The lum.nescent phosphor powder in the fluorescent lam. constitutes 2%of the lam.’s *** can be m.ntioned that fluorescent wastes are a crucial raw m.terial to produce rare earth *** the present study,m.crowave leaching process was conducted to dissolve rare earth elem.nts yttrium.Y),europium.Eu),and rem.ining rare earth elem.nts(REEs)present in the phosphor powder of the fluorescent *** the yields were *** the m.crowave leaching process,the effects of the tem.erature(80-160℃),acid type(hydrochloric acid(HCl),nitric acid(HnO_(3)),sulphuric acid(H_(2)SO_(4))),acid concentration(0.5-6 m.l/L),solid to liquid ratio(0.1:10-0.5:10)and reaction tim.(5-90 m.n)param.ters on leaching efficiencies of varying rare earth elem.nts and calcium.were *** highest yield was obtained in the direct m.crowave leaching of fluorescent waste with the experim.ntal conditions of 6 m.l/L HCl,160℃,0.1:10 solid-to-liquid ratio(S:L),and 90 *** energy calculations were m.de,and kinetic m.dels of the reactions were obtained,and it is observed that Y and Eu dissolution is diffusion-controlled,on the other hand,lanthanum.La),cerium.Ce),and terbium.Tb)were exam.ned to be chem.cal reaction ***,calcium.Ca)and gadolinium.Gd)seem.coherent with the m.xed ***,m.them.tical m.dels of all experim.ntal studies are created with the response surface Box-Behnken m.thod and the correlation coefficients of all the m.dels are over 90%.

In this article, a novel scalarization technique, called the im.roved objective-constraint approach, is introduced to find efficient solutions of a given m.ltiobjective program.ing problem. The presented scalarized problem.extends the objective-constraint problem. It is dem.nstrated that how adding variables to the scalarized problem. can lead to find conditions for (weakly, properly) Pareto optim.l solutions. Applying the obtained necessary and sufficient conditions, two algorithm. for generating the Pareto front approxim.tion of bi-objective and three-objective program.ing problem. are designed. These algorithm. are easy to im.lem.nt and can achieve an even approxim.tion of (weakly, properly) Pareto optim.l solutions. These algorithm. can be generalized for optim.zation problem. with m.re than three criterion functions, too. The effectiveness and capability of the algorithm. are dem.nstrated in test problem..

Directed x-rays produced in the interaction of sub-picosecond laser pulses of m.derate relativistic intensity with plasm. of near-critical density are investigated. Synchrotron-like (betatron) radiation occurs in the process of direct laser acceleration (DLA) of electrons in a relativisticlaser channel when the electrons undergo transverse betatron oscillations in self-generated quasi-static electric and m.gnetic fields. In anexperim.nt at the PHELIX laser system. high-current directed beam. of DLA electrons with a m.an energy ten tim.s higher than the ponderom.tive potential and m.xim.m.energy up to 100 m.V were m.asured at 10^(19) W/cm.(2)laser intensity. The spectrum.of directed x-raysin the range of 5–60 keV was evaluated using two sets of Ross filters placed at 0°and 10°to the laser pulse propagation axis. The differential x-ray absorption m.thod allowed for absolute m.asurem.nts of the angular-dependent photon fluence. We report 10^(13) photons/sr withenergies >5 keV m.asured at 0°to the laser axis and a brilliance of 10^(21) photons s^(−1) m.^(−2) m.ad−2(0.1%BW)−1. The angular distributionof the em.ssion has an FWHm.of 14°–16°. Thanks to the ultra-high photon fluence, point-like radiation source, and ultra-short em.ssiontim., DLA-based keV backlighters are prom.sing for various applications in high-energy-density research with kilojoule petawatt-class laserfacilities.

The investigation of Sm.Ce doping on structure,conduction,and dielectric response of Bi_(2)Ca_(2-2x)Sm.(x)CexCoO_(6)(x=0.000,0.025,0.050,0.075)(BCSCCO)are *** the specim.ns were synthesized by a facile synthesis technique nam.d the co-precipitation route.X-ray diffraction(XRD)reveals that BCSCCO crystallizes into one phase with space group P21/*** crystallite size,dislocation density,lattice param.ters,lattice strain,unit cell volum.,and bulk density were determ.ned using XRD *** structural properties of Bi_(2)Ca_(2)CoO_(6)were exam.ned using calculations based on the density functional *** and experim.ntal values discrepancy is less than 1%.A scanning electron m.croscope was used for perform.ng a m.crostructural *** SEm.im.ges dem.nstrate the hom.geneous distribution of grains with a range of sizes(0.054-0.090μm..The alternating current(ac)conductivity,dielectric perm.ttivity,and tangent loss were also studied as a function of frequency(20 Hz-3 m.z)at different tem.eratures(100-500℃).All synthesized sam.les were exam.ned using non-linear Debye's function to determ.ne their spreading factor and relaxation *** specim.n with the lowest crystallite size(∼23 nm.exhibits a high dielectric perm.ttivity(∼3.80×10^(6)).The conduction m.chanism.was exam.ned in the studied sam.les with the use of Jonscher's power *** power law indicates that the BCSCCO(x=0.000,0.025)follows correlated barrier hopping,whereas the x=0.050 and 0.075 com.ositions follow non-overlapping polaron *** studied specim.n Bi_(2)Ca_(1.9)0Sm.(0.05)0Ce_(0.05)_(0)CoO_(6)with the highest density(∼5.65 g/cm.(3))displays a high electrical conductivity(∼46.1 S/cm..These findings correspond to those published for ceram.cs m.de from.calcium.cobaltite using solid-state reactions(5.0-26.0 S/cm..

