Background and Aim of the.Work: Frailty is a state.of re.uce. physiological re.e.ve.associate. with incre.se. susce.tibility to disability. It is associate. with a high morbidity and mortality. This work asse.se. the.ability of compre.e.sive.ge.iatric asse.sme.t to de.e.t frailty in e.de.ly patie.ts. Subje.ts and Me.hods: A total numbe. of 104 e.de.ly patie.ts (above.60 ye.rs old) we.e.include. in this study and the. we.e.subje.te. to a compre.e.sive.ge.iatric asse.sme.t (CGA) including: (history and full clinical e.amination, Mini me.tal status e.amination (MMSe., Ge.iatric de.re.sion scale.(GDS), Activitie. of daily living (ADL), Instrume.tal activitie. of daily living (IADL). The.patie.ts we.e.divide. into frail and non-frail groups using Frie.’s crite.ia as applie. by Avila-Fune. e. al., 2008, e.ch group include. 52 patie.ts. Re.ults: The.e.we.e.no significant diffe.e.ce. be.we.n the.two groups re.arding age.ge.de. or smoking habits. But the.e.was highe. pe.ce.tage.of ADL, IADL de.e.de.ce.in addition to highe. incide.ce.of de.re.sion and cognitive.impairme.t among frail case.. Conclusion: Compre.e.sive.ge.iatric asse.sme.t can be.use. to de.e.t frailty and its associate. impairme.t and comorbiditie..

Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)are.ubiquitous e.vironme.tal contaminants of growing conce.n due.to the.r pote.tial e.ological and human he.lth *** study pre.e.ts a compre.e.sive.asse.sme.t of PAHs contamination in the.surface.se.ime.ts of Burullus Lake.a vital and se.ond large.t de.ta lake.in *** aim was to e.aluate.the.e.o-toxicity and pote.tial he.lth risks associate. with the.pre.e.ce.of the.e.*** se.e. se.ime.t sample. we.e.colle.te. from various drains in the.southe.n part of Burullus *** e.traction me.hod was e.ploye. to e.tract PAHs(16PAHs)from the.se.ime.t ***,targe. compounds we.e.locate. using *** re.ults showe. that sample. containe. The.Ze.t sand re.e.voir is one.of the.most prolific formations at Northwe.te.n side.of the.Gulf of Sue.. In this re.e.rch we.will try to coordinate.be.we.n e.e.trical， pe.rophysical prope.tie.， de.ositional e.vironme.t and facie. discrimination in orde. to e.aluate.the.hydrocarbon pote.tiality of studie. Ze.t formation. The.statistical parame.e.s for potassium (K)， thorium (Th) and Th/U ratio conte.ts have.a ge.e.al incre.se.towards northwe.te.n parts， whe.e.s uranium (U) conte.t has a ge.e.al incre.se.towards southe.ste.n parts. The.sandstone.facie. is distinguishe. from the.othe. facie. by its thorium conte.t >4 ppm. U has high carbonate.conte.t (U ≥1 ppm). Rocks’ e.e.trical prope.tie. vary gre.tly de.e.ding on a numbe. of factors. e.e.trical me.sure.e.ts we.e.take. at fre.ue.cie. range.of (5×10-4Hz–100 kHz) for fully saturate. sample.
