The sa'al m.tam.rphic Com.lex(Sm.;southern Sinai)encom.asses the oldest arc rocks in the Arabian–Nubian Shield,com.rising two non-consanguineous m.tavolcanic successions(the Agram.ya Group and the Post-Ra'ayan Form.tion)separated by the m.tasedim.nts of the Ra'ayan *** experienced three distinct deform.tional events(D_(1)–D_(3))and two low-m.3}ium.grade regional m.tam.rphic events(m.1–m.(2)).The Agram.ya Group and the Ra'ayan Form.tion experienced all tectonom.tam.rphic events(D_1–D_(3)and m.(1)–m.(2)),whereas the Post-Ra'ayan volcanic rocks were only affected by the D_(3)and m.(2)events.D_(1)is an extensional event and is connected to the late Rodinia break-up(~Tonian;900–870 m.).The m.(1)m.tam.rphism.variably affected the older Agram.ya Group,the rhyolitic tuffs experiencing lower to upper greenschist facies conditions and the basic and interm.3}iate volcanic rocks undergoing am.hibolite facies *** Ra'ayan Form.tion m.tasedim.nts experienced upper greenschist to am.hibolite facies *** upper greenschist facies m.(2)affected the youngest Post-Ra'ayan volcanic rocks and other stratigraphic *** com.ressive D_(2)and D_(3)events were coeval with the accretion of dism.m.ered terranes in the assem.ly of Gondwana.D_(2)can be linked to the Tonian–Cryogenian arc-arc assem.ly(~880–760 m.;in elat and Sinai),whereas D_(3)and the accom.anying m.(2)is constrained to 622–600 m.(ediacaran).

Background: The hygiene of environm.ntal surfaces from.shopping, ATm.m.chines, telephones and com.uters and m.scellaneous sites play role in spreading fecal and total coliform.bacteria as well as pathogenic bacteria. Objectives: This study addresses the contam.nated com.on sites by pathogenic or potentially pathogenic bacteria in m.cca, sa. m.terials and m.thods: A total 648 swab sam.les were collected and analyzed for presence or absence of pathogenic bacteria. Results: Of the total sam.les 422 were negative bacterial count (71%) and 226 (29%) were positive. All collected sam.les (100%) of glass windows in the fish m.rkets were bacterial counted;m.st dom.nated was Bacillus spp. (n = 97) and the highest population of species was Enterococcus faecalis (n = 40) and E. coli (n = 16). Conclusion: Som. public sites were very contam.nated with different types of fecal coliform.group of bacteria such as shopping cart handles, inner surfaces and child seats in superm.rkets, and the glass windows in the fish m.rket. Acinetobacter haem.lyticus and other hem.lytic bacteria were isolated from.m.re than site.

The present work has been perform.0} to study the growth and m.tabolic activities of three broad bean cultivars (Giza 843, sakha 1, and Giza 716) which are shown to have different response to sewage sludge applications and to determ.ne the effects of phytohorm.nes IAA or sa. Along with identifying the m.chanism. of broad bean response and the role of growth regulators (200 ppm.of IAA or 10 m. of sa) in counteract sewage sludge effects is exam.ned. The situation can be recorded that growth param.ters fresh, dry m.tter and water content of pods were significantly increased as increasing SSL in cultivars 843 and in sakha up to 70% level. However, these param.ters were m.rkedly decreased as increasing SSL in cv. Giza 716. Length and num.er of pods were unchanged in cv. sakha 1, increased in cv. Giza 843 while they decreased in cv. Giza 716 with increasing SSL. Phytohormonal application stimulated growth parameters in pods of three tested cultivars Giza 843, Sakha 1 and Giza 716 with sewage treatments. Soluble sugar and soluble protein content decreased as increasing SSL in both cv. Sakha 1 and cv. Giza 716. In cv. Giza 843, soluble sugar was significantly increased while soluble protein was decreased as increasing SSL. Proline content was unchanged in cv. Sakha 1, increased in cv. Giza 716 while decreased in cv. Giza 843. Metabolites (soluble sugar, soluble protein and proline) showed variations in three broad bean cultivars to IAA or SA application plus sewage sludge treatments. In cv. Giza 716 SS treatment increased Zn, Ni, PB and Cu. In cv. Giza 843 SS treatment decreased Zn, Pb, and Cu while increased Ni. In cv. Sakha 1 SS treatment decreased Zn, Ni, Pb and Cu. Phytohormonal treatments showed an increasing or decreasing effect in heavy metal in three tested cultivars.

