This paper implements and evaluates experimentally a procedure for automatically georeferencing images acquired by unmanned aerial vehicles(UAV s) in the sense that ground control points(GCP) are not necessary. since the camera model is necessary for georeferencing, this paper also proposes a completely automatic procedure for collecting corner pixels in the model plane image to solve the camera calibration problem, i.e., to estimate the camera and the lens distortion parameters. The performance of the complete georeferencing system is evaluated with real flight data obtained by a typical UAV.

Crystal lattice deformations can be described microscopically by explicitly accounting for the position of atoms or macroscopically by continuum *** this work,we report on the description of continuous elastic fields derived from an atomistic representation of crystalline structures that also include features typical of the microscopic *** expressions for strain components are obtained from the complex amplitudes of the Fourier modes representing periodic lattice positions,which can be generally provided by atomistic modeling or *** magnitude and phase of these amplitudes,together with the continuous description of strains,are able to characterize crystal rotations,lattice deformations,and ***,combined with the so-called amplitude expansion of the phase-field crystal model,they provide a suitable tool for bridging microscopic to macroscopic *** study enables the in-depth analysis of elasticity effects for macroscale and mesoscale systems taking microscopic details into account.

semantic segmentation is an important sub-task for many ***,pixel-level ground-truth labeling is costly,and there is a tendency to overfit to training data,thereby limiting the generalization *** domain adaptation can potentially address these problems by allowing systems trained on labelled datasets from the source domain(including less expensive synthetic domain)to be adapted to a novel target *** conventional approach involves automatic extraction and alignment of the representations of source and target domains *** limitation of this approach is that it tends to neglect the differences between classes:representations of certain classes can be more easily extracted and aligned between the source and target domains than others,limiting the adaptation over all ***,we address:this problem by introducing a Class-Conditional Domain Adaptation(CCDA)*** incorporates a class-conditional multi-scale discriminator and class-conditional losses for both segmentation and ***,they measure the segmentation,shift the domain in a classconditional manner,and equalize the loss over *** results demonstrate that the performance of our CCDA method matches,and in some cases,surpasses that of state-of-the-art methods.

High Oxygen Nanocomposite Barrier Films Based on Xylan and Nanocrystalline Cellulose

The goal of this work is to produce nanocomposite film with low oxygen permeability by casting an aqueous solution containing xylan,sorbitol and nanocrystalline *** morphology of the resulting nanocomposite films was examined by scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy which showed that control films containing xylan and sorbitol had a more open structure as compared to xylan-sorbitol films containing sulfonated nanocrystalline *** average pore diameter,bulk density,porosity and tortuosity factor measurements of control xylan films and nanocomposite xylan films were examined by mercury intrusion porosimetry *** films reinforced with nanocrystalline cellulose were denser and exhibited higher tortuosity factor than the control xylan *** xylan films had average pore diameter,bulk density,porosity and tortuosity factor of 0.1730 μm,0.6165 g/ml,53.0161% and 1.258,respectively as compared to xylan films reinforced with 50% nanocrystalline cellulose with average pore diameter of 0.0581 μm,bulk density of 1.1513 g/ml,porosity of 22.8906% and tortuosity factor of *** transmission rate tests demonstrated that films prepared with xylan,sorbitol and 5%,10%,25% and 50% sulfonated nanocrystalline cellulose exhibited a significantly reduced oxygen permeability of 1.1387,1.0933,0.8986 and 0.1799 cm^3×μm/m^2×d×k Pa respectively with respect to films prepared solely from xylan and sorbitol with a oxygen permeability of 189.1665 cm^3×μm/m^2×d×k *** properties suggested these nanocomposite films have promising barrier properties.

since its launch in 2011, the Materials Genome Initiative（MGI） has drawn the attention of researchers from academia,government, and industry worldwide. As one of the three tools of the MGI, the use of materials data, for the first time, has emerged as an extremely significant approach in materials discovery. Data science has been applied in different disciplines as an interdisciplinary field to extract knowledge from data. The concept of materials data science has been utilized to demonstrate its application in materials science. To explore its potential as an active research branch in the big data era, a three-tier system has been put forward to define the infrastructure for the classification, curation and knowledge extraction of materials data.

Progression of cells from G2 phase of the cell cycle to mitosis is a tightly regulated cellular process that requires activation of the Cdc2 kinase, which determines onset of mitosis in all eukaryotic cells. In both human and fission yeast (schizosaccharomyces pombe) cells, the activity of Cdc2 is regulated in part by the phosphorylation status of tyrosine 15 (Tyr15) on Cdc2, which is phosphorylated by Wee1 kinase during late G2 and is rapidly dephosphorylated by the Cdc25 tyrosine phosphatase to trigger entry into mitosis. These Cdc2 regulators are the downstream targets of two well- characterized G2/M checkpoint pathways which prevent cells from entering mitosis when cellular DNA is damaged or when DNA replication is inhibited. Increasing evidence suggests that Cdc2 is also commonly targeted by viral proteins, which modulate host cell cycle machinery to benefit viral survival or replication. In this review, we describe the effect of viral protein R (Vpr) encoded by human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) on cell cycle G2/M regulation. Based on our current knowledge about this viral effect, we hypothesize that Vpr induces cell cycle G2 arrest through a mechanism that is to some extent different from the classic G2/M checkpoints. One the unique features distinguishing Vpr-induced G2 arrest from the classic checkpoints is the role of phosphatase 2A (PP2A) in Vpr-induced G2 arrest. Interestingly, PP2A is targeted by a number of other viral proteins including sV40 small T antigen, polyomavirus T antigen, HTLV Tax and adenovirus E4orf4. Thus an in-depth understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying Vpr-induced G2 arrest will provide additional insights into the basic biology of cell cycle G2/M regulation and into the biological significance of this effect during host-pathogen interactions.
