In this study,weighted-exponential regression model is proposed for modeling the right-skewed response variable as an alternative to the gamma regression *** maximum likelihood,method of moments,least-squares and weighted least-squares estimation methods are used to estimate unknown parameters of re-parametrized weightedexponential *** simulation study is conducted to compare the efficiencies of parameter estimation *** application on coalition duration dataset is given to demonstrate the usefulness of proposed regression model against the gamma regression *** residual analysis is performed to evaluate the accuracy of the fitted *** findings show that the weighted-exponential regression model provides better fits than the gamma regression model and could be a good choice for modeling the right-skewed response variable.

We study a communication scheduling and remote estimation problem within a worst-case scenario that involves a strategic adversary. Specially, a remote sensing system consisting of a sensor, an encoder and a decoder is configured to observe,transmit, and recover a discrete time stochastic process. At each time step, the sensor makes an observation on the state variable of the stochastic process. The sensor is constrained by the number of transmissions over the time horizon, and thus it needs to decide whether to transmit its observation or not after making each measurement. If the sensor decides to transmit,it sends the observation to the encoder, who then encodes and transmits the observation to the decoder. Otherwise, the sensor and the encoder maintain silence. The decoder is required to generate a real-time estimate on the state variable. The sensor,the encoder, and the decoder collaborate to minimize the sum of the communication cost for the sensor, the encoding cost for the encoder, and the estimation error for the decoder. There is also a jammer interfering with the communication between the encoder and the decoder, by injecting an additive channel noise to the communication channel. The jammer is charged for the jamming power and is rewarded for the estimation error generated by the decoder, and it aims to minimize its net cost. We consider a feedback Stackelberg game with the sensor, the encoder, and the decoder as the composite leader, and the jammer as the follower. Under some technical assumptions, we obtain a feedback Stackelberg solution, which is threshold based for the scheduler,and piecewise affine for the encoder and the decoder. We also generate numerical results to demonstrate the performance of the remote sensing system under the feedback Stackelberg solution.

Objective: To investigate and compare the antileishmanial effects of CAPE and(CAPE)PLGA NPs on Leishmania infantum(***) promastigotes and amastigotes in vitro,Methods: Efficacies of CAPE,(CAPE)PLGA NPs and free PLGA nanoparticles(NPs) on promastigotes were evaluated using MTT and promastigote count assays,and their anti-amastigote effects were determined via infection index analysis,Griess reaction was also performed to calculate nitric oxide production of macrophages exposed to investigated molecules,Results: It was determined that CAPE and(CAPE)PLGA NPs demonstrated significant inhibitory effects on *** promastigotes and amastigotes,while free NPs did not exhibit any meaningful antileishmanial effectiveness,The IC50 values of CAPE for *** promastigotes and amastigotes were assessed as(51.0±0.8) and(19.0±1.4) μg/m L,respectively(P<0.05),On the other side,it was revealed that(CAPE)PLGA NPs had superior antileishmanial activity on both forms of parasites since its IC50 values for *** promastigotes and amastigotes were(32.0±1.3) and(8.0±0.9) μg/m L,respectively(P<0.05),It was also determined that both agents strongly stimulated nitric oxide production of macrophages,Conclusions: The obtained results show that(CAPE)PLGA NPs have a great potential to be especially used in treatment of visceral leishmaniasis; however,in vivo antileishmanial screening of these molecules should be performed in the near future.

In this article, using generalized weighted mean and difference matrix of order m, we introduce the paranormed sequence space l（u, v, p; △（m））, which consist of the sequences whose generalized weighted △（m）-difference means are in the linear space l（p） defined by ***. Also, we determine the basis of this space and compute its α-, β- and γ-duals. Further, we give the characterization of the classes of matrix mappings from l（u, v, p, △（m）） to l∞, c, and co. Finally, we apply the Hausdorff measure of noncompacness to characterize some classes of compact operators given by matrices on the space lp（U, v, △（m））（1 ≤ p 〈 ∞）.