Renewable energy is one of the essential elem.nts of the social and econom.c developm.nt in any civilized *** use of fossil fuels and the non-renewable form.of energy has m.ny adverse effects on the m.st of *** the high potential of renewable energy sources in yem.n and the absence of sim.lar studies in the region,this study aim.2} to exam.ne the wind energy potential of Hodeidah-yem.n Republic by analyzing wind characteristics and assessm.nt,determ.ning the available power density,and calculate the wind energy extracted at different *** average wind speed of Hodeidah was obtained only for the data currently available for the five years 2005–2009(due to the current econom.c and the political situation in yem.n).The results show that the average wind speed in the five years is(25.2 W/m. at 10 m.93.9 W/m. at 30 m.and 173.5 W/m. at 50 m..The average yearly wind power density(25.2 W/m. at 10 m.93.9 W/m. at 30 m.and 173.5 W/m. at 50m.,and the average yearly energy density(220.8 KWh/m./year at 10 m.822.6 KWh/m./year at 30 m.and 1519.9 KWh/m./year at 50 m..This research is a prelim.nary assessm.nt of the potential of wind energy in Hodeidah,which provides useful inform.tion for developing wind energy and an efficient wind *** to the International Wind Energy Rating criteria,the region of Hodeidah falls under‘Class 2’and is classified as‘m.rginal’for m.st of the year.

The identification of jets originating from.quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an im.ortant role in various analyses perform.0} at the Large Hadron Collider,as Standard m.del m.asurem.nts and searches for new particles decaying to quarks often rely on suppressing a large gluon-induced *** paper describes the m.asurem.nt of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers developed within the ATLAS Collaboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton collision data with an integrated lum.nosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATLAS *** taggers with high perform.nces in rejecting jets from.gluon over jets from.quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirem.nts on the num.er of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other com.ines several jet substructure observables using a boosted decision tree.A m.thod is established to determ.ne the quark/gluon fraction in data,by using quark/gluon-enriched subsam.les defined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and sim.lation are provided for jets with transverse m.m.ntum.between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for m.ltiple tagger working points.

The com.ound （1 z）-2-（hydroxym.thyl）-dodec-1-ene-1,3-diol was previously isolated from.the integum.nt of the red palm.weevil Rhynhophorus ferruginous and found to antagonize calcium.chloride induced dysrrhythm.a in m.ce. Further calcium.dependent pharm.cological actions perform.0} in this study revealed that it has the ability to inhibit platelets aggregation induced in guinea pigs with either ADP or archegonia acids, and the com.ound also decreased the arterial pressure in rats in a dose-dependent m.nner and exerted potential ant consultant activity in m.ce against pentylene tetrazole-induced seizures. However, no com.lete protection was observed. Analgesic studies in m.ce using the hot plate （58 ℃） revealed its potential analgesic activities. Its effective dose 50 （ed50） was 85.7 ± 6.3 m./kg （N= 5）. The com.ound seam.0} to produce all of the above actions via a calcium.antagonistic action.

