We report on the structural,magnetic,and magnetocaloric properties of *** oxidation states of Eu and Rh ions were studied using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy（XPS）.It is found that the Eu ions are mainly in the divalent oxidation state while the Rh ions have+4 ***3powders are found to be antiferromagnetic with a second order magnetic transition at Neel temperature（TN=2.9 K）.Analysis of the magnetic susceptibility versus temperature data in terms of the curie=Weiss law:(χ=c/（T-θW）) for T>TN,yields θW=-3.1 K and effective magne tic moment ■,which is close to the theoretical value ■.The magnetic entropy change(-ΔSm),was determined by em ploying the thermodynam ic maxwell's *** μ0H=5 T and near TN,■ and relative cooling power（RcP） exhibit large values of 33.7 J/（kg·K） and 238 J/kg,*** large magnitude of-ΔSmand RcP show that the EuRhO3compound could be a potential candidate to be used in cryogenic magnetic refrigeration.

Adapted European seabass(Dicentrarchus labrax L.)larvae at 25 days post-hatching(dph)with a primary weight and length of 23 mg and 9.92 mm,start the weaning up to 46 dph using the weaning micro-diet(54%crude protein from fish meal,powder milk,and poultry egg)concurrently with Artemia enriched with fortification emulsions(0.6 g/L)of DHA selco®as a control group(DHAS)or Fish oil+20%Vitamin c(FOVc),or Fish oil+20%Vitamin E(FOVE),or Fish oil+10%Vit.c+10%Vit.E(FOcE),or Fish oil only(FO).At 46 dph,groups of larvae fed enriched Artemia with DHAS and FOVE exhibited the highest final body weight,weight gain,average daily gain,specific growth rate,feed intake,protein efficiency ratio,and survival%as well as the lowest feed conversion ***,larvae in FOVc displayed the lowest final body weight,total length,weight gain,average daily gain,specific growth rate,feed intake,protein efficiency ratio,and survival%as well as the highest feed conversion *** histological assessment exhibited no pathological alteration as well as an improvement in the structure with DHAS,FOVE,FOVc,and FOcE co-additives compared to *** peroxidase enzyme(GPx)recorded the highest rates(Pmia supplemented with DHAS and FOVE followed by FOcE and *** the lowest record for GPx activity was noted in the FO *** conclusion,Using augmented Artemia nauplii with fish oil+vitamin E in single or in companion with vitamin c as cheap antioxidants support *** larval growth,survival,and antioxidant efficacy during the critical weaning period.

BAcKGROUND The totally preperitoneal(TPP)approach is a new concept that was recently *** the TPP approach combined with single-incision laparoscopic hernia repair has its own advantages,there is little evidence reflecting the characteristics and feasibility of either *** To analyze the potential applications of single-incision laparoscopic TPP(silTPP)inguinal hernia hernioplasty for the treatment of inguinal *** A total of 152 sil-TPP surgeries were performed at the First Affiliated Hospital of Ningbo University from February 2019 to November 2022.A single-port,named Iconport,and standard laparoscopic instruments were used during the *** data,intraoperative parameters and short-term postoperative outcomes were collected and retrospectively *** The demographic data of 152 patients underwent sil-TPP were shown in Table *** average age was 49.5 years(range from 21 to 81 years).The average body mass index was 27.7 kg/m^(2)(range from 17.7 kg/m^(2) to 35.6 kg/m^(2)).sil-TPP were conducted successfully in 147 *** patients were converted to the siltransabdominal preperitoneal laparoscopic herniorrhaphy at the initial stage of the study due to a lack of *** 2 patients with incisional hernias,an auxiliary operation hole was added during the sil-TPP procedure,as required for *** mean operative time was 64.5 minutes(range:36.0-110.0 minutes)for unilateral direct and femoral hernias and 81.6 minutes for indirect hernias(range:40.0-150.0 minutes).The mean postoperative hospital stay was 3.4 *** sil-TPP is feasible and has advantages for inguinal hernia ***-TPP has potential benefits for patients with various abdominal wall ***,doctors should be encouraged to actively apply the TPP approach combined with a single incision in their daily work.

A 56-day feeding period was performed to investigate the possible impacts of dietary nano curcumin(0,50,100,150,and 200 ppm)on the growth,nutrient utilization,non-specific immune parameters,antioxidants in Nile tilapia under chronic low temperature(21.02±0.11◦c).Fishes(n=225;Initial weight=4.39±0.08 g/fish)were randomly stocked at 15 fish/tank for five experimental groups in *** low-temperature circumstances,dietary curcumin in nano form showed no notable alteration in growth variable,nutrient efficiency,digestive enzymes efficiency,biometric indices,survival rates,and hematological ***,the serum of fishes with nano curcumin diets under low-temperature stress displayed higher total protein as well as lower glucose,cortisol,and total cholesterol compared with the control ***,fish fed nano curcumin diets displayed higher lysozyme and bactericidal activities compared to the control group and the best performance was found at dietary nano curcumin level of≥100 ***,groups fed the basal diet demonstrated the poorest antioxidant capacity,and the best superoxide dismutase(SOD)and glutathione peroxidase(GPx)existed in fish with nano curcumin diets while the best catalase(cAT)efficiency occurred at higher nano curcumin levels≥100 *** addition,higher counts of intestinal microbiota in terms of total bacterial count(TBc),total yeast and molds count(TYmc),and coliform were noticed in fish consumed the basal diet compared to groups fed on nano curcumin *** conclusion,incorporating nano curcumin at a level of≥100 mg/kg diet(particularly at 150 mg/kg)improved a non-specific immune response,antioxidant,and healthier gastrointestinal microbiota in Nile tilapia under chronic low-temperature stress.

