Testing rocket and space technology objects in ground conditions for resistance to the impact of meteoroids and fragments of space debris can be carried out using shaped charges. To substantiate the design parameters of shaped charges that ensure the formation of aluminum particles in a wide velocity range(from 2.5 to 16 km/s), numerical modeling of the formation process was carried out within the framework of a two-dimensional axisymmetric problem of continuum mechanics using three different computing codes to increase the reliability of the results. The calculations consider shaped charges with a diameter of 20-100 mm with aluminum liners of various shapes. It is shown that the formation of particles with velocities close to the lower limit of the considered range is ensured by gently sloping segmental liners of degressive thickness. To form higher-velocity particles with velocities over 5 km/s, it is proposed to use combined liners, the jet-forming part of which has the shape of a hemisphere of constant thickness or the shape of a semi-ellipsoid or semi-superellipsoid of rotation of degressive thickness.

Objectives:Elevated circulating DNA(cirDNA)concentrations were found to be associated with trauma or tissue damage which suggests involvement of inflammation or cell death in post-operative cirDNA *** carried out the first prospective,multicenter study of the dynamics of cirDNA and neutrophil extracellular trap(NETs)markers during the perioperative period from 24 h before surgery up to 72 h after curative surgery in cancer ***:We examined the plasma levels of two NETs protein markers[myeloperoxidase(MPO)and neutrophil elastase(NE)],as well as levels of cirDNA of nuclear(cir-nDNA)and mitochondrial(cir-mtDNA)origin in 29 colon,prostate,and breast cancer patients and in 114 healthy individuals(HI).Results:The synergistic analytical information provided by these markers revealed that:(i)NETs formation contributes to post-surgery conditions;(i)post-surgery cir-nDNA levels were highly associated with NE and MPO in colon cancer[r=0.60(Pspectivelyl,but not in prostate and breast cancer;(i)each tumor type shows a specific pattern of cir-nDNA and NETs marker dynamics,but overall the pre-and post-surgery median values of cir-nDNA,NE,and MPO were significantly higher in cancer patients than in ***:Taken as a whole,our work reveals the association of NETs formation with the elevated cir-nDNA release during a cancer patient's perioperative period,depending on surgical procedure or cancer *** contrast,cir-mtDNA is poorly associated with NETs formation in the studied perioperative period,which would appear to indicate a different mechanism of release or suggest mitochondrial dysfunction.

Perfluorooctane sulfonate（PFOs） has attracted increasing concern in recent years due to its world-wide distribution, persistence, bioaccumulation and potential toxicity. The influence of sorbent properties on the adsorptive elimination of PFOs from wastewater by activated carbons, polymer adsorbents and anion exchange resins was investigated with regard to their isotherms and kinetics. The batch and column tests were combined with physicochemical characterization methods, e.g., N2 physisorption, mercury porosimetry, infrared spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry, titrations, as well as modeling. sorption kinetics was successfully modelled applying the linear driving force（LDF） approach for surface diffusion after introducing a load dependency of the mass transfer coefficient β*** big difference in the initial mass transfer coefficient βs,0, when non-functionalized adsorbents and ion-exchange resins are compared, suggests that the presence of functional groups impedes the intraparticle mass transport. The more functional groups a resin possesses and the longer the alkyl moieties are the bigger is the decrease in sorption *** the selectivity for PFOs sorption is increasing when the character of the functional groups becomes more hydrophobic. Accordingly, ion exchange and hydrophobic interaction were found to be involved in the sorption processes on resins, while PFOs is only physisorptively bound to activated carbons and polymer adsorbents. In agreement with the different adsorption mechanisms, resins possess higher total sorption capacities than adsorbents. Hence, the latter ones are rendered more effective in PFOs elimination at concentrations in the low μg/L range, due to a less pronounced convex curvature of the sorption isotherm in this concentration range.

surface-enhanced Raman scattering （sERs） has emerged as an excellent analytical tool for the effective detection and fingerprint identification of various chemicals. Recently, significant progress has been made in the fabrication of sERs-active substrates using simple, inexpensive, and affordable methods. The full potential of universal sERs diagnostics will likely be realized with the development of approaches and devices capable of effectively detecting analytes on various surfaces as well as in multicomponent media. In addition, the combination of implantable or wearable sERs-active substrates and remote portable devices enables real-time diagnostics that ideally fit the concept of personalized medicine. In this paper, we summarize recent achievements in fabricating flexible sERs substrates made of cellulose paper, polymer membranes, and textile fibrous films. Emphasis is placed on the in-situ extraction and detection of various chemicals in real-world surfaces and complex media using flexible nanofibrous sERs platforms. The potential sERs applications and future perspectives in on-site diagnostics are also discussed.

Jasmonates （JAs） orchestrate immune responses upon wound/herbivore injury or infection by necrotro- phic pathogens. Elucidation of catabolic routes has revealed new complexity in jasmonate metabolism. Two integrated pathways attenuate signaling by turning over the active hormone jasmonoyl-isoleucine （JA-Ile） through w-oxidation or deconjugation, and define an indirect route forming the derivative 12OH-JA. Here, we provide evidence for a second 12OH-JA formation pathway by direct jasmonic acid （JA） oxidation. Three jasmonic acid oxidases （JAOs） of the 2-oxoglutarate dioxygenase family catalyze spe- cific oxidation of JA to 12OH-JA, and their genes are induced by wounding or infection by the fungus Botrytis cinerea. JA02 exhibits the highest basal expression, and its deficiency in jao2 mutants strongly enhanced antifungal resistance. The resistance phenotype resulted from constitutive expression of antimi- crobial markers rather than from their higher induction in infected jao2 plants and could be reversed by ectopic expression of any of the three JAOs injao2. Elevated defense injao2 was dependent on the activity of JAsMONATE REsPONsE 1 （JAR1） and CORONATINE-INsENsITIVE 1 （COI1） but was not correlated with erihanced JA-Ile accumulation. Instead, jao2 mutant lines displayed altered accumulation of several JA species in healthy and challenged plants, suggesting elevated metabolic flux through JA-Ile. Collectively, these data identify the missing enzymes hydroxylating JA and uncover an important metabolic diversion mechanism for repressing basal JA defense responses.
