A simulation study is presented along with an analysis of real data to assess the performance of our method in finite samples.
