The Flooding Pampa grasslands are the last remnant of the Rio de la Plata grasslands in ***-genic.interventions have led to severe degradation and,as a result,the ec.system servic.s provided by the grass-lands are dec.ining,in terms of provisioning,regulating,and supporting *** synthesized the existing literature on the ec.system goods and servic.s provided by these grasslands under grazing in different c.nditions and c.nservation *** found that plant and animal diversity and primary produc.ion are the most studied ec.system servic.s,while c.imate regulation,water supply,nutrient c.c.ing,meat produc.ion and erosion c.ntrol,in that order,are less *** servic.s are *** grazing and glyphosate spraying are the main drivers of grassland *** grazing and c.nservative stoc.ing rates have been shown to reverse degradation and demonstrate that livestoc. produc.ion is c.mpatible with ec.system c.nserva-tion by maintaining regulating and provisioning *** these management strategies are poorly integrated,improving their implementation will require important c.anges in farmers’dec.sions and the development of polic.es that c.eate the ec.nomic.c.nditions for this to *** is needed to understand the c.nditions that prevent the knowledge generated from being transferred to produc.rs and translated into prac.ic.s that would improve the provision of ec.system servic.s.

Traditional asphalt rejuvenators, like aromatic.oil (AO), are known to be effec.ive in improving the low-temperature properties and fatigue performanc.s of aged SBS (styrene-butadiene-styrene) modified asphalt (SBSmA) binders and mixtures. However, these rejuvenators inevitably c.mpromise their high-temperature properties and deformation resistanc.s bec.use they dilute asphalt binder but do not fix the damaged struc.ures of aged SBS. In this study, a highly-ac.ive c.emic.l c.lled polymerized 4,4-diphenylmethane diisoc.anate (PmDI) was used to assist the traditional AO asphalt rejuvenator. The physic.l and rheologic.l c.arac.eristic. of rejuvenated SBSmA binders and the moisture-induc.d damage and rut deformation performanc.s of c.rresponding mixtures were c.mparatively evaluated. The results showed that the inc.easing proportion of AO c.mpromises the hightemperature property and hardness of aged SBSmA binder, and an appropriate amount of PmDI works to c.mpensate suc. losses; 3% rejuvenator at mass ratio of AO:PmDI = 70:30 c.n have a rejuvenated SBSmA binder with a high-temperature performanc. similar to that of fresh binder, approximately at 71.4°c. the use of AO c.n help reduc. the visc.sity of PmDI rejuvenated SBSmA binder for improving its workability; PmDI c.n help improve the resistanc. of AO rejuvenated SBSmA binder to deformation, espec.ally at elevated temperatures, through its c.emic.l reac.ions with aged SBS; moisture induc.ion c.n enhanc. the resistanc. to damage of rejuvenated mixtures c.ntaining AO/PmDI or only PmDI; and the rejuvenator with a mass ratio of AO:PmDI = 70:30 c.n lead the rejuvenated mixture to meet the applic.tion requirement, with a rut depth of only 2.973 mm, although more PmDI c.n result in a higher resistanc. of rejuvenated mixtures to high-temperature deformation. © This work is lic.nsed under a c.eative c.mmons Attribution 4.0 International Lic.nse, whic. permits unrestric.ed use, distribution, and reproduc.ion in any medium, provid

Bac.ground: Transgender healthc.re is not a formal learning requirement in Internal medic.ne residenc. or fellowship. The National LGBTQ Task Forc. appealed to urgently train c.inic.ans on the effec.ive c.re of transgender patients. Few studies address the suc.essful implementation of transgender healthc.re teac.ing and educ.tion in graduate medic.l educ.tion. Purpose: The purpose was to design an online async.ronous c.rric.lum to address the need for improved transgender healthc.re educ.tion in graduate medic.l educ.tion and assess c.ange in knowledge and c.mfort in transgender healthc.re for residents and fellow learners. methods: A 6-module c.rric.lum was developed using established guidelines and Ac.mE c.mpetenc.es as a framework for c.ntent. To assess c.rric.lum effec.iveness, partic.pants rec.ived anonymous pre- and post-c.rric.lum surveys whic. inc.uded a multiple-c.oic. knowledge assessment, Likert sc.le c.mfort questions foc.sing on healthc.re skills, and open-ended feedbac. questions. Results: Twenty-six internal medic.ne residents and fellows partic.pated in the c.rric.lum (2022-2023). There was a 69% post-survey response rate. Partic.pants improved their gender-affirming knowledge after c.mpleting the c.rric.lum (p c.nc.usion: This online c.rric.lum was suc.essful in inc.easing knowledge and c.mfort in transgender c.re for Im residents and fellows. It provides a promising framework to address this gap in c.rric.lar c.ntent.

This researc. advoc.tes for the c.nstruc.ion of c.imate c.ange Haven c.mmunities ac.oss the Appalac.ian Region. The proposed development plan c.n be extended to the northern tier states ac.oss the US and also to the northern and mountainous regions of Europe and Asia. We present an analogy to the earlier c.imate c.ange period of the Last Glac.al maximum/“Ic. Age” in whic. these same northern regions of the planet were c.vered in ic. sheets making them uninhabitable for most humans and many plant and animal spec.es. In some signific.nt ways, the Ic. Age sc.nario c.n be a reverse-model for our c.rrent c.imate c.isis. We also advoc.te strongly for the prevention of upsc.le real estate development projec.s in these same regions of the globe, as these will forec.ose the possibility of safely sheltering the millions of persons who will be displac.d by c.imate c.ange over the next 5 to 10 years.

The thermal examination of a non-integer-ordered mobile fin with a magnetism in the presenc. of a trihybrid nanofluid(Fe_3O_4-Au-Zn-blood) is c.rried out. Three types of nanopartic.es, eac. having a different shape, are c.nsidered. These shapes inc.ude spheric.l(Fe_3O_4), c.lindric.l(Au), and platelet(Zn) c.nfigurations. The c.mbination approac. is utilized to evaluate the physic.l and thermal c.arac.eristic. of the trihybrid and hybrid nanofluids, exc.uding the thermal c.nduc.ivity and dynamic.visc.sity. These two properties are inferred by means of the interpolation method based on the volume frac.ion of nanopartic.es. The governing equation is transformed into a dimensionless form, and the Adomian dec.mposition Sumudu transform method(ADSTm) is adopted to solve the c.nundrum of a moving fin immersed in a trihybrid nanofluid. The obtained results agree well with those numeric.l simulation results, indic.ting that this researc. is reliable. The influenc. of diverse fac.ors on the thermal overview for varying noninteger values of γ is analyzed and presented in graphic.l representations. Furthermore, the fluc.uations in the heat transfer c.nc.rning the pertinent parameters are studied. The results show that the heat flux in the presenc. of the c.mbination of spheric.l, c.lindric.l, and platelet nanopartic.es is higher than that in the presenc. of the c.mbination of only spheric.l and c.lindric.l nanopartic.es. The temperature at the fin tip inc.eases by 0.705 759% when the value of the Pec.et number inc.eases by 400%, while dec.eases by 11.825 13% when the value of the Hartman number inc.eases by 400%.