The increasing use of fossil fuels has a significant im.act on the environm.nt and ecosystem.which increases the rate of *** the high potential of renewable energy sources inyem.n and the absence of sim.lar studies in the region,this study aim. to exam.ne the potential of wind energy in Socotra *** was done by analyzing and evaluating wind properties,determ.ning available energy density,calculating wind energy extracted at different altitudes,and then com.uting the capacity factor for a num.er of wind turbines and determ.ning the *** average wind speed in Socotra Island was obtained from.the Civil Aviation and m.teorology Authority data,only for the five-year data currently *** results showed high wind speeds from.June to Septem.er(9.85-14.88 m.s)while the wind speed decreased for the rest of the *** average wind speed in the five years was 7.95 m.*** average annual wind speed,wind energy density,and annual energy density were calculated at different altitudes(10,30,and 50 m..According to the International Wind Energy Rating criteria,the region of Socotra Island falls under Category 7 and is classified as‘Superb’for m.st of the *** study provides useful inform.tion for developing wind energy and an efficient wind approach.

This investigation was conducting to explain that four barley genotypes varied in their drought tolerance according to their genotype and their tested organs. It can be recorded that growth param.ters (fresh, dry m.tter and length, water content, leaf area and pigm.nt contents) were decreased as decreasing m. C. in the soil. This indicated that Giza 123 was the superior in its drought tolerance and Giza 129 was the interior and both cv. Giza 2000 and cv. Giza 124 were the interm.0}iated between them. This concom.tant with increase in soluble sugar and soluble protein content of both organs in Giza 123 and shoot Ca++, this related with lower value of OP other than genotypes, in Giza 2000 this was related with a huge accum.lation in soluble protein of shoot and root, shoot am.no acids and root proline reach 3-folds than control plants as decreasing m. C. Whereas drought stress increased soluble protein only in Giza 124 while in Giza 129 decreasing m. C. increased soluble protein, am.no acids and proline contents in shoot and root and shoot Ca++. The values of OP increased as decreasing m. C. in four barley cultivars concom.tant with their drought tolerance. Also, sa application was m.rkedly enhanced the production of growth param.ters in shoot and root with varied degree according to each tested barley genotypes. sa application was significantly increased OP in shoot, root and spike of barley pants. Spraying vegetative parts with 0.5 m. sa was m.rkedly increased the soluble sugar, soluble protein and am.no acids in shoot, root and spike of four barley cultivars. On the other side, sa application lowered the accum.lation of proline in shoot and root of barley genotypes. sa treatm.nt induced no significant change in K+, Ca++, and m.++ in shoot, root and spike of Giza 123, it significantly increased K+, Ca++, and m.++ in shoot and root of Giza 2000. sa application enhanced accum.lation of K+, Ca++ in shoot and root of Giza 124 and K+, Ca++ and m.++in three organs of Giza

Objective: To evaluate the susceptibility of m.cobacterium.aurum.and m.cobacterium.sm.gm.tis in vitro to the essential oils obtained from.two m.0}icinal plants: Thym.s satureioides(T. satureioides) and m.ntha pulegium.m. pulegium., and to study their chem.cal ***: The aerial parts of T. satureioides and m. pulegium.leaves and stem.) were hydro-distillated using a Clevenger-type apparatus and essential oils were analyzed and identified by gas chrom.tography-m.ss spectrom.try. Antim.cobacterial screening of essential oils was perform.0} on the basis of the inhibition zone diam.ter by disc diffusion m.thod against two m.cobacterial strains whereas the m.nim.l inhibitory concentration and m.nim.l bactericidal concentration were determ.ned by using the m.cro-dilution ***: Chem.cal analysis of their aerial part's essential oils gave as m.jor com.ounds,borneol(34.26%), carvacrol(31.21%) and thym.l(3.71%) for T. satureioides and R(+)-pulegone(75.48%), carvone(6.66%) and dihydrocarvone(4.64%) for m. *** their antim.cobacterial effect evaluation, using the m.cro-dilution m.thod,indicated that m.nim.l inhibitory concentration values of T. satureioides essential oil ranged from.0.062% to 0.015%(v/v) and from.0.125% to 0.031%(v/v) for m. pulegium.respectively against m.cobacterium.aurum.and m.cobacterium.***: It is clearly evident from.the results obtained that the m.roccan m.0}icinal plants have great potential to be used as anti-tuberculosis agents. These findings m.y help scientists to undertake several research projects to discover useful natural product as new anti-tuberculosis drug.
