Currently, the risk factors of pregnancy loss are increasing andare considered a major challenge because they vary between cases. The earlyprediction of miscarriage can help pregnant ladies to take the needed careand avoid any danger. Therefore, an intelligent automated solution must bedeveloped to predict the risk factors for pregnancy loss at an early stage toassist with accurate and effective diagnosis. Machine learning (ML)-baseddecision support systems are increasingly used in the healthcare sector andhave achieved notable performance and objectiveness in disease predictionand prognosis. Thus, we developed a model to help obstetricians predictthe probability of miscarriage using ML. And support their decisions andexpectations about pregnancy status by providing an easy, automated way topredict miscarriage at early stages using ML tools and techniques. Althoughmany published papers proposed similar models, none of them used saudiclinical data. Our proposed solution used ML classification algorithms tobuild a miscarriage prediction model. Four classifiers were used in this study:decision tree (DT), random forest (RF), k-nearest neighbor (KNN), andgradient boosting (GB). Accuracy, Precision, Recall, F1-score, and receiveroperating characteristic area under the curve (ROC-AUC) were used to evaluatethe proposed model. The results showed that GB overperformed the otherclassifiers with an accuracy of 93.4% and ROC-AUC of 97%. This proposedmodel can assist in the early identification of at-risk pregnant women to avoidmiscarriage in the first trimester and will improve the healthcare sector insaudi Arabia.

Bridging the gap between research and schematic design phases in teaching architectural graduation projects

Validation and application of Vierordt’’s spectrophotometric method for simultaneous estimation of tamoxifen/coenzyme Q10 in their binary mixture and pharmaceutical dosage forms

For the sake of improving patient compliance and sustainability of chemotherapy healthcare system, both TC and CoQ10 were formulated as solid lipid nanoparticles (sLNs). The study was focused on establishing and validating a simple and reproducible spectrophotometric method for simultaneous determination of TC and CoQ10 in their binary mixture or pharmaceutical dosage forms. A new method based on simultaneous estimation of drug mixture without prior separation was developed. Validation parameters were checked with International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines. The accuracy and reproducibility of proposed method was statistically compared to HPLC. The TC and CoQ10 were quantified at absorptivity wavelengths of 236 nm and 275 nm, respectively. Calibration curves obeyed Beer’s law in range of 2–14 μg/ml with a correlation coefficient (R^2) of 0.999 in both methanol and simplified simulated intestinal fluid (ssIF). The %means recovery of TC and Co Q10 in pure state or binary mixture at various concentration levels were all around 100%.The low values of sD and %RsD (sion and accuracy of the proposed method. Formulated sLNs showed different %means recovery in range 81–92% for TC and 32–59% for CoQ10. The data obtained by applying simultaneous Vierordt’s equations showed no statistical significance in comparison to HPLC. Vierordt’s method was successfully applied as a simple, accurate, precise, and economical analysis method for estimating TC and CoQ10 concentrations in pure state, binary mixture and pharmaceutical dosage forms.

Populus alba is a large woody deciduous *** plant has been introduced to shooting,then multiplication of rooting on Murashige and skoog(Ms)*** work was designed to estimate the effect of two factors(low levels of 1-Naphthaleneacetic acid NAA and sucrose)on *** response resulting in 6 treatments compared to the control,with twelve measured *** was a significant difference in some measurements in morphology,like plantlets fresh-weight,shoot-,root-length,and leaf *** the physiological measurements,there were significant differences in all the measured *** low concentrations of sucrose and media composition/power(Ms grams/L)led to starvation in plants;however,these conditions led to enhancement in some morphological and physiological parameters to overcome the starvation effect,compared to the *** RAPD-PCR molecular marker(four decamers)was used to evaluate the new individuals’genetic variation(instability),resulting in a total polymorphism percentage of 50.83%.It was formerly known that the plantlets were identical to each other and to the mother *** this study,however,the use of distinct media power,hormonal and sucrose levels resulted in molecular variation reflected in ***’s morphological and physiological responses.