AIm:To investigate the effects of exogenous testosterone treatment on the choroidal parameters in patients with androgen ***:Right eyes of 24 patients with androgen deficiency and 31 healthy volunteers were included in the *** eyes were scanned for subfoveal choroidal thickness(SFcT),choroidal vascularity index(cVI),choroidstromal area(c-SA),choroid-luminal area(c-LA),choroidstromal to luminal area ratio(cSLR),and the choroidal parameters within central 1500μm of the macula(cVI1500,c-LA1500,c-SA1500,and cSLR1500)by enhanced-depth imaging optical coherence tomography(EDI-OcT)at baseline,6th and 18th weeks of the exogenous testosterone ***:The mean SFcT values of the androgen deficient groups and healthy controls were 307.7±27.0 and 303.2±37.2μm(P=0.8).However,cVI,c-SA,cSLR,cVI1500,c-LA1500,and cSLR1500 were significantly different between the groups(all Penous testosterone treatment,SFcT,cVI,c-LA,and c-SA were significantly decreased,and these parameters returned to baseline levels at the 18th-week visit(all P>0.05).However,cVI1500 and LA1500 significantly increased at the end of the follow-up period(PcONcLUSION:cVI is lower in androgen-deficient patients than in healthy *** alterations in the choroid during the testosterone peak are transient in the treatment of patients with androgen ***,the increase in cVI within the central 1500μm of the macula persists even after 4mo.

Nd-Fe-B permanent magnets play a crucial role in energy conversion and electronic *** essential magnetic properties of Nd-Fe-B magnets,particularly coercivity and remanent magnetization,are significantly infuenced by the phase characteristics and *** this work,Nd-Fe-B magnets were manufactured using vacuum induction melting(VIm),laser directed energy deposition(LDED)and laser powder bed fusion(LPBF)*** evolution and phase selection of Nd-Fe-B magnets were then clarified in *** results indicated that the solidification velocity(V)and cooling rate(R)are key factors in the phase *** terms of the VIm-casting Nd-Fe-B magnet,a large volume fraction of theα-Fe soft magnetic phase(39.7 vol.%)and Nd2Fe17Bxmetastable phase(34.7 vol.%)areformed due to the low R(2.3×10-1?c s-1),whereas only a minor fraction of the Nd2Fe14B hard magnetic phase(5.15 vol.%)is *** the LDED-processed Nd-Fe-B deposit,although the Nd2Fe14B hard magnetic phase also had a low value(3.4 vol.%)as the values of V(m s-1)and R(5.06×103?c s-1)increased,part of theα-Fe soft magnetic phase(31.7vol.%)is suppressed,and a higher volume of Nd2Fe17Bxmetastable phases(47.5 vol.%)*** a result,both the VIm-casting and LDED-processed Nd-Fe-B deposits exhibited poor magnetic *** contrast,employing the high values of V(>10-2m s-1)and R(1.45×106?c s-1)in the LPBF process resulted in the substantial formation of the Nd2Fe14B hard magnetic phase(55.8 vol.%)directly from the liquid,while theα-Fe soft magnetic phase and Nd2Fe17Bxmetastable phase precipitation are suppressed in the LPBF-processed Nd-Fe-B ***,crystallographic texture analysis reveals that the LPBF-processedNd-Fe-B magnets exhibit isotropic magnetic ***,the LPBF-processed Nd-Fe-B deposit,exhibiting a coercivity of 656 k A m-1,remanence of 0.79 T and maximum energy product of 71.5 k J m-3,achieved an acceptable magnetic perfor

Introduction:Toxic epidermal necrolysis(Ten)is a medical emergency that most commonly occurs as an adverse effect of certain ***,we describe a case of a 41-year-old man with no comorbid illness who developed *** presentation:The patient had been prescribed ibuprofen for myalgia and developed skin lesions after the single *** lesions were erythematous papules and macules distributed all over the body after ibuprofen *** was diagnosed based on the patient’s clinical presentation and laboratory *** was treated with intravenous dexamethasone,intravenous immunoglobulin,and *** dressing changes and skin care was done with saline,chlorhexidine,and liquid *** patient was intubated and tracheostomized,and he gradually improved and ***,he developed septicemia in the intensive care unit and was treated ***:The management of Ten includes cessation of the causative cause,multidisciplinary intensive care unit(IcU)care,prevention and early detection of sepsis,fluid and electrolyte balance,adequate analgesia and temperature control,proper organ support,aggressive nutritional management,and good psychological *** pharmacological therapy for Ten includes corticosteroids,intravenous immunoglobulin,and *** key elements of management are aseptic care and proper dressing of the ***:Ten is associated with high mortality if not managed in a systemic and protocolized way.
