Thymus serpyllum L.,often known as wild thyme,has been used since ancient times due to its multifaceted culinary and medicinal *** is usually utilized in folk medicine to manage different health *** work aimed to investigate the chemical composition and biological characteristics of *** essential oil(EO),including its antimicrobial,antioxidant,and anti-inflammatory ***,we have prompted an in-silico simulation to reveal the underlying mode of action of these *** chemical characterization of ***(EO)by Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry(GC-MS)indicated sabinene(17.33%),terpinen-4-ol(11.73%),phellandral(13.18%),and thymol(10.54%)as main *** antimicrobial screening utilized the disc-diffusion technique,MIC,and MBC *** disc-diffusion test’s results revealed significant anti-Candida activity and notable antibacterial *** MIC and MBC tests showed that *** EO effectively stops bacterial growth,including Gram-positive and Gram-negative strains and Candida *** tolerance level ratio demonstrated that this EO exhibits bactericidal and fungicidal effects on all tested bacteria and Candida ***,*** EO presented effective inhibitory activity against the 5-lipoxygenase(5-LOX)enzyme(IC50=744.19±0.1µg/mL)(p<0.05).It also effectively affected FRAP,β-carotene,DPPH,and ABTS *** light of these findings,*** holds promise for diverse applications across pharmaceuticals,nutraceuticals,and the food ***,further research and collaboration between traditional knowledge and modern medicine are crucial to fully realizing its potential benefits in these fields.

The Zeit sand reservoir is one of the most prolific formations at Northwestern side of the Gulf of *** this research we will try to coordinate between electrical,petrophysical properties,depositional environment and facies discrimination in order to evaluate the hydrocarbon potentiality of studied Zeit *** statistical parameters for potassium(K),thorium(Th)and Th/U ratio contents have a general increase towards northwestern parts,whereas uranium(U)content has a general increase towards southeastern *** sandstone facies is distinguished from the other facies by its thorium content>4 ppm.U has high carbonate content(U≥1 ppm).Rocks'electrical properties vary greatly depending on a number of *** measurements were taken at frequencies range of(5×10^(-4)Hz-100 kHz)for fully saturated samples(clayey sandstone)with NaCl(20 gm/L).As salinity,clay content,and frequency increase,consequently does the electrical *** continental condition are present in northwestern part(back-sea)which is distinguished by high K percent,high Th,high Th/U ratio,and low U *** K,Th,and Th/U ratio contents,with high U contents,characterize the marine depositional environment that existed around the east and southeastern parts(foresea coincide with the dipping of strata).Furthermore,the studied Zeit Formation has good petrophysical properties that coincide with marine *** middle and eastern parts(around ISS-94 and CSS-288)is a good reservoir(porosity 36%-39%,shale content<15%,hydrocarbon saturation 71%-92%,and net pay thickness 17-63 feet).

The rapid development of data communication in modern era demands secure exchange of information. Steganography is an established method for hiding secret data from an unauthorized access into a cover object in such a way that it is invisible to human eyes. The cover object can be image, text, audio,or video. This paper proposes a secure steganography algorithm that hides a bitstream of the secret text into the least significant bits（LSBs） of the approximation coefficients of the integer wavelet transform（IWT） of grayscale images as well as each component of color images to form stego-images. The embedding and extracting phases of the proposed steganography algorithms are performed using the MATLAB software. Invisibility, payload capacity, and security in terms of peak signal to noise ratio（PSNR） and robustness are the key challenges to steganography. The statistical distortion between the cover images and the stego-images is measured by using the mean square error（MSE） and the PSNR, while the degree of closeness between them is evaluated using the normalized cross correlation（NCC）. The experimental results show that, the proposed algorithms can hide the secret text with a large payload capacity with a high level of security and a higher invisibility. Furthermore, the proposed technique is computationally efficient and better results for both PSNR and NCC are achieved compared with the previous algorithms.

