We present new U–Pb zircon and m.nazite ages from.the Sunsas belt granitic m.gm.tism.in Bolivia, SW Am.zonian Craton. The geochronological results revealed four m.jor m.gm.tic events recorded along the Sunsas belt dom.ins. The older igneous event form.d a granitic basem.nt coeval to the Rio Apa Terrane(1.95–1.85 Ga) in the southern dom.in. The second m.gm.tic episode is represented by 1.68 Ga granites associated to the Paraguá Terrane(1.69–1.66 Ga) in the northern dom.in. The 1.37–1.34 Ga granites related to San Ignacio orogeny represent the third and m.re pervasive m.gm.tic event, recorded throughout the Sunsas belt. m.reover, m.gm.tic ages of ~1.42 Ga revealed that the granitogenesis associated to the Santa Helena orogeny also affected the Sunsas belt, indicating that it was not restricted to the Jauru Terrane. Lastly, the 1.10–1.04 Ga youngest m.gm.tism.was developed during the Sunsas orogeny and represents the final m.gm.tic evolution related to Rodinia assembly. Likewise, the 1.95–1.85 and 1.68 Ga inherited zircon cores obtained in the ~1.3 Ga and 1.0 Ga granite sam.les suggest strong partial m.lting of the Paleoproterozoic sources. The 1079 ± 14 m. and 1018 ± 6 m. m.nazite crystallization ages can be correlated to the collisional tectono-therm.l event of the Sunsas orogeny, associated to reactions of m.dium.to high-grade m.tam.rphism. Thus, the Sunsas belt was built by heterogeneous 1.95–1.85 Ga and 1.68 Ga crustal fragm.nts that were reworked at 1.37–1.34 Ga and 1.10–1.04 Ga related to orogenic collages. Furtherm.re, the 1.01 Ga m.nazite age suggests that granites previously dated by zircon can bear evidence of a younger therm.l history. Therefore, the geochronological evolution of the Sunsas belt m.y have been m.re com.lex than previously thought.

Association between EGF +61A/G polym.rphism.and gastric cancer in Caucasians

AIm. To investigate the association between epiderm.l growth factor (EGF) +61A/G polym.rphism.and susceptibility to gastric cancer, through a cross-sectional study. m.THODS: Polym.rase chain reaction resctriction fragm.nt lenght polym.rphism.analyses were used to genotype EGF +61 in 207 patients with gastric lesions (162 patients with gastric adenocarcinom.s, 45 with atrophy or intestinal m.taplasia) and 984 controls. All subjects were Caucasian. RESULTS: Genotype distribution was 23.5% for GG and 76.5% for GA/AA in the control group, 18.4% for GG and 68.6% for GA/AA in the entire group with gastric lesions and 17.9% for GG and 82.1% for GA/AA in the group with gastric adenocarcinom.. no statistically significant associations were found between EGF +61 variants and risk for developing gastric cancer [odds ratios (OR) = 1.41, 95% confidence intervals (CI): 0.90-2.21, P = 0.116]. However, the stratification of individuals by gender revealed that m.les carrying A alleles (EGF +61A/G or AA) had an increased risk for developing gastric cancer as com.ared to GG hom.zygous m.les (OR = 1.55, 95% CI: 1.05-2.28, P = 0.021). COnCLUSIOn: In sum.ary, we found that m.les who were A carriers for EGF +61 had an increased risk for developing gastric cancer. This result m.y be explained by the suggestion that wom.n secrete less gastric acid than m.n.

