in this work,the magnetic,dielectric properties and electric modulus of Ce^(3+) substituted cobaltmagnesium(Co_(0.7)mg_(0.3)Ce_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_4)(labeled as CmCF) ferrite nanoparticles were investigated in *** magnetization decreases from 50.05 to 34.87 emu/g for further substituting Ce^(3+) ***,coercivity increases from 738.22 Gs for the CmCFO sample to 912.10 Gs for the CmCF2 sample,then decreases monotonically to 762.1 Gs for the CmCF5 *** cerium content and particle size play important roles in controlling the magnetization and coercivity of the CmCF *** CmCF nanoferrites are suitable for microwave applications since their high-frequency response ranges from 7.72 to 11.07 *** CmCF nanoferrites' dielectric parameter dispersion exhibits normal *** pristine Co-mg nanoferrite only has ε' value of 28.25,but the nanoferrite mCmF2 has ε' value of365.03,with an enhancing ratio of 1192%.The conduction mechanism of the mCmF nanoferrites was determined by fitting the σ_(ac) results via the Jonscher power *** 653 K,large polaron tunnelling is thought to be responsible for this conduction process,which is followed by electron barrier hopping at higher ***-Cole diagrams at different temperatures,assuring the contributions of the grains and their boundaries at lower temperatures(653 K) and only the grains at higher *** on our results,the CmCF nanoferrites hold magnetic and semiconducting nature,which can be used in magnetic devices and dielectrics in lower-frequencies or conductors in higher-frequencies.

Can bacterial virulence factors predict antibiotic resistant Helicobacter pylori infection?

Aim To evaluate the association between virulence factor status and antibiotic resistance in Helicobacter pylori(H. pylori)-infected patients in ireland. mETHODS DnA was extracted from antral and corpus biopsies obtained from 165 H. pylori-infected patients. Genotyping for clarithromycin and fluoroquinolone-mediating mutations was performed using the Genotype Helico DR assay. cag A and vac A genotypes were investigated using PCR. RESULTS Primary, secondary and overall resistance rates for clarithromycin were 50.5%(n = 53/105), 78.3%(n = 47/60) and 60.6%(n = 100/165), respectively. Primary, secondary and overall resistance rates for fluoroquinolones were 15.2%(n = 16/105) and 28.3%(n = 17/60) and 20%(n = 33/165), respectively. Resistance to both antibiotics was 12.4%(n = 13/105) in treatment-na?ve patients, 25%(n = 15/60) in those previously treated and 17%(n = 28/165) overall. A cag A-positive genotype was detected in 22.4%(n = 37/165) of patient samples. The dominant vac A genotype was S1/m2 at 44.8%(n = 74/165), followed by S2/m2 at 26.7%(n = 44/165), S1/m1 at 23.6%(n = 39/165) and S2/m1 at 4.8%(n = 8/165). Primary clarithromycin resistance was significantly lower in cag A-positive strains than in cag A-negative strains [32%(n = 8/25) vs 56.3%(n = 45/80); P = 0.03]. Similarly, in patients infected with more virulent H. pylori strains bearing the vac A s1 genotype, primary clarithromycin resistance was significantly lower than in those infected with less virulent strains bearing the vac A s2 genotype, [41%(n = 32/78) vs 77.8%(n = 21/27); P = 0.0001]. no statistically significant association was found between primary fluoroquinolone resistance and virulence factor *** Genotypic H. pylori clarithromycin resistance is high and cag A-negative strains are dominant in our population. Less virulent(cag A-negative and vac A S2-containing) strains of H. pylori are associated with primary clarithromycin resistance.

The understanding of the long-term trend in climatic variables is necessary for the climate change impacts studies and for modeling several processes in environmental engineering. However, for climatic variables, long-term trend is usually unknown whether there is a trend component and, if so, the functional form of this trend is also unknown. in this context, a conventional strategy consists to assume randomly the shape of the local trends in the time series. For example, the polynomial forms with random order are arbitrarily chosen as the shape of the trend without any previous justification. This study aims to 1) estimate the real long-term nonlinear trend and the changing rate of the yearly high temperature among the daily minimum (YHTaDMinT) and maximum temperatures (YHTaDMaxT) observed at Cotonou city, n>2) find out for these real trend and trend increment, the best polynomial trend model among four trend models (linear, quadratic, third-order and fourth-order polynomial function). For both time series, the results show that YHTaDMinT and YHTaDMaxT time series are characterized by nonlinear and monotonically increasing trend. The trend increments present different phases in their nonmonotone variations. Among the four trend estimations models, the trend obtained by third-order and fourth-order polynomial functions exhibits a close pattern with the real long-term nonlinear trend given by the Improved Complete Ensemble empirical mode Decomposition with adaptive noise (iCEemDAn).
