This study was conducted to compare effects of 3 physical forms of feed including mash(diet 1), pellet(diet 2) and complete feed block(CFB; diet 3) on digestion, fermentation and performance of ***-one lambs with an initial average body weight of 26 ± 2.5 kg and 6 ± 1.5 months of age were assigned through a completely randomized design to 3 treatments and 7 replicates. The experimental treatments had the same formulation. The results of present experiment showed that CFB significantly increased feed intake and nutrient digestibility(P 0.05), except acetic acid(P < 0.05). The rumen ammonia nitrogen(NH3-N), mixed rumen protozoa population(RPP), Entodiniums spp., Epidiniums spp., blood urea nitrogen(BUN) concentration, rumination time adjusted for dry matter(DM), neutral detergent fiber(NDF), acid detergent fiber(ADF) intake, and total body weight gain of lambs in CFB diet were the highest among all diets(P < 0.05). Feed conversion ratio at days 31 to 45 and whole experimental period were better in CFB than in other diets(P < 0.05). Overall, according to the findings of the present study, among 3 physical forms of the diets, CFB had the best efficiency due to improvement of nutrient digestibility, rumen fermentation and performance of lambs. Therefore, the CFB diet offers the best result in lambs compared with mash and pellet diets.

This study was conducted in Juniperus excels a stands on the southern slopes of Iran’s Alborz Mountains,to determine the effects of fire and seasonal variations on soil physicochemical properties and enzyme activities.A total of 64 composite soil s amples were randomly collected in the spring and fall from two burned and unburned sites at depths of 0-10 and 10-20 *** results of a two-way ANOVA analysis indicate that fire increased the organic carbon(OC),total nitrogen(TN),and available phosphorus(P_(ava)) contents of the soil by 16%,59%,and 53%,***,when burned sites were compared to unburned sites,the activities of acid phosphatase(ACP) and urease enzymes increased by 73% and 12%,***,fire did not affect soil texture,bulk density(BD),pH,electric conductivity(EC),exchangeable potassium(Kexc),or the activities of alkaline phosphatase(ALP) and *** to two-way ANOVA results,OC,TN,P_(ava),K_(exc),and EC values were significantly higher in the fall,whereas pH and ALP values were significantly higher in the ***,phosphorous and dehydrogenase activity were significantly different in selected soil factors at 0-10 and10-20 cm *** interaction of fire,season,and soil depth were significant for phosphorous and ***,the activity of ALP correlated well with pH(r=0.68),P(r=-0.74),OC(r=-0.53),and TN(r=-0.37),whereas the activity of ACP correlated significantly with OC(r=0.64) and TN(r=0.71).Two years after the fire,soil properties in *** a stands had either improved or remained unaffected,returning to pre-fire ***,soil chemical properties varied significantly across sampling seasons,which should be considered when comparing and interpreting soil data in future research.

Based on the data from piezometers, well logs, geophysical surveys and the interferometric synthetic aperture radar（In SAR） technique, this study investigates the main causes of land subsidence in Damaneh City, Iran. The size, openings and direction of fissures were measured by micrometer and compass. The locations of fissures and wall cracks were determined by GPS. The geoelectrical data were used to determine the composition, thickness, depth and shape of lower parts of the aquifer. Groundwater fluctuations were evaluated by available piezometers. The In SAR technique was used to measure land deformation from space and to map the dense changes of surface displacements. The results indicate that the main cause of ground subsidence is the decline of groundwater heads and changes in composition and thickness of compressible lacustrine sediments. The subsidence map obtained from the radar data of ASAR sensor of ENVISAT satellite shows that the subsidence zone is mainly in northern city that is underlain by very thick fine sediments. The subsidence rates from March to December 2005 and from July 2011 to January 2012 are 6.7 and 7.0 cm/a, respectively. The results also show good correlations among the formation of earth features, decline in groundwater head and thickness of fine-grained sediments. We recommend that the groundwater withdrawal for agricultural and industrial sectors should be restricted and urban expansion in the northern part of the city should be constrained.

We conducted the first light curve study of the binary star EL Tuc within the Binary Systems of South and North project's *** photometric observations were made using standard multiband BVR_cI_c filters at an observatory in *** presented a new ephemeris for EL Tuc and a linear fit to the O–C diagram,utilizing our extracted times of minima and additional *** employed the PHysics Of Eclipsing BinariEs Python code and the Markov chain Monte Carlo approach for the system's light curve *** target system's light curve solution required a cold starspot on the hotter *** conclude that EL Tuc is a total contact binary system with a low mass ratio of q=0.172±0.002,an orbital inclination of i=83°.74±0°.40,and a fillout factor of f=53.7%±1.6%.We used the P-a relationship and the Gaia Data Release 3 parallax method to determine the absolute parameters of EL Tuc to compare the precision of our *** system was classified as W-type based on the mass and effective temperature of the companion *** positions of the systems were depicted on the M-L,M-R,T-M,and *** relationship between the spectroscopic and photometric mass ratios of binaries was discussed.