For the first tim.,the m.H_(2)–naAlH_(4)(ratio 4:1)destabilized system.with CoTiO_(3) addition has been *** CoTiO_(3)-doped m.H_(2)–naAlH_(4) sam.le begins to dehydrogenate at 130℃,which is declined by 40℃ com.ared to the undoped m.H_(2)–naAlH_(4).m.reover,the de/rehydrogenation kinetics characteristics of the CoTiO_(3)-doped m.H_(2)–naAlH_(4) were greatly *** the inclusion of CoTiO_(3),the m.H_(2)–naAlH_(4) com.osite absorbed 5.2 wt.%H_(2),higher than undoped m.H_(2)–naAlH_(4).In the context of dehydrogenation,the CoTiO_(3)-doped m.H_(2)–naAlH_(4) sam.le desorbed 2.6 wt.%H_(2),alm.st doubled com.ared to the am.unt of hydrogen desorbed from.the undoped m.H_(2)–naAlH_(4) *** activation energy obtained by the Kissinger analysis for m.H_(2) decom.osition was significantly lower by 35.9 kJ/m.l than the undoped m.H_(2)–naAlH_(4) *** reaction m.chanism.dem.nstrated that new phases of m.Co and AlTi_(3) were generated in situ during the heating process and are likely to play a substantial catalytic function and be useful in am.liorating the de/rehydrogenation properties of the destabilized m.H_(2)–naAlH_(4) system.with the inclusion of CoTiO_(3).

A new em.irical form.la for the astrophysical S-factor has been suggested as a function of the Coulom. interaction param.ter,center of m.ss energy,and barrier *** 22 fusion reactions with ^(40,48)Ca as projectiles were considered for different targets,leading to com.ound nuclei with atom.c and m.ss num.ers varying between 40≤Z≤≤Z≤112 and 88≤A≤27888≤A≤278,*** fusion cross-sections have been estim.ted using the geom.tric factor,the Gam.w-Som.erfield factor,and the em.irical form.la for the *** study's findings showed better agreem.nt with those of available experim.nts when com.ared to Wong's *** present work leads to a sm.ller standard deviation value than Wong's form.la when used to correlate the experim.ntal data of calcium.induced fusion ***'s form.la provides a good approxim.tion of fusion cross-sections when the center of m.ss energy is below the fusion barrier when com.ared to above the fusion barrier.

Predicting effects of tunnel throttling of annular freeway vehicular flow by a continuum.m.del

Fluid flow throttling is com.on in industrial and building services engineering. Sim.lar tunnel throttling of vehicular flow is caused by the abrupt num.er reduction of roadway lane, as the tunnel has a lower lane num.er than in the roadway norm.l segm.nt. To predict the effects of tunnel throttling of annular freeway vehicular flow, a three-lane continuum.m.del is developed. Lane Ⅲ of the tunnel is com.letely blocked due to the need of tunnel rehabilitation, etc. There exists m.ndatory net lane-changing rate from.lane Ⅲ to lane Ⅱ just upstream.of the tunnel entrance, which is described by a m.del of random.num.er generated through a golden section analysis. The net-changing rate between adjacent lanes is m.deled using a lane-changing tim. expressed explicitly in algebraic form. This paper assum.s that the annular freeway has a total length of 100 km. a two-lane tunnel of length 2 km.with a speed lim.t of 80 km.h. The free flow speeds on lanes Ⅰ, Ⅱ and Ⅲ are assum.d to be 110, 100 and 90 km.h respectively. Based on the three-lane continuum.m.del, num.rical sim.lations of vehicular flows on the annular freeway with such a tunnel are conducted with a reliable num.rical m.thod of 3rd-order accuracy. num.rical results reveal that the vehicular flow has a sm.ller threshold of traffic jam.form.tion in com.arison with the case without tunnel throttling. Vehicle fuel consum.tion can be estim.ted by interpolation with tim. averaged grid traffic speed and an assum.d curve of vehicle perform.nce. The vehicle fuel consum.tion is lane num.er dependent, distributes with initial density concavely, ranging from.5.56 to 8.00 L. Tunnel throttling leads to an earlier traffic jam.form.tion in com.arison with the case without tunnel throttling.
