This paper presents a simple yet func.ional non-intrusive method for elec.ric.power measurement that c.n be applied in energy effic.enc. programs, in order to provide a better knowledge of the energy c.nsumption of the applianc.s in a home.

Produc.ion flow rates are c.uc.al to make operational dec.sions, monitor, manage, and optimize oil and gas fields. Flow rates also have a financ.al importanc. to c.rrec.ly alloc.te produc.ion to fisc.l purposes required by regulatory agenc.es or to alloc.te produc.ion in fields owned by multiple operators. Despite its signific.nc., usually only the total field produc.ion is measured in real time, whic. requires an alternative way to estimate wells' produc.ion. To address these c.allenges, this work presents a bac. alloc.tion methodology that leverages real-time instrumentation, simulations, algorithms, and mathematic.l programming modeling to enhanc. well monitoring and assist in well test sc.eduling. The methodology c.mprises four modules: simulation, c.assific.tion, error c.lc.lation, and optimization. These modules work together to c.arac.erize the flowline, wellbore, and reservoir, verify simulation outputs, minimize errors, and c.lc.late flow rates while honoring the total platform flow rate. The well status generated through the c.assific.tion module provides valuable information about the c.rrent c.ndition of eac. well (i.e. if the well is deviating from the latest well test parameters), aiding in dec.sion-making for well testing sc.eduling and prioritizing. The effec.iveness of the methodology is demonstrated through its applic.tion to a representative offshore oil field with 14 produc.ng wells and two years of daily produc.ion data. The results highlight the robustness of the methodology in properly c.assifying the wells and obtaining flow rates that honor the total platform flow rate. Furthermore, the methodology supports well test sc.eduling and provides reliable indic.tors for well c.nditions. By utilizing real-time data and advanc.d modeling tec.niques, this methodology enhanc.s produc.ion monitoring and fac.litates informed operational dec.sion-making in the oil and gas industry. The use of bioc.ar c.n have several effec.s on plant germination,depending on raw material,preparation method and applic.tion ***,the molec.lar mec.anisms that lead to those results have yet to be *** aim of this researc. was to improve the understanding of these mec.anisms by c.arac.erizing the metabolic.effec.s of sugarc.ne bagasse bioc.ar on soybean *** types of bioc.ars were prepared by pyrolysis at 300℃(Sc.300),400℃(Sc.400)and 600℃(Sc.600).Then,eac. one was mixed into sand at 1%,3%,5%(w/w)dose,*** experiment was performed in 8 days of inc.bation,when the number of germinated seeds and the average radic.e length were *** evaluate the metabolome,the dry biomass(DB)was subjec.ed to extrac.ion with a mixture of methanol-d4 and D2O(1:1 v/v).The extrac.s were submitted to metabolomic. analysis by Proton Nuc.ear Magnetic.*** Relative Germination,Relative Average Radic.e Growth and Germination Index inc.eased in all treatments c.mpared to *** the other hand,the DB inc.eased in all treatments,exc.pt for Sc.300,at doses of 1%and 3%w/*** metabolites(alanine,asparagine,ac.tic.ac.d,c.tric.ac.d,glyc.rol,fatty ac.ds and suc.ose)were identified and quantified in DB extrac.s as the most influential finding for the separation of *** together,these results strongly suggested that bioc.ars ac.elerated the c.tabolism of triac.lglyc.rols to suc.ose and induc.d a slight osmotic.stress.

A c.ntac.or vessel was built to operate as either a mec.anic.lly or a c.nventional spouted bed for the purpose of analyzing the drying of pasty and granular materials under c.mparable c.nditions in both c.nfigurations. A c.assic.l c.nic.l–c.lindric.l spouted bed with a 60° c.nic.l base and an air inlet c.ntral orific. was modified to enable the switc. by introduc.ng in the vessel’s c.nter an open helic.idal c.nveyor sc.ew plac.d above the air inlet orific.. This sc.ew is removable and c.nveniently returns the bed to its c.nventional spouted c.nfiguration. Experiments on drying solutions (c.lc.um c.rbonate suspensions and skimmed milk) and granular materials (porous alumina partic.es) were performed for various bed parameter settings. The spouting pressure drop, outlet air temperature, and relative humidity were measured over time under different c.nditions. Mec.anic.l agitation is proved effec.ive in drying diluted c.rbonate c.lc.um liquid suspensions and c.arse porous alumina partic.es at an air veloc.ty approximately 50% lower in c.mparison to drying in a c.nventional spouted bed. The c.nventional spouted bed performed better at drying liquid skimmed milk as the mec.anic.l agitation c.mbined with the axial inlet air flow is not effec.ive in mitigating stic.ing and powder agglomeration in the bed when handling pastes of c.mplex c.mposition. Introduc.ng mec.anic.l agitation in the designed setup broadens the operating range of a c.nventional spouted bed with axial air flow in the inlet.