Dynamic compaction is a cost-effective method commonly used for improvement of sandy soils. Anumber of researchers have investigated experimentally and numerically the improvement parametersof soils using dynamic compaction, such as crater depth, improvement depth, and radial improvement,however, these parameters are not studied for improvement adjacent to the slopes or trenches. In thisresearch, four different slopes with different inclinations are modeled numerically using the finiteelement code ABAQUS, and impact loads of dynamic compaction are applied. The static factors of safetyare kept similar for all trenches and determined numerically by application of gravity loads to the slopeusing strength reduction method （SRM）. The analysis focuses on crater depth and improvement regionwhich are compared to the state of flat ground. It can be observed that compacted area adjacent to theslopes is narrower and slightly away from the slope compared to the flat state. In the United States,an unexpected and severe increase in coal miners’lung diseases in the late 1990s prompted researchers to investigate the causes of the disease *** study aims to scrutinize the effects of various mining parameters,including coal rank,mine size,mine operation type,coal seam height,and geographical location on the prevalence of coal worker’s pneumoconiosis(CWP)in surface and underground coal mines.A comprehensive dataset was created using the *** Safety and Health Administration(MSHA)Employment and Accident/Injury *** information was merged based on the mine ID by utilizing SQL data management software.A total number of 123,589 mine-year observations were included in the statistical *** Estimating Equation(GEE)model was used to conduct a statistical analysis on a total of 29,707,and 32,643 mine-year observations for underground and surface coal mines,*** results of the econometrics approach revealed that coal workers in underground coal mines are at a greater risk of CWP comparing to those of surface coal ***,underground coal mines in the Appalachia and Interior regions are at a higher risk of CWP prevalence than the Western *** coal mines in the Appalachian coal region are more likely to CWP development than miners in the Western *** analysis also indicated that coal workers working in smaller mines are more vulnerable to CWP than those in large mine ***,coal workers in thin-seam underground mine operations are more likely to develop CWP.

Experiments were conducted in an 8 m long,40 cm wide,and 60 cm deep re-circulating flume with vegetated banks and gravel bed to study the effects of accelerating and decelerating flows on the flow *** dip phenomenon was observed in velocity profiles under decelerating flow and the velocity defect law was not suitable due to the effect of vegetated *** the vegetated banks, the turbulence intensities illustrated convex distribution for both accelerating and decelerating flows. Application of quadrant analysis revealed that the effect of vegetated banks is important on the flow structure and the Reynolds stress *** and decelerating flows did not show a significant difference on percentage of time occupied by each kind of turbulent event within bursting cycle,but affected the shape of joint probability distributions of turbulent intensities in the horizontal and vertical directions.

Objective:To explore the effect of black radish(Raphanus sativus *** niger)root extract on liver enzymes,oxidative stress,and histopathological alterations in mice with sodium valproate-induced ***:Thirty-two mice were divided into four groups:the control group received drinking water by gavage,the second group was administered with 100 mg/kg of sodium valproate,the third group received 300 mg/kg of black radish root extract,and the fourth group was given both sodium valproate(100 mg/kg)and black radish root extract(300 mg/kg).After 28 days,the mice were euthanized,and serum levels of aspartate aminotransferase(AST),alanine aminotransferase(ALT),and alkaline phosphatase(ALP),along with liver malondialdehyde(MDA),reactive oxygen species(ROS),mitochondrial parameters,tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α)gene expression,and histopathological changes were ***:Sodium valproate caused hepatic damage in mice,characterized by elevated serum levels of liver enzymes,increased MDA and ROS levels and TNF-αgene expression,as well as histopathological *** black radish root extract significantly alleviated sodium valproate-caused hepatic injury by decreasing the serum levels of ALT and AST,MDA,ROS,TNF-αgene expression,as well as mitochondrial impairment,but did not have a significant effect on sodium valproate-induced histopathological ***:The black radish root extract demonstrates protective effects against sodium valproate-induced liver injury,possibly through mitigating oxidative stress,mitochondrial impairment,and inflammatory mediator expression.
