Pion emission in α-particle interactions with various targets of nuclear emulsion detector

The behavior of relativistic hadron multiplicity for 4He-nucleus interactions is investigated. The experi- ment is carried out at 2.1 A and 3.7 A GeV （Dubna energy） to search for the incident energy effect on the interactions inside different emulsion target nuclei. Data are presented in terms of the number of emitted relativistic hadrons in both forward and backward angular zones. The dependence on the target size is presented. For this purpose the statistical events are discriminated into groups according to the interactions with H, CnO, em, and AgBr target nuclei. The separation of events, into the mentioned groups, is executed based on Glauber＇s multiple scattering theory approach. Features suggestive of a decay mechanism seem to be a characteristic of the backward emission of relativistic hadrons. The results strongly support the assumption that the relativistic hadrons may already be emitted during the de-excitation of the excited target nucleus, in a behavior like that of compound-nucleus disintegration. Regarding the limiting fragmentation hypothesis beyond 1 A GeV, the target size is the main parameter affecting the backward production of the relativistic hadron. The incident energy is a principal factor responsible for the forward relativistic hadron production, implying that this system of particle production is a creation system. However, the target size is an effective parameter as well as the projectile size considering the geometrical concept regarded in the nuclear fireball model. The data are analyzed in the framework of the FRITIOF model.

Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumors （ImTs） or inflammatory pseudotumors （IPs） have been extensively discussed in the literature. They are usually found in the lung and upper respiratory tract. However, reporting of cases involving the biliopancreatic region has increased over recent years. Immunohistochemical study of these lesions limited to the pancreatic head or distal bile duct seems to be compatible with those observed in a new entity called autoimmune pancreatitis, but usually intense fibrotic reaction （zonation） predominates producing a mass. When this condition is limited to the pancreatic head, the common bile duct might be involved by the inflammatory process and jaundice may occur often resembling adenocarcinoma of the pancreas. We have previously reported a case of ImT arising from the bile duct associated with autoimmune pancreatitis which is an extremely rare entity. Four years after Kaush-Whipple resection, radiological examination on routine follow-up revealed a tumor mass, suggesting local recurrence. Ultrasound-guided FnA confirmed our suspicious diagnosis. This present case, as others, suggests that persistent follow-up is necessary in order to prevent irreversible liver damage at this specific location.

ng>Objectives:ng> To study the change of CD16 + 56 in zona. ng>materials and methods:ng> 62 zona patients admitted at Inpatient Department of Dermatology, Venereology Allergy, 108 military Central Hospital, and 30 healthy volunteers who were matched for age and sex participated in this study. Prospective, cross-sectional study with controls was conducted. We measured the number of CD16 + CD56 by flow cytometry using FACS Callibur. ng>Results:ng> The mean level of CD16 + 56 in zona patients was 253 ± 200 (106 cells/l), which was lower than that of control group but then increased after treatment. The change of CD16 + 56 did not correlate with patients’ age. Patients who were in severe condition or had affected size from 3% or more had a lower number of CD16 + 56 than control group. ng>Conclusion:ng> The number of CD16 + 56 in zona patients were lower than that of healthy people.

In present work,a novel crack-free Al-Cu-mg-Si-Ti alloy with synchronous improved tensile properties and hot-cracking resistance was proposed and successfully manufactured by laser powder bed fusion(LPBF).The microstructure evolution behaviors and the corresponding strengthening mechanisms were investigated in *** LPBF-processed Al-Cu-mg-Si-Ti alloy presents a heterogeneous microstructure consisting of ultrafine equiaxed grains(UFGs)at the boundary and coarse columnar grains(CGs)at the center of the single molten ***-precipitated D022-Al 3 Ti particles were found to act as the nuclei to refine the grains at the boundary of the molten pool during solidification process,which is attributed to the low cooling rate providing the sufficient incubation time for the precipitation of D022-Al 3 *** are two orientation relationships(ORs)betweenα-Al and D022-Al 3 Ti,i.e.[001]α-Al//[001]D022-Al3Ti,(200)α-Al//(200)D022-Al3Ti and[1¯1¯2]α-Al//[¯111]D022-Al3Ti,(1¯11)α-Al//(¯11¯2)D022-Al3Ti,which are two of the eight ORs predicted with the E2em *** grains in present alloy,no matter for UFGs or CG,exhibited high critical hot-cracking stress,which means a strong hot-cracking ***-nanoprecipitation of Cu-,mg-,and Si-rich Q’and S’phases was introduced to enhance the mechanical performance ofα-Al *** as-built sample exhibits superior tensile properties,with the yield strength(YS)of 473±8 mPa,ultimate tensile strength(UTS)of 541±2 mPa and elongation(EI)of 10.9%±1.2%.

