辽东半岛广泛分布变质核杂岩构造,作为华北克拉通破坏的浅部响应,具有重要的构造演化研究意义.新房变质核杂岩是近年来新发现的伸展构造单元,具备典型的三层结构:上盘主要包括新元古代-古生代弱变形沉积岩层和早白垩世庄河断陷盆地,下盘包括新太古代变质基底和同构造中生代花岗质侵入岩体,二者接触部位为拆离断层带.野外宏观运动学及显微构造特征明显,均指示上盘具由SEE向NWW的运动学特征,与太平洋板块早白垩世早-中期运动方向相吻合.本次工作通过锆石LA-ICP-MS U-Pb同位素及常量、稀土和微量元素测试,将新房变质核杂岩的形成时代大致限定于早白垩世早期(123~125 Ma),并进一步明确为华北克拉通破坏事件的早期产物.该变质核杂岩控制了区内新房大型金矿的生成,在辽东半岛变质核杂岩控矿、成矿较差的现状下,研究意义较大.

BACKGROUND Giant hiatal hernias still pose a major challenge to digestive surgeons,and their repair is sometimes a highly complex *** is usually performed by laparoscopy,while the role of the thoracoscopic approach has yet to be clearly *** To preoperatively detect patients with a giant hiatal hernia in whom it would not be safe to perform laparoscopic surgery and who,therefore,would be candidates for a thoracoscopic *** In the present study,using imaging test we preoperatively simulate the field of vision of the camera and the working area(instrumental access)that can be obtained in each patient when the laparoscopic approach is *** From data obtained,we can calculate the access angles that will be obtained in a preoperative computerised axial tomography coronal section,according to the location of the *** also provide the formula for performing the angle calculations If the trocars are placed in loss common situations,thus enabling us to determine the visibility and manoeuvrability for any position of the *** The working area determines the cases in which we can operate safely and those in which certain areas of the hernia cannot be accessed,which is when the thoracoscopic approach would be safer.

The Cydia pomonella granulovirus (CpGV) has been used for many years as biological agent for codling moth control in apple orchards. Resistance to the Mexican strain of CpGV was detected in orchards in Germany, France and Italy. A laboratory insect colony was started from insects collected in a French resistant orchard. It was named RGV. Various virus isolates were identified as active against this resistant insect colony. Field tests were carried out in 2007 to test if the two virus isolates CpGV-I12 and NPP-R1 were effective in the field. Although these virus isolates were not able to reduce insect caused fruit damages, they significantly reduced the overwintering insect populations. NPP-R1 was subjected to eight passages on RGV larvae (NPP-R1.8) that improved its biological activity on RGV larvae. 2008 field trials were set up to test this improved virus strain, compared to CpGV-I12 and Madex plus active on RGV. These tests confirmed the ability to control both in susceptible and resistant insect populations.

Although LCA is normally not focused on the local impacts for a product system, but when LCA is applied to other environmental system analysis tools the local impact may be important, such as the Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA). In this study, the regionalization of LCA refers to the conversion of the results from site-generic or site-dependent LCIAs into smaller spatial units. The regionalization of LCAs is achieved by a geographic information system (GIS). GIS can easily allocate the impact into smaller spatial units through the overlay analysis of fate, exposure and effect layers.

Nowadays, many works are interested in adapting to the context without taking into account neither the responsiveness to adapt their solution, nor the ability of designers to model all the relevant concerns. Our paper provides a new architecture for context management that tries to solve both problems. This approach is also based on the analysis and synthesis of context-aware frameworks proposed in literature. Our solution is focus on a separation of contextual concerns at the design phase and preserves it as much as possible at runtime. For this, we introduce the notion of independent views that allow designers to focus on their domain of expertise. At runtime, the architecture is splitted in 2 independent levels of adaptation. The highest is in charge of current context identification and manages each view independently. The lowest handles the adaptation of the application according to the rules granted by the previous level.

Kriging is an interpolation technique that is used to estimate a variable at an unmeasured location from observed values at nearer locations. In this study, it is used to analyze the spatial distributions of the health risk of indoor air pollution. The study case is an air-conditioned office building that has 16 floors, located in Taipei, Taiwan. The Kriging method is used in drawing health risk maps on the basis of limited sample points and facilitates investigating the possible source of pollution.