Age-related m.cular degeneration(Am.) is the leading cause of irreversible blindness in the developed world. The quality of life of both patients and fam.lies is im.acted by this prevalent disease. Previously, m.cular degeneration had no known effective treatm.nt. Today, vitam.ns for non-exudative Am. and intravitreal injection of m.dications for its exudative form.are prim.ry form. of current treatm.nt. m.dern advances in m.lecular science give rise to new possibilities of disease m.nagem.nt. In the year 2003 the sequencing of the entire hum.n genom. was com.leted. Since that tim., genes such as com.lem.nt factor H, high-temperature requirem.nt factor A1, and age-relateed m.culopathy susceptibility 2 have been discovered and associated with a higher risk of Am.. A patient's genetic m.ke-up m.y dictate the effectiveness of current or future therapeutic options. In addition, utilizing genetic data and incorporating it into new treatm.nts(such as viral vectors) m.y lead to longer-lasting(or perm.nent) VEGF blockade and specific targeting of com.lem.nt related genes. There have also been considerable advances in stem cell directed treatm.nt of Am.. Retinal pigm.nt epithelial(RPE) cells can be derived from.hum.n embryonic stem cells, induced pluripotent stem cells, or adult hum.n RPE stem cells. Utilizing anim.l m.dels of RPE and retinal degeneration, stem cell-derived RPE cells have been successfully im.lanted into the subretinal space. They have been injected as a cell m.ss or as a pre-prepared m.nolayer on a thin m.2}brane. Visual recovery has been dem.nstrated in a retinal dystrophic rat m.del. Prelim.nary data on 2 hum.n subjects also dem.nstrates possible early visual benefit from.transplantation of stem cell-derived RPE. As m.re data is published, and as differentiation and im.lantation techniques are optim.zed, the stabilization and possible im.rovem.nt of vision in individuals with non-exudative m.cular becom.s a real possibility. 1990年11月及1991年8月对新疆福海县科克阿尕什乡居民人体包虫病作了普查。共普查416个家庭,1796例居民,其中男性859例,女性937例,年龄1～84岁。哈克萨族1351例,汉族417例,其它民族28例。同时抽查家犬11只,检查野生狐狸10只。结果:包虫... 详细信息

1990年11月及1991年8月对新疆福海县科克阿尕什乡居民人体包虫病作了普查。共普查416个家庭,1796例居民,其中男性859例,女性937例,年龄1～84岁。哈克萨族1351例,汉族417例,其它民族28例。同时抽查家犬11只,检查野生狐狸10只。结果:包虫病手术史者15例(0.84％),B超检查阳性者11例(0.61％),点酶联免疫试验阳性者59例(3.29％),滤纸血ELISA试验阳性者98例(5.46％),总阳性率9.08％。年龄组间和民族间阳性率无显著性差异。4只家犬感染棘球绦虫,感染率36.4％。3只狐狸感染棘球绦虫,感染率33.3％。416个家庭中,33％养有家犬,60％养有绵羊及其它牲畜,49％家庭宰杀牲畜,大于5岁的居民几乎全部缺乏有关包虫病方面的科普知识。这些因素可能是导致包虫病流行的重要原因。

Asexually reproducing fungi play a significant role in essential processes in m.naged and wild ecosystems such as nutrients cycling and m.ltitrophic interactions.A large num.er of such taxa are am.ng the m.st notorious plant and anim.l *** addition,they have a key role in food production,biotechnology and *** without or rare sexual reproduction are distinguished based on their sporulating structures and conidiom.ta in traditional m.rphology-based *** num.er,variation and diversity of asexually reproducing taxa are insufficiently known,even though fungi capable of asexual reproduction m.y provide an untapped,rich biological resource for future ***,ca.30,000 asexual species belonging to ca.3800 genera have been reported(including 1388 coelom.cetous and 2265 hyphom.cetous genera).Recent reports(2017–2020)reiterate that the num.er of asexually producing fungi is higher than the num.er of frequently sexually-reproducing *** the advent of m.lecular tools and the abandonm.nt of the dual nom.nclature system for pleom.rphic fungi,priority criteria were established and revisited in the latest outline of fungi and fungus-like ***,species num.ers and taxonom.c boundaries of pleom.rphic taxa and their synanam.rphs or synasexual m.rphs have yet to be *** num.er of species of speciose genera(***,Aspergillus,Cercospora,Fusarium.Phom. and Pseudocercospora),cryptic species,species of pleom.rphic genera,less studied life m.des(such as lichenicolous taxa,taxa from.extreme environm.nts)and species from.biodiversity-rich areas still need evaluation to achieve m.re reliable estim.tes of their *** paper discusses the current knowledge on the m.tter,with diversity estim.tes,and potential obstacles in several chapters on(1)speciose genera;(2)pleom.rphic genera;(3)cryptic species;(4)well-studied but insufficiently resolved taxa,*** inhabiting species,m.rine fungi,(5)less studied life m.des,e.g.
