In this editorial,we comment on the article by Ali et al published in the recent issue of the World Journal of Clinical *** case report shed light on a particularly rare manifestation of this disease-primary gastrointestinal tuberculosis(GTB)presenting as gastric outlet *** presents diagnostic challenges due to its nonspecific symptoms and lack of highly accurate diagnostic *** editorial synthesizes epidemiological data,risk factors,pathogenesis,clinical presentations,diagnostic methods,and therapies to raise awareness about *** constitutes 1%-3%of all tuberculosis cases globally,with 6%-38%of patients also having pulmonary *** involves various modes of Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex entry into the gastrointestinal system,with the terminal ileum and ileocecal valve commonly *** presentation varies,often resembling other intra-abdominal pathologies,necessitating a high index of *** tools include a combination of biochemical,microbiological,radiological,and endoscopic *** medication remains the cornerstone of treatment,supplemented by surgical intervention in severe *** management involving gastroenterologists,surgeons,pulmonologists,and infectious disease specialists is crucial for optimal *** advancements,timely diagnosis and management challenges persist,underscoring the need for continued research and collaboration in addressing primary GTB.

Turkish red pine is an important forest tree species because of its role in the ecosystem whose range includes many countries in the eastern Mediterranean *** addition,red pine is a preferred forest tree species due to rapid growth,usage in afforestation in arid areas and the production of non-wood forest products such as *** aim of the study was to examine the relationship between the productivity of red pine and ecosystem in the lower and middle belt of the Taurus Mountains,and to determine the interrelations between the productivity of red pine and *** analyses(multiple regression analysis and artificial neural networks)were used to model the efficiency(biomass production)of red *** the multivariate analyses,a productivity model of the species was created with the slope,soil depth,and precipitation in the driest variables.A significant correlation was found between site index and site factors in the driest *** variables had a statistically significant relationship with the site index in the multiple regression *** forecast power of the model was *** the methods used,the artificial neural network consisting of 2 L10 N(2 Layers 10 Neurons)had the highest margin of explanation(R^(2)=0.71)and the lowest margin of *** model has the potential to open land aimed for afforestation studies with red pine in forestry *** results will shed light on afforestation studies to be carried out in the Western Mediterranean region and in similar ecosystems.

Psychoacoustic parameters are mostly used for determining the sound quality of mechanical *** have also started to be used for evaluating soundscapes of open areas and enclosed *** research aims to find out the relationship between the psychoacoustic parameters and acoustic comfort in non-acoustic enclosed public spaces,specifically in eating *** on-site measurements and laboratory listening tests were conducted for five eating *** on-site measurements,a simultaneous questionnaire study was also carried *** and objective data were comparatively *** tests were based on auralizations with calibrated simulation *** provided a research model,that allows control over the acoustic environment without having to make real changes in the physical elements of the eating *** auralization sound files were presented to listening test participants with headphones and they evaluated soundscapes with different psychoacoustic *** results,better acoustic comfort was found to be related with higher sharpness,lower reverberation time,lower loudness and lower roughness values for the examined parameter ranges.

Driftwood is one of the important physical components in mountainous rivers which causes severe hazards due to the clogging of bridges,culverts,and narrow sections during ***,the understanding of driftwood dynamics and mitigation measures are crucial for managing wood in *** check dams are the most commonly used engineering measure for preventing driftwood from reaching downstream ***,these open check dams frequently lose their sediment transport function when they are blocked by sediment and driftwood,especially during major flood *** paper proposes a new type of open check dam for preventing from ***,flume experiments were conducted to examine the influence of different types of open check dams on the characteristics of driftwood *** the model with wood length(LWD)=16.5 cm,wood diameter(D)=15 mm,and wood number(N)=172,the highest trapping efficiency was observed with 90.1%and 87.2%retention rates for the classical debris flow breaker and curved footed open check dams,*** tests showed that through this proposed design,woody debris blockage in a very short time was prevented from the accumulation of woods beside the *** addition to this,most of the sediment passed through the check dam and most of the driftwood got *** can be briefly stated that the geometrical design of the structure plays an important role and can be chosen carefully to optimize trapping *** designing this type of open check dams in mountain river basins,it may provide a better understanding of the driftwood accumulation and basis for the optimal design of these *** development of the solution proposed in this work can pave the way for designing different types of open check dams for effective flood management.

Obesity is becoming an inevitable pandemic all over the *** World Obesity Federation predicts in the 2022 World Obesity Atlas that one billion people worldwide,including 1 in 5 women and 1 in 7 men,will be living with obesity by ***,the prevalence of diabetes is increasing worldwide,and diabetes is becoming more of a public health *** insulin resistance due to obesity and deficiency in insulin secretion are the two main causes of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).An exogenous chemical or mixture of chemicals that interferes with any aspect of hormone action was defined as endocrine-disrupting chemicals(EDCs).Bisphenol A(BPA),the first known EDC,was synthesized and was considered to be *** production of BPA has increased progressively from 5 to 8 million tons(MT)between 2010 and ***,researchers estimated that the production should reach 10.2 MT by *** human population is exposed to EDCs in daily life in such forms as pesticides/herbicides,industrial and household products,plastics,detergents,and personal care *** term obesogen was used for chemicals that promote weight gain and obesity by increasing the number of adipocytes and fat storage in existing adipocytes,changing the energy balance,and finally regulating appetite and *** the obesogenic effect,EDCs can cause T2DM through alteration inßcell function and morphology and insulin *** this review,we provide clinical and mechanistic evidence regarding EDCs as obesogen and ***,those studies are not enough methodologically to indicate *** this respect,randomized clinical trials are needed to investigate the association between obesogen,diabetogen and the related metabolic clinical picture.

Unlocking offshore wind farms’high energy generation potential requires a comprehensive multi-disciplinary analysis that consists of intensive technical,economic,logistical,and environmental *** wind energy projects have high investment volumes that make it essential to conduct extensive site selection to ensure feasible investment decisions that reduce the potential financial *** on the scenario and circumstances,a ranking of alternative offshore wind energy projects helps to prioritise the investment *** algorithms based on expert knowledge can support the prioritisation and thus alleviate the work load for investment decisions in the *** case study considered here is to find the best site for a floating offshore wind farm in Norway from four pre-selected alternatives:Utsira Nord,Stadthavet,Froyabanken,and Trana *** propose a hybrid decisionmaking model as a combined compromised solution(CoCoSo)based on the q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets(q-ROFSs)including the weighted q-rung orthopair fuzzy Hamacher average(Wq-ROFHA)and the weighted q-rung orthopair fuzzy Hamacher geometric mean(Wq-ROFHGM)*** this model,the q-ROFSs based full consistency method(FUCOM)is introduced as a new methodology to determine the weights of the decision *** results of the proposed model show that the best site among the investigated four alternatives is A1:Utsira Nord.A sensitivity analysis has verified the stability of the proposed decision-making model.

探讨使用低功率等离子体炬生产钛合金金属粉末的可能性。设计一种氩气直流非转移电弧等离子体炬,并对其等离子体射流特性和导线温度进行数值分析。喷嘴附件内的最高射流速度为838~1178 m/s,不同气体流速下顶点处的射流速度为494~645 m/s。等离子体气体流速对有效等离子体射流长度无显著影响。利用等离子体射流的温度和速度随距离的变化,可通过数值分析预测等离子体射流的长度。所制备的粉末为球形,无卫星粉。总之,本研究开发并使用低功率等离子体炬成功生产了钛合金粉末。
