Plants have to cope with several abiotic stresses,including salinity and heavym.tals(Hm.).Under these stresses,several extracts have been used as effective natural biostim.lants,however,the use of Spirulina platensis(SP)extract(SPE)rem.ins *** effects of SPE were evaluated as soil addition(SA)and/or foliar spraying(FS)on antioxidant defenses and Hm. content of com.on bean grown in saline soil contam.nated with ***(40 or 80 m. SPE/hill added as SA or 20 or 40 m. SPE/plant added as FS)or integrative(SA+FS)applications of SPE showed significant im.rovem.nts in the following order:SA-80+FS-40>SA-80+FS-20>SA-40+FS-40>SA-40+FS-20>SA-80>SA-40>FS-40>FS-20>***,the integrative SA+FS with 40 m. SP/plant was the m.st effective treatm.nt in increasing plant growth and production,overcom.ng stress effects and m.nim.zing contam.nation of the edible *** significantly increased plant growth(74%–185%)and yield(107%–227%)by enhancing net photosynthetic rate(78.5%),stom.tal conductance(104%),transpiration rate(124%),and contents of carotenoids(60.0%),chlorophylls(49%–51%),and NPK(271%–366%).These results were concurrent with the m.rked reductions in m.londialdehyde(61.6%),hydrogen peroxide(42.2%),nickel(91%–94%),lead(80%–9%),and cadm.um.74%–91%)contents due to the im.roved contents of glutathione(87.1%),ascorbate(37.0%),andα-tocopherol(77.2%),and the activities of catalase(18.1%),ascorbate peroxidase(18.3%),superoxide dism.tase(192%),and glutathione reductase(52.2%)as reinforcing ***,this m.st effective treatm.nt is recom.ended to m.tigate the stress effects of salinity and Hm. on com.on bean production while m.nim.zing Hm. in the edible part.

A new series of benzothiazole Schiff bases 3–29 was synthesized and screened for antitum.r activity against cervical cancer（Hela） and kidney fibroblast cancer（COS-7） cell lines. Results indicated that com.ounds 3, 14, 19, 27 and 28 have prom.sing activity against Hela cell line with IC50 values of 2.41,3.06, 6.46, 2.22 and 6.25 m.ol/L, respectively, in com.arison to doxorubicin as a reference antitum.r agent（IC50 2.05 m.ol/L）. In addition, com.ound 3 displayed excellent activity against COS-7 cell line with IC50 value of 4.31 m.ol/L in com.arison to doxorubicin（IC50 3.04 m.ol/L）. In the present work,structure based pharm.cophore m.pping, m.lecular docking, protein-ligand interaction, fingerprints and binding energy calculations were em.loyed in a virtual screening strategy to identify the interaction between the com.ounds and the active site of the putative target, EGFR tyrosine kinase. m.lecular properties, toxicity, drug-likeness, and drug score profiles of com.ounds 3, 14, 19, 27, 28 and 29 were also assessed.

Objective Triple negative breast cancer(TNBC) contains a high proportion of breast cancer stem.cells(BCSCs) and exhibits resistance to chem.therapy treatm.nts. Therefore, the identification of BCSCs that are novel m.lecular targets m.y im.rove patient survival. Aldehyde dehydrogenase-1(ALDH 1 A1) has been considered a cancer stem.cell m.rker in different tum.rs. Caveolin-1(Cav-1), a m.m.rane transporter protein, regulates cancer chem.-resistance and stem.cell signaling. Thus, the aim.of this study was to evaluate the expression of ALDH 1 A1 and Cav-1 in patients with TNBC by im.unohistochem.stry(IHC) and to correlate their expression with clinical and pathological *** Paraffin blocks of 30 breast cancer patients who underwent m.dified radical m.stectom. between January 2013 and Decem.er 2016 in Zagazig University Hospitals(Egypt) were evaluated. Antibodies to ALDH 1 A1 and Cav-1 were used. Results ALDH 1 A1 and Cav-1 significantly correlated with tum.r size. A significant association between ALDH 1 A1/Cav-1 IHC staining and relapse was found. Cav-1 and ALDH 1 A1-positive expression correlated with a short 3-year disease-free survival rate and a 3-year overall survival rate(P m.ters and shortened survival. Expression of both m.rkers was significantly positively correlated with each other(P < 0.001). ALDH 1 A1 and Cav-1 could be potential therapeutic targets in breast cancer.

Acrom.oclavicular joint (ACJ) injury is a com.on shoulder injury. There are various techniques of ACJ reconstruction. Superficial infection after ACJ reconstruction is not an uncom.on com.lication. However, osteom.elitis post ACJ reconstruction has never been highlighted as a possible com.lication. Our patient is a 31-year-old m.le who sustained a Rockwood 5 ACJ dislocation and had anatom.cal ACJ reconstruction with autogenous gracilis and sem.tendinosus graft. Our technique involved the anatom.cal reconstruction of the ACJ and the coracoclavicular ligam.nt with the usage of two bioscrews and the tem.orary stabilisation of the ACJ with two k-wires. As in any orthopaedic surgery, infection is often disastrous especially when the surgery involves im.lants. It can be disastrous with high m.rbidity to the patient as well as a costly com.lication to treat. Therefore, we wish to highlight this case as despite its rarity, osteom.elitis can be devastating to the patient and should be prevented if possible.

High-throughput satellite (HTS) system. usually m.ke use of m.ltibeam.coverage at high frequency bands in order to offer broadband access of large areas. m.ltibeam.coverage increases the available capacity through frequency reuse and spatial separation. However, one of its m.jor drawbacks is inter- spot interference which considered the m.tivation to propose a new approach using a coding technique to distinguish between beam. that will be em.loyed to m.tigate this interference without the need of frequency reuse. This approach m.kes the use of orthogonal codes to identify beam. and allow using the total satellite bandwidth per beam. Proposed system.double the bandwidth used in each beam.and save the usage of antenna polarization resource used in form.r designs, which m.y be used as a m.ltiple accessing resource inside the coded beam.. The objective of this paper is to provide a com.rehensive perform.nce assessm.nt m.thodology for the proposed approach. Result validation is introduced by com.aring the proposed system.perform.nce with conventional system. that relay on the DVB standards.

Currently, relational database m.nagem.nt system. (RDBm.s)face different challenges in application developm.nt due to the m.ssive growthof unstructured and sem.-structured data. This introduced new DBm. categories, known as not only structured query language (NoSQL) DBm.s, whichdo not adhere to the relational m.del. The m.gration from.relational databasesto NoSQL databases is challenging due to the data com.lexity. This study aim.to enhance the storage perform.nce of RDBm.s in handling a variety of *** paper presents two approaches. The first approach proposes a convenientrepresentation of unstructured data storage. Several extensive experim.ntswere im.lem.nted to assess the efficiency of this approach that could resultin substantial im.rovem.nts in the RDBm.s storage. The second approachproposes using the JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) form.t to representm.ltivalued attributes and m.ny to m.ny (m.N) relationships in relationaldatabases to create a flexible schem. and store sem.-structured data. Theresults indicate that the proposed approaches outperform.sim.lar approachesand im.rove data storage perform.nce, which helps preserve software stabilityin huge organizations by im.roving existing software packages whose replacem.nt m.y be highly costly.

A general study of non-static restricted class of axial system.with anisotropic dissipative expansion-free fluid under geodesic condition is carried out. It is found that expansion-free m.del m.st be dissipative under geodesic condition to preserve axial sym.etry. We also investigate this system.without geodesic condition. Finally, the role of dissipation is explored via transport equation.
