历史、纪念与记忆中的革命

法国大革命的激烈程度远超出了其特定历史的时间范围。由于它对社会和政治现实提出了质疑,革命“事件”一直是辩论的主题,这促使其遗产在法国内外的更新和扩展。无论是过去还是现在,很少有历史事件能够如此生机勃勃地延续至今且显示出持续的现实意义。从一开始便持续关注大革命的历史编纂学是这种永恒纪念的载体之一,此外还有许多其他渠道。因此,从1889年开始,出现了各种纪念活动,而1939年和1989年的纪念活动也引发了诸多论战和争论,敦促人们反思革命遗产的特性。最后,从1789年至今,对大革命的记忆也同样表现为对其成就的崇拜者和毁者之间的激烈对立,从文字到静态或动态图像,以及歌曲和演讲等媒介都表现出了具有象征性的活力。基于上述原因,法国大革命远非一个冷冰冰、毫无生气的实体,它是一个历史“时刻”,其痕迹至今仍环绕着我们,而对它的记忆则通过争论不断更新的问题而得以延续。

The evolution of properties of crosslinked polyethylene(XLPE)-based insulating mate-rials under radio-chemical ageing conditions is presented and *** total,seven different polymer compounds were tested,characterised by an increasing quantity of additives,for example,antioxidants(AOs)and fillers as flame *** were analysed using different testing techniques,that is,Fourier Transform Infra-Red and dielectric *** allowed a broad characterisation of the polymer,bringing to good correlations between the arising of new chemical groups caused by ageing and the modifications on the complex ***-based AOs are found to be the most efficient in terms of protection against *** the contrary,flame retardants are concluded not to have any impact on the material *** data were then treated using the principal component *** data treatment successfully distinguished the material composition(with and without additives)and the ageing *** results confirm the relevance of this analysis in understanding the impact of irradiation on the chemical and functional properties of the polymer materials studied.

The development of a multiple level underground mine is a complex task in which geology,engineering,ground control,and unit operations are integrated into a single mine *** components are interdependent and must function cohesively to ensure a profitable underground mining *** optimize reserve recovery,mine planning should begin from the lowest level and progress *** limits any misjudgments or oversights of a given level affecting the underlying levels and ensures the ability to maximize recovery from each *** planning should start with the exploration and characterization of the geologic *** the reserve geology and quality is well understood,then mine planning can begin with respect to the following:(1)orientation of mine works with respect to horizontal stress;(2)access to the reserve;(3)determination of opening widths;(4)selection of back,floor horizons and pillar centers;(5)selection of development and secondary mining heights;(6)appropriate inter-burden thicknesses;and(7)examining the stability of the multiple level mine through numerical *** multiple level mine design process and decisions are presented through a case history *** theme is that there is one opportunity to"get it right"and many chances to overlook a small aspect within the design that will plague the mine throughout all levels and through the entirety of its operating life.

Red blood cells(RBCs)can act as carriers for therapeutic agents and can substantially improve the safety,pharmacokinetics,and pharmacodynamics of many *** RBCs integrity and lifespan is important for the efficacy of RBCs as drug *** investigated the impact of drug encapsulation by hypotonic dialysis on RBCs physiology and *** parameters were compared between processed RBCs loaded with l-asparaginase(“eryaspase”),processed RBCs without drug and non-processed *** RBCs were less hydrated and displayed a reduction of intracellular *** observed a change in the metabolomic but not in the proteomic profile of processed *** process caused moderate morphological changes and was accompanied by an increase of RBCs-derived Extracellular Vesicles *** a decrease in deformability,processed RBCs were not mechanically retained in a spleen-mimicking device and had increased surface-to-volume ratio and osmotic *** RBCs half-life was not significantly affected in a mouse model and our previous phase 1 clinical study showed that encapsulation of asparaginase in RBCs prolonged its in vivo half-life compared to free *** study demonstrated that encapsulation by hypotonic dialysis may affect certain characteristics of RBCs but does not significantly affect the in vivo longevity of RBCs or their drug carrier function.

Understanding consistencies and discrepancies in characterizing diversity and quantity of phytoplankton is essential for better modeling ecosystem *** this study,eukaryotic phytoplankton in the Pearl River Estuary,South China Sea were investigated using nuclear 18S rRNA and plastid 16S or 23S rRNA genes and pigment *** was found that 18S abundance poorly explained the variations in total chlorophyll a(Chl-a).However,the ratios of log-transformed 18S abundance to Chl-a in the major phytoplankton groups were generally environment dependent,suggesting that the ratio has potential as an indicator of the physiological state of *** richness of 18S-based operational taxonomic units was positively correlated with the richness of 16S-based amplicon sequence variants of the whole phytoplankton community,but insignifcant or weak for individual phytoplankton ***,the 18S based,rather than the 16S based,community structure had a greater similarity to pigment-based *** to the pigment data,the proportion of haptophytes in the 18S dataset,and diatoms and cryptophytes in the 16S dataset,were *** study highlights that 18S metabarcoding tends to refect biomass-based community organization of eukaryotic *** there were lower copy numbers of plastid 16S than 18S per genome,metabarcoding of 16S probably approximates cell abundance-based community *** in biomass organization of the pigment-based community were sensitive to environmental *** together,multiple methodologies are recommended to be applied to more accurately profle the diversity and community composition of phytoplankton in natural ecosystems.

Free energy lattice Boltzmann methods are well suited for the simulation of two phase flow *** model for the interface is based on well understood physical *** most cases a numerical interface is used instead of the physical one because of lattice resolution *** this paper we present a framework where we can both follow the droplet behavior in a coarse scale and solve the interface in a fine scale *** apply the method for the simulation of a droplet using an interface to diameter size ratio of 1 to *** a second simulation,a small droplet coalesces with a 42 times larger droplet producing on it only a small capillary wave that propagates and dissipates.

The severity of the hot and humid conditions to which miners are exposed increases as the depth of the work site *** can cause heat stress that can greatly affect the health and safety of *** resolve this,a cooling garment has been developed that uses an atmospheric discharge of liquid CO2 to create a cool microclimate with an average temperature of 12.5(±0.4)℃ beneath the *** evaluate the garment's cooling efficiency,19 male subjects participated in an experimental *** two modes,cooling on and off,were *** physiological differences were found between the two modes after minute 27(pmaximum difference of 10 beats per minute)and the internal body temperature(maximum difference of 0.33℃).It was found that the modes also affected the subjects'*** ON-mode was associated with better well-being and thermal comfort,and reduced humidity *** of exertion were lower in the ON-mode condition from minute *** findings provide strong evidence of the ability of this cooling garment to reduce heat stress in hot and humid conditions similar to those encountered in deep mines.
