为了了解波特兰水泥中的水化硅酸钙(C-S-H)的微观结构,对有无含添加剂superplasticizers(SPs)、从5天到68天的不同老化时间的波特兰水泥样品的X光散射实验,实验数据结果分析表明C-S-H中钙硅层间距的大小是0.98±0.01nm,结果说明波特兰水泥样品中C-S-H中钙硅层间距与样品是否含SPs以及样品的老化时间无关。

Beeswax is the substance that forms the structure of a honeycomb; the bees secrete wax to build the honeycombs where to store *** to its rich hydrophobic protective properties,the beeswax is in fact present within cosmetics and body ***,beeswax is used in the food industry:as a film to wrap cheese for maturing or as a food additive(E901) to give shine to the *** as the honey which it contains,beeswax is also characterized by several therapeutic properties of great interest to us; it is thought to be particularly effective in healing bruises,inflammation and ***,the interest of researchers has moved even on antimicrobial properties of beeswax although there are still few studies in the literature focused only on the action of *** few studies showed an anitimicrobic effectiveness of beeswax against overall Staphylococcus aureus,Salmonella enterica,Candida albicans and Aspergillus niger; these inhibitory effects are enhanced synergistically with other natural products such as honey or olive *** minireview aims to be a collection of major scientific works that have considered the antimicrobial activity of beeswax alone or in combination with other natural products in recent years.

Titanium alloys materials when both good weight reduction are required are considered desirable mechanical properties and at the same time. This class of materials is widely used in those fields （aeronautics, aerospace） in which common steels and light-weight materials, e.g., aluminum alloys, are not able to satisfy all operative service conditions. During the last decade, forg- ing of titanium alloys has attracted greater attention from both industrial and scientific/academic researchers because of their potential in providing a near net shaped part with minimal need for machining. In this paper, a numerical model of the forging sequences for a Ti-6A1-4V titanium alloy aerospace component is presented. The model was tested and validated against experimental forgings. The model is then applied to predict loads final microstructure and defects of an aeronautical component. In addition to metal flow and die stresses, microstructural transformations （α and β phases） are considered for the determination of proper process parameters. It is found that transformation from α/β to β phase during forging and reverse transformations in post-forge cooling needs to be considered in the computational model for reasonable prediction of forging loads and product properties.

Dissimilar stir welding （FSW） lap joints were produced by friction out of Ti6A14V titanium alloy and AA2024 aluminum alloy sheets. The joints, welded with varying tool rotation and feed rate, were studied by ana- lyzing the maximum shear strength, Vickers microhardness and optical observations. A dedicated numerical model, able to take into account the presence of the two different alloys, was used to highlight the effects of the process parameters on temperature distribution, strain distribution, and material flow. The combined analysis of experimental measurements and numerical predictions allowed explaining the effects of tool rotation and feed rate on the material flow. It was found that tool rotation had a larger impact on the joint effectiveness with respect to feed rate. A competition between material mixing and heat input occurs with increasing tool rotation, resulting in higher joint strength when lower values of tool rotation are used.

Widespread use of aluminum alloys for the fabrication of car body parts is conditional to the use of appropriate welding methods,especially if dissimilar welding must be performed with automotive steel *** stir welding(FSW)is considered to be a reasonable solution to obtain sound aluminum-steel *** this context,this work studies the effects of tool position and force control in dissimilar friction stir welding of AA6061 aluminum alloy on DC05 low carbon steel in lap joint configuration,also assessing proper welding parameter *** eye and scanning electron microscopy(SEM)have been used to detect macroscopic and microscopic defects in joints,as well as to determine the type of intermixture between aluminum and *** joint strength of sound joints has been assessed by shear tension *** point out that tool force control allows for obtaining joints with better quality and strength in a wider range of process parameters.A process window has been determined for tool force conditions to have joints with adequate strength for automotive purposes.

Objective:To investigate clinicopathological,bacteriological and pathological aspects of an experimental infection with Yersinia pseudotuberculosis(***)in hares in order to verify the efficacy of serology for the in vivo ***,the pathogenicity of two *** strains was investigated in order to detect potential ***:Twelve European brown hares(Lepus europaeus,Pallas)were experimentally infected per os and via conjunctival mucosae with ***:six subjects were infected with a strain isolated from a naturally infected hare(YpH)and six subjects with a strain isolated from a naturally infected rabbit(YpR).Two hares were used as negative *** animals were subjected to clinical,bacteriological and serological examinations during 9 weeks following the infection and,at the end of the control period,subjects still alive were euthanized and submitted to a complete post mortem ***:All faecal samples collected during the control period were positive for bacteriological examinations and to a PCR for the inv gene of ***,while only one Yp H-infected hare showed a positive *** the 2nd to the 9th week post infection(pi),serological analysis revealed specific antibodies with titers ranging from 1:10 to 1:160 in all YpH-infected and two YpR-infected *** the Yp H-infected and two Yp R-infected hares scored positive for *** by means of bacteriological ***,suppurative multifocal lesions were detected in liver,spleen,kidney and sub-mandibular lymph nodes in both YpH-and YpR-infected hares and confirmed with *** lesions were observed only in Yp H-infected *** confirmed the presence of bacterial antigen in all infected ***:Results of this study revealed that YpH strain is more pathogenic for hares than the YpR strain;moreover the serological test performed in