Agmatine induces gastric protection against ischemic injury by reducing vascular permeability in rats

Using random-parameter and fixed-parameter ordered models to explore temporal stability in factors affecting drivers' injury severity in single-vehicle collisions

Understanding the temporal stability in the factors influencing drivers' injury severity in single-vehicle collisions would help evaluating the effectiveness of implementing different safety treatments so that researchers could understand whether any safety improvements,observed after applying a certain safety treatment, are attributed to the specific treatment or simply attributed to the temporal instability of the factors being addressed. This study investigates the temporal stability of the factors affecting drivers' injury severity in singlevehicle collisions involving light-duty vehicles. The study is based on utilizing ordinal regression modeling to analyze the severity of drivers' injuries in all police-reported lightduty single-vehicle collisions that occurred in North Carolina from January 1, 2007, to December 31, 2013. A separate regression model was estimated for each year so that statistical significance of each risk factor may be compared over the years. The study also estimated random-parameter(mixed) ordered logit models to explore the heterogeneity in data. The most significant factor that was found to increase the severity of drivers' injuries in light-duty single-vehicle collisions is driving under the influence of alcohol or illicit drugs. Other significant factors, in decreasing order in terms of their significance, include driving on a highway curve, exceeding speed limit, lighting conditions, the age of the driver, and the age of the vehicle. In contrast, there were six factors that were found to be significant in only some years and not in all years. These six temporally unstable factors include the use of seatbelt, driver's gender, rural highways, undivided highways, the type of the light-duty vehicle, and weather and road surface conditions. These same factors were found by other previous research studies to be significant and stable predictors of drivers' injury severity in single-vehicle collisions.

New Fragile Watermarking Technique to Identify Inserted Video Objects Using H.264 and Color Features

The transmission of video content over a network raises various issues relating to copyright authenticity,ethics,legality,and *** protection of copyrighted video content is a significant issue in the video industry,and it is essential to find effective solutions to prevent tampering and modification of digital video content during its transmission through digital ***,there are stillmany unresolved *** paper aims to address those challenges by proposing a new technique for detectingmoving objects in digital videos,which can help prove the credibility of video content by detecting any fake objects inserted by *** proposed technique involves using two methods,the H.264 and the extraction color features methods,to embed and extract watermarks in video *** study tested the performance of the system against various attacks and found it to be *** evaluation was done using different metrics such as Peak-signal-to-Noise Ratio(PsNR),Mean squared Error(MsE),structural similarity Index Measure(ssIM),Bit Correction Ratio(BCR),and Normalized *** accuracy of identifying moving objects was high,ranging from 96.3%to 98.7%.The system was also able to embed a fragile watermark with a success rate of over 93.65%and had an average capacity of hiding of *** reconstructed video frames had high quality with a PsNR of at least 65.45 dB and ssIMof over 0.97,making them imperceptible to the human *** system also had an acceptable average time difference(T=1.227/s)compared with other state-of-the-art methods.

Due to the exponential growth of video data,aided by rapid advancements in multimedia *** became difficult for the user to obtain information from a large video *** process of providing an abstract of the entire video that includes the most representative frames is known as static video *** method resulted in rapid exploration,indexing,and retrieval of massive video *** propose a framework for static video summary based on a Binary Robust Invariant scalable Keypoint(BRIsK)and bisecting K-means clustering *** current method effectively recognizes relevant frames using BRIsK by extracting keypoints and the descriptors from video *** video frames’BRIsK features are clustered using a bisecting K-means,and the keyframe is determined by selecting the frame that is most near the cluster *** applying any clustering parameters,the appropriate clusters number is determined using the silhouette *** were carried out on a publicly available open video project(OVP)dataset that contained videos of different *** proposed method’s effectiveness is compared to existing methods using a variety of evaluation metrics,and the proposed method achieves a trade-off between computational cost and quality.