Successful wound healing is a process that has three overlying phases:inflammatory,proliferative and *** wounds are characterized by a perpetuated inflammation that inhibits the proliferative and remodeling phases and impairs the wound *** are key modulators of the wound healing ***,they are responsible for the wound cleaning and for the phagocytosis of pathogens and afterwards they lead to the resolution of the inflammatory response and they express growth factors important for angiogenesis and cytokines and growth factors needed for cell proliferation and deposition of extracellular *** phenotype of the macrophage changes gradually throughout the healing process from the initial m1 pro-inflammatory phenotype characteristic of the acute response to the m2 pro-regenerative phenotype that allows an accurate tissue *** chronic wounds,m1 pro-inflammatory macrophages persist and impair tissue *** such,immunomodulatory biomaterials arise as promising solutions to accelerate the wound healing *** this review,we discuss the importance of macrophages and their polarization throughout the different phases of wound healing;macrophage dysfunction in chronic wounds and the use of immunomodulatory biomaterials to overcome the critical problem of chronic wounds-the continued inflammatory phase that impairs healing.

natural rubber latex is n>the white liquid in the form of the colloidal dispersion of rubber globules suspended in the aqueous liquid. Produced in large quantities in Ivory Coast, the local transformation of natural latex has so far remained insignificant, although some attempts have been made to use it in the manufacture of flexible facade briquettes for rounded walls. Thus, this study aims to incorporate clay as a filler in natural latex for use as an adhesive for tile installation. To do this, different proportions of clay paste were added to the natural latex and the resulting mixtures were used to make the sample and tile adhesive. From the analysis of the results obtained, it appears that the samples with a clay paste density of 0.8 and 1 absorb less water and shown>s good pull-out strength. The mixtures of 30% and 35% latex and 0.8 and 1 clay paste density respectively have pullout stresses greater than 1 N/mm2. According ton>n style="font-family:Verdana;"> nF En 1348, these adhesives can therefore be used as tile adhesive.

We have developed a computer code for {／em ab initio} the variational configuration interaction calculation of the electronic structure of atoms via variationally optimized Lagurre type orbitals, treating the orbital effective charges as variational parameters. Excited states of the same symmetry, in order to avoid the inherent restrictions of the standard method of Hylleraas--Unheim and macDonald, are computed variationally by minimizing the recently developed minimization functionals for excited states. By computing, at the minimum, the one-electron density and the probability distribution of the two-electron angle, and the most probable two-electron angle, we investigate the atomic states of the carbon atom. We show that, without resorting to the （admittedly unproven） concept of hybridization, as an intrinsic property of the atomic wave function, the most probable value of the two-electron angle is around the known angles of carbon bonding, i.e. either 109^／circ or 120^／circ or 180^／circ, depending on each low-lying state of the bare carbon atom.

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of He-Ne laser in combination with topical clindamycin in the treatment of AV at 108 Military Central Hospital from Oct 2015 to Aug 2016. Subjects and Methods: 61 patients with AV were divided into 2 groups: Group 1: 31 patients were treated with He-Ne laser in combination with topical Clindamycin, Group 2: 30 patients were only treated with topical clindamycin. Laser HE-NE was applied 2 times/week n>for 6 weeks. Result: After 3 months of treatment Group 1: very good—51n>n>.6%, good—48.4%. Group 2: very good—30%, good—50% and moderate—20%. Conclusion: n>The combination of He-Ne laser with topical clindamycin shows more rapid clinical improvement compared to topical clindamycin alone in the treatment of mild and moderate AV.
