Developing a bi.m.terial for wound healing applications is still a ***,dysprosi.m.oxide(Dy_(2)O_(3)),aluminum oxide(Al_(2)O_(3)),and graphene oxide(GO)were embedded in cast fi.m. based on polycaprolactone(PCL)to be examined for wound dressing *** techniques were used to characterize the fabricated fi.m. including X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTiR),Raman,and scanning electron microscopy(SEm),besides their biological *** thermogravimetric analysis(TGA)exhibits high thermal stability as the scaffold weight decreases slightly to 98.6%after raising the temperature from room temperature to 280℃.The cell viability was investigated and it is shown that the viable cells grow up to approximately 93%at 75μg/***,the cell attachment shows excellent behavior as the cells attach on most of the surface of the modified PCL which shows high biocompatibility.

Using Lean manufacturing(Lm)tools in production processes is crucial for companies’economic,environmental,and social sustainability *** study shows a structural equation model(SEm)that shows the relationship between Lm Tools like Kaizen(KAi),Gemba(GEm),Value Stream mapping(VSm)and Key Performance indicator(KPi)with Economic Sustainability(ECS).Seven hypotheses were evaluated with data from 179 responses to a questionnaire about the mexican maquiladora industry,showing that these variables are *** a 95%confidence level,the model was evaluated using the partial least squares *** findings indicate that the relationships between KAi and GEm and KAi and VSm have the strongest relationship,followed by VSm and ECS;however,VSm has the strongest effect on *** on these findings,it is recommended that managers adopt a continuous improvement(KAi)approach based on working directly on the shop floor(GEm and VSm)to support their decisions regarding economic growth(ECS).

Nanocomposite fi.m. consisting of carboxymethyl cellulose,polyethylene oxide(CmC/PEO),and anatase titani.m.diox-ide(TO)were produced by the use of sol-gel and solution casting ***2 nanocrystals were effectively incorporated into CmC/PEO polymers,as shown by X-ray diffraction(XRD)and attenuated total reflectance fourier transform infrared(ATR-FTiR)*** roughness growth is at high levels of TO nanocrystals(TO NCs),which means increasing active sites and defects in CmC/*** differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)thermograms,the change in glass transition temperature(Tg)val-ues verifies that the polymer blend interacts with TO *** increment proportions of TO NCs have a notable impact on the dielectric performances of the nanocomposites,as *** electrical properties of the CmC/PEO/TO nanocomposite undergo significant *** nanocomposite fi.m. exhibit a red alteration in the absorption edge as the concentration of TO NCs increases in the polymer *** decline in the energy gap is readily apparent as the weight percentage of TO NCs *** photoluminescence(PL)emission spectra indicate that the sites of the luminescence peak maximums show slight variation;peaks get wider,while their intensities decrease dramatically as the concentration of TO *** nanocomposite materials show potential for multifunctional applications including optoelectronics,antireflection coatings,pho-tocatalysis,light emitting diodes,and solid polymer electrolytes.

Nowcasting and forecasting solar irradiance are vital for the optimal prediction of grid-connected solar photovoltaic(PV)power *** plants face operational challenges and scheduling dispatch difficulties due to the fluctuating nature of their power *** the generation capacity within the electric grid increases,accurately predicting this output becomes increasingly essential,especially given the random and non-linear characteristics of solar irradiance under variable weather *** study presents a novel prediction method for solar irradiance,which is directly in correlation with PV power output,targeting both short-term and medi.m.term forecast *** proposed hybrid framework employs a fast trainable statistical learning technique based on the truncated-regularized kernel ridge regression *** proposed method excels in forecasting solar irradiance,especially during highly intermittent weather periods.A key strength of our model is the incorporation of multiple historical weather parameters as inputs to generate accurate predictions of future solar irradiance values in its scalable *** evaluated the performance of our model using data sets from both cloudy and sunny days in Seattle and medford,USA and compared it against three forecasting models:persistence,modified 24-hour persistence and least *** on three widely accepted statistical performance metrics(root mean squared error,mean absolute error and coefficient of determination),our hybrid model demonstrated superior predictive accuracy in varying weather conditions and forecast horizons.

