In order to exploit the intra-view and inter-view dependencies in stereo video coding, a fast joint motion and disparity estimation algorithm is proposed in this paper. An efficient search strategy based on the motion-disparity constraint is developed, in which both the motion and disparity vectors can be obtained simultaneously with low complexity. Moreover, a credible initial predictive vector set is designed with the aid of the temporal and spatial neighboring blocks so that the coding efficiency can be further enhanced. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can reduce more than 96% coding time compared with the JMVM full search with a negligible quality drop.

Molecular dynamics （MD） simulations were used to study a sliding friction process between DLC films on various boundary conditions. The experimental results revealed that, in the absence of a lubricant, a transfer film between the DLC films was formed. In contrast, when the oil or water lubricants were added to lubricate between the DLC films, a boundary lubrication layer was found. The friction forces on the water and oil lubrication were almost the same, but the friction force in the absence of a lubricant was larger than those on the water and oil lubrication. The conclusions were in good agreement with the experiments.

The improvements of microstructures and properties of a high strength aluminum cast alloy were studied. The effects of rare earth elements on the microstructures and mechanical properties of the high strength cast alloy Al-Cu-Mg-Si were investigated. The result shows that the addition of rare earth elements can change the microstructures in refining the grain size of the alloy and making the needle-like and laminar eutectic Si to a granular Si. With the increase of the rare earth, the tensile strength and elongation of the alloy increase first and then fall down. The mechanical properties of the alloy will reach the highest value when the content of rare earth elements is about 0.7%.

We presented the analysis of the incomplete conduction in bonding medium in high power GaN-based light-emitting diode (LED) packages. A numerical study was carried out with parametric model to understand the junction temperature variation due to bonding medium defects. Transient thermal measurement was performed to evaluate LED’s junction temperature. Thermal resistance from chip to lead frame was 20 K/W in our sample LED. It was suggested that only 60% of the surface area of the bonding medium was involved in the thermal conduction. This result was also supported by the SEM image. Blocking of thermal path induced by ineffective area of the bonding medium was regarded as a factor of its thermal resistance. Thus, the effective area of the bonding medium should be included in the FEM model and considered as another important factor in high power LED’s thermal management.

Study on fracture behavior of SiCp/A356 composites

The fracture behavior of SiCp/A356 composite at room and high temperatures was studied. Under tensile stress condition at room temperature, the fracture is mostly a combination of the brittle fracture of SiC particles and ductile fracture of A356 matrix. As the tensile temperature increases, the composite changes the main fracture behavior to the separation fracture of the bonding surface between SiC particles and A356 matrix. When the tensile temperature reaches 573 K, the fracture behavior of the composites is almost the whole separation fracture of the bonding surface, which is the main strengthening mechanism at high temperature. Under the cycle stress condition at room and high temperatures, the main fracture behavior of the composites is always a combination of the brittle fracture of SiC particles and ductile fracture of A356 matrix. However, under the cycle stress at high temperature, cycle behavior of the composites changes from cycle hardening at room temperature to the cycle softening at high temperature.

Nanomechanical Properties of Molecular Deposition Film

Two nanomechanical properties of the moleculor deposition （ MD ） film deposited on the Au substrate were studied. The first is its nanotribological property investigated by an atomic force microscope, which indicates that the deposition of the MD film could reduce the frictional force. The second is its nanoindent property studied by a nano-indenter. The results show that, after the MD film is deposited on the Au substrate , the elastic modulus, hardness and load decreased all, moreover, the elastic deformation increased and the plastic deformation decreased, which indicates that the MD film can improve the nanomechanical properties of the Au substrate.

Semantic focused crawler is an important part of semantic vertical search *** is receiving increasing attention as a well founded alternative to search web with the problem of locating topical resource on entire *** order to retrieval documents related to a given topic,in this paper,we propose QBLP Algorithm which enable crawler adaptive with the changing *** feature makes it possible to change behavior of focused crawler according to the particular environment and its relationships with the given input parameters during the *** Exploited Q learning which features whole-life learning and repayment delay accompany with Bayes *** enables crawler to accumulate experience during the crawling and adjust strategy to achieve goal of making best decision under any *** make a comparison among QBLP,Best First and Breath *** to statistics from experiments,We find that QBLP is superior on precision than others in long time crawling.