BACKGROUND: Partial porto-systemic shunts have been popularized because of reported low rate of mortality and morbidity (especially encephalopathy, liver failure and oc- clusion). To further investigate these assumptions, we ret- rospectively reviewed the results of partial porta-caval shunts performed at different stages of liver disease. METHODS: Twenty-nine cirrhotic patients underwent a partial porta-caval shunt with a ringed polytetrafluoroethy- lene interposition prosthesis of 8-mm ( 20 patients) or 10- mm (9 patients) in diameter. Pre- and post-shunt porta- caval pressure was measured in all patients. Twelve patients (41.4%) belonged to Child A, 11 Child B (37.9%), and 6 Child C (20.7%). Eleven patients (37.9%) suffered from hepatic encephalopathy preoperatively. Twelve patients (41%) were operated on in emergency/urgency. RESULTS: Porta-caval pressure gradient, reduced signifi- cantly using either 8- or 10-mm prosthesis. The overall ear- ly mortality and morbidity were 13. 8% and 48% respec- tively. The early mortality and morbidity were different be- tween patients of Child A and B when compared to those of Child C (0 vs 66.6% and 34.8% vs 66.6% respectively). No patient re-bled early from varices. The overall late mor- tality and morbidity were 40% and 64% respectively. Shunt thrombosis and stenosis took place in 16% and 8% of the two groups of patients respectively; variceal re-bleeding oc- curred in 4 patients (16%). Encephalopathy occurred post- operatively in 5 patients (20%), acute in 3 patients (12%), and chronic in 2 (8%). The actuarial survival rate at 3 and 5 years was 92% and 75% for patients of Child A, 70% and 60% for patients of Child B, and 0% for patients of Child C. CONCLUSIONS: Our results indicate that partial porta-ca- val shunt with a small diameter interposition H-graft is an effective procedure for the treatment of variceal bleeding, as well as for the prevention of re-bleeding in patients of Child A and those of Child B, as an electi

The purpose of this paper is to illustrate a methodology to determine the lost revenue and increased costs resulting from the assumption of forest-environment commitments, as provided by rule 225 (Council Regulation (EC) No. 1698/2005) of the measure defined by the Tuscany Region. The aim is therefore to determine the appropriateness of the payments provided by European Community measures. Regulation (EC) No. 1698/2005 regards mainly land management and contributes to sustainable development by encouraging farmers and forest holders to employ methods of land use compatible with the need to preserve the natural environment and landscape and protect and improve natural resources. This Rule covers support for non-productive investments linked to the achievement of agro or forest-environmental commitments or the achievement of other agri-environmental objectives, as well as measures aimed at improving forestry resources with an environmental objective (support for the first forestation of agricultural land, establishment of agroforestry systems or restoring forestry potential and preventing natural disasters). We have worked by analyzing each of the commitments required by individual actions and checking their impact on forest regional management;we have calculated the additional costs and the lost revenue resulting from the assumption of commitments.

We described the case of a peripancreatic paraganglioma(PGL)misdiagnosed as pancreatic *** exploration revealed an unremarkable pancreas and a large well-defined cystic mass originating at the mesocolon *** enucleation of the mass was performed,preserving the pancreatic ***,a diagnosis of PGL was ***,two previously unreported mutations,one affecting the KDR gene in exon 7 and another on the JAK3 gene in exon 4 were *** mutations are known to be *** and cytologic findings were blindly reviewed by an expert panel of clinicians,radiologists,and pathologists to identify possible causes of the *** major issue was lack of evidence of a cleavage plane from the pancreas at imaging,which prompted radiologists to establish an intraparenchymal *** blinded revision shifted the diagnosis towards an extrapancreatic lesion,as the pancreatic parenchyma showed no structural alterations and no dislocation of the Wirsung *** post,the identified biases were the emergency setting of the radiologic examination and the very thin mesocolon sheet,which hindered clear definition of the lesion *** endoscopic ultrasonography diagnosis was confirmed,emphasizing the intrinsic limit of this technique in detecting large ***,pathologic review favored a diagnosis of PGL due to the morphological features and immonohistochemical *** months after tumor excision,the patient is asymptomatic with no disease relapse evident by either radiology or laboratory *** report strongly highlights the difficulties in rendering an accurate preoperative diagnosis of PGL.