A 56-day feeding period was performed to investigate the possible impacts of dietary nano curcumin(0,50,100,150,and 200 ppm)on the growth,nutrient utilization,non-specific i.m.ne parameters,antioxidants in Nile tilapia under chronic low temperature(21.02±0.11◦C).Fishes(n=225;initial weight=4.39±0.08 g/fish)were randomly stocked at 15 fish/tank for five experimental groups in *** low-temperature circumstances,dietary curcumin in nano form showed no notable alteration in growth variable,nutrient efficiency,digestive enzymes efficiency,bi.m.tric indices,survival rates,and hematological ***,the serum of fishes with nano curcumin diets under low-temperature stress displayed higher total protein as well as lower glucose,cortisol,and total cholesterol compared with the control ***,fish fed nano curcumin diets displayed higher lysozyme and bactericidal activities compared to the control group and the best performance was found at dietary nano curcumin level of≥100 ***,groups fed the basal diet demonstrated the poorest antioxidant capacity,and the best superoxide di.m.tase(SOD)and glutathione peroxidase(GPx)existed in fish with nano curcumin diets while the best catalase(CAT)efficiency occurred at higher nano curcumin levels≥100 *** addition,higher counts of intestinal microbiota in terms of total bacterial count(TBC),total yeast and molds count(TYmC),and coliform were noticed in fish consumed the basal diet compared to groups fed on nano curcumin *** conclusion,incorporating nano curcumin at a level of≥100 mg/kg diet(particularly at 150 mg/kg)improved a non-specific i.m.ne response,antioxidant,and healthier gastrointestinal microbiota in Nile tilapia under chronic low-temperature stress.

Spinel cubic ferrites have huge applications in me mory and high frequency *** the improvement of these modern devices,the magnetic coercivity,permeability,and dielectric properties of a ferrite are the important *** article focuses on improving the magnetic coercivity,magnetic permeability,and dielectric properties of Co_(0.2)Zn_(0.3)Ni_(0.5)Eu_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_(4) ferrites,where x=0.00,0.06,and *** X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTiR),field emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEm),energy dispersive X-ray(EDX),vibrating sample magnetometer(VSm),and an impedance analyzer were used to characterize the structural,magnetic,and dielectric properties of the *** XRD patterns indicate the formation of spinel cubic structure of the samples with a secondary peak(EuFeO_(3))for Eu doped *** densities and porosities of the samples follow an inverse trend,where the doped samples’lattice parameters are increased with the increment of rare earth Eu *** FTiR analysis also proves the spinel cubic phase of the *** average grain size of the ferrites is obtained via FESEm images,and it is increased from 121 to 198 *** analysis confi.m. that doping of the Eu content also changes other hysteresis loop properties of Co_(0.2)Zn_(0.3)Ni_(0.5)Eu_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_(4) ***,the coercivity of the Eu doped samples is greater than that of the mother alloy(x=0.00).The EDX study shows that there is no impurity contamination in the *** permeability and dielectric measurements show an improved quality factor of the Eu-doped samples with low magnetic and dielectric *** dependent resistivity and impedance analysis also show the improved *** the observed properties of the samples,all the investigated ferrites might be strong candidates for potential applications in memory devices,magnetic sensors,and high frequency applications.

The post-resuscitation period is recognized as the main predictor of cardiopul-monary resuscitation(CPR)*** first description of post-resuscitation syndrome and stony heart was published over 50 years *** manifestations may include but are not limited to,persistent precipitating pathology,systemic ischemia/reperfusion response,post-cardiac arrest brain injury,and finally,post-cardiac arrest myocardial dysfunction(PAmD)after successful *** do some patients initially survive successful resuscitation,and others do not?Also,why does the myocardi.m.response vary after resuscitation?These ques-tions have kept scientists busy for several decades since the first successful resuscitation was *** modifying the conventional modalities of resu-scitation together with new promising agents,rescuers will be able to salvage the jeopardized post-resuscitation myocardi.m.and prevent its progression to a di.m.l,stony *** awareness and staff education are crucial for shortening the resuscitation time and improving short-and long-term *** of these components before and early after the restoration of circulation will enhance the resuscitation *** review extensively addresses the underlying pathophysiology,management,and outcomes of post-resuscitation *** pattern,management,and outcome of PAmD and post-cardiac arrest shock are different based on many factors,including in-hospital cardiac arrest vs out-of-hospital cardiac arrest(OHCA),witnessed vs unwitnessed cardiac arrest,the underlying cause of arrest,the duration,and protocol used for *** restoring spontaneous circulation is a vital sign,it should not be the end of the game or lone primary outcome;it calls for better understanding and aggressive multi-disciplinary interventions and *** development of stony heart post-CPR and OHCA remain the main challenges in emergency and critical care medicine.