Advances in fabrication of mesoscopic membrane sensors with unique structures and morphologies inside anodic alumina membrane （AAM） nanochannels have led to the development of various methods for detecting, visualizing, adsorbing, filtering, and recovering ultra-trace concentrations of toxic metal ions, such as Hg^2＋ and Pb^2＋, in water and blood. These often ＂one-pot＂ screening methods offer advantages over conventional methods in that they do not require sophisticated instruments or laborious sample preparation. In the present study, we fabricated two mesoscopic membrane sensors for naked-eye detection, recognition, filtration, and recovery of Hg^2＋ and Pb^2＋ in biological and environmental samples. These sensors were characterized by the dense immobilization of organic colorants on the mesopore surfaces of silica nanotubes that were constructed using the nanochannels of an AAM as a scaffold. We confirmed that the nanotubes were oriented along the long axis of the AAM nanochannels, open at both ends, and completely and uniformly filled with organic colorants; also, the dense immobilization of the organic colorants did not affect the speed of ion-to-ligand binding events. We used simple, desk-top, flow-through assays to assess the suitability of the developed membrane sensors for detection, removal, and filtration of Hg^2＋ and Pb^2＋ with respect to recyclability and continuous monitoring. Removal of the target ions from biological fluids was assessed by means of flow cytometric analysis. Our results demonstrate the potential of our membrane sensors to be used for preventing the health risks associated with exposure to toxic metal ions in the environment and blood.

Microbial infections cause complicated health influences along with bad economic *** the present investigation,three dominant seaweeds namely,Amphiroa anceps,Corallina officinalis and Sargassum filipendula were collected from different Egyptian sites at the Red Sea and Mediterranean Sea during autumn *** extracts of the three algae were screened for their antibacterial activity against three pathogenic bacteria Salmonella typhiimurium,Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli,in addition to in vitro antiviral activity against Rotavirus(RV),and Coxsackie virus B3(CVB3)that cause severe diseases in *** extract of ***,*** and *** inhibit *** cells by 57.1%,85.7%,and 91.4%,*** highest level of concentration of the *** extract(100μg/mL)inhibits 100%of Staphylococcus aureus cells followed by *** and *** extract which inhibit 82.5%and 75%of ***,the highest concentration of *** extract inhibits *** by 80%.The extract of *** exhibited a high antiviral effect against RV infection with TI=22 and virus titers lessened by 2.75 log TCID_(50) followed by extractions of *** with TI=18.3 and virus titers reduced by 2.5 log TCID_(50).Against CVB3 infection,the extract of *** causes the highest antiviral activity with TI=15 and reduce the viral titers by 2.5 log TCID_(50),followed by extractions of *** with TI=8.8 and inhibition of virus titers by 1.75 log TCID_(50).Extract of *** displayed the lowest antiviral effects against RV and CVB3 infection with TI=2.4 and 1.4,*** obtained results clarified that the extract of three marine seaweeds maintains a potent antimicrobial activity,making them a future promising source of new antimicrobial drugs.

This study examines the large amount of agricultural waste produced in Egypt between 2010 and 2019 by analysing data from various departments within the Agriculture *** also provides a comprehensive database on the biomass available from agricultural waste in Egypt and its potential applications for producing power,heat and chemical *** biomass-pyrolysis systems powered by solar energy are used,research demonstrates the potential to convert agricultural waste into a variety of chemical *** approach utilizes solar energy,a clean and renewable source,and has wide-ranging industrial and power generation *** Egypt’s reliance on agriculture,the country currently utilizes little biomass for energy production and has not previously used it as a source for creating chemical products,which could potentially save on the imported oil used in these *** findings of the study are graphically presented using histograms,pie charts,*** overall production of residues reached the 30-Mt level in *** it contains the most rice-cultivated land,Dakahlia(Lower Egypt region)produces the highest percentage of the total residue(37.17%).Qena governorate(Upper Egypt region)produces 1.14 metric tons of residues,with sugarcane accounting for 20.3%of the total.