AIM：To assess morphological changes in macula, retinal nerve fiber layer （RNFL） and optic nevre head （ONH） of cases with primary open angle glaucoma （POAG） and ocular hypertension （OH） with spectral domain optic coherence tomography （OCT）.METHODS：This study included 109 eyes from 62 POAG patients, 50 eyes from 30 OH patients, and 101 eyes from 53 healthy volunteers. Data gained by OCT were compared with perimetry indexes. ONH, RNFL and macula analysis were performed for all subjects. Rim area, disc area,average cup/disc （C/D） ratio, vertical C/D ratio, cup volume data were recorded during ONH analysis. Average RNFL thickness and the thickness of four quadrants （superior,inferior, nasal and temporal） was established in *** total, nine macular quadrants involving the foveal region mentioned in the Early Treatment Diabetic Treatment Study（ETDRS） template were measured, and average macular thickness and macular volume data were recorded during macula analysis. Differences between groups were evaluated with the one-way ANOVA test. Tukey’s multiple comparison test was performed to detect difference between ***-operating characteristic （ROC） analysis was done for early stage POAG patients to establish sensitivity and specificity of chosen parameters in early stage *** under the receiver operating characteristic （AUROC）values were calculated to compare ROC ***：Statistically significant differences were found in all ONH parameters, except optic disc area. Neuroretinal rim area was identified as the parameter with the highest difference between groups （F=21.72, P〈0.05）. The highest correlation between ONH parameters and perimetry was observed at neuroretinal rim region （r=0.487）. Inferior RNFL thickness was established as the parameter with the highest difference between groups among RNFL parameters. In the mean of all glaucoma patients, the highest correlation between data handled with OCT and mean deviation was observed in RNFL thickness.

This research study aims to enhance the optimization performance of a newly emerged Aquila Optimization algorithm by incorporating chaotic sequences rather than using uniformly generated Gaussian random *** work employs 25 different chaotic maps under the framework of Aquila *** considers the ten best chaotic variants for performance evaluation on multidimensional test functions composed of unimodal and multimodal problems,which have yet to be studied in past literature *** was found that Ikeda chaotic map enhanced Aquila Optimization algorithm yields the best predictions and becomes the leading method in most of the *** test the effectivity of this chaotic variant on real-world optimization problems,it is employed on two constrained engineering design problems,and its effectiveness has been ***,phase equilibrium and semi-empirical parameter estimation problems have been solved by the proposed method,and respective solutions have been compared with those obtained from state-of-art *** is observed that CH01 can successfully cope with the restrictive nonlinearities and nonconvexities of parameter estimation and phase equilibrium problems,showing the capabilities of yielding minimum prediction error values of no more than 0.05 compared to the remaining algorithms utilized in the performance benchmarking process.

The outcome of patents on environmental(POET)technologies on the EF in the USA has not been com-prehensively ***,to close this breach in the literature,the present study discovers how patents on ecological technologies affect ecological footprint(EF)in the USA while regulatory for GDP and EC using the Fourier-based *** conclusions of the present study reveal that POET are an important predictor of EF in the USA and cause a reduction in ecological deprivation in the long run;as expected,economic growth negatively affects environmental *** outcomes suggest that it is possible to resolve conflicts between the economy and the environment by using technological *** USA government must reconsider its policy focus,particularly on coal energy sourcing and industrial energy,while continuing with heavy investments in its ambitious renewable energy technol-ogy development ***,the government should continue to promote investments in environ-mental technologies.

The main purpose of this paper is to obtain the wave solutions of conformable time fractional Boussinesq–Whitham–Broer–Kaup equation arising as a model of shallow water waves. For this aim, the authors employed auxiliary equation method which is based on a nonlinear ordinary differential equation. By using conformable wave transform and chain rule, a nonlinear fractional partial differential equation is converted to a nonlinear ordinary differential equation. This is a significant impact because neither Caputo definition nor Riemann–Liouville definition satisfies the chain rule. While the exact solutions of the fractional partial derivatives cannot be obtained due to the existing drawbacks of Caputo or Riemann–Liouville definitions, the reliable solutions can be achieved for the equations defined by conformable fractional derivatives.
