Evidence for polarization-induced phase transformations and degradation in CH_(3)NH_(3)pbI_(3)

In solar cells,hybrid halide perovskites operate under constant bias,thus their stability towards electric field-induced degradation is of key *** we report on evidence of previously unidentified electric field-induced transitions and degradation path of CH_(3)NH_(3)pbI_(3)(MApbI_(3))using elemental and phase *** films of MApbI_(3) were deposited onto 1-2μm-pitch interdigitated electrodes and subjected to direct current(DC)-*** MApbI_(3) layer polarized withpronounced ion redistribution to methylammonium-rich MApbI_(3)-y(ypbI3(xboth methylammonium and iodine provokes degradation of MApbI_(3).Using nanofocus grazing-incidence wide-angle X-ray scattering(GIWAXS),we unambiguously showed that the bias voltage induces the transformation ofβ-MApbI_(3) to metastableδ-MApbI_(3) polymorph via alignment of polar organic cation with the electric *** transformation is partially reversible upon field ***,once formed,δ-MApbI_(3) disrupts the morphology of pristine film and undergoes decomposition toβ-MApbI_(3)(β-MApI)and pbI_(2).With the aforementioned compositional and phase changes,only MA-rich part serves as the charge separation layer,while the I-rich excitation is blocked with the pbI_(2) barrier serving as holes trapping *** observations reveal the intermediate steps in electric-field-driven degradation of halide perovskites and show the role of polar cations in the process,which is instructive for further material design with higher stability metrics.

The majority of our knowledge of avian energetics is based on studies of birds from temperate and high latitudes. Using the largest existing sample of wild-caught Old World tropical species, we showed that birds from Southern Vietnam had lower basal metabolic rate （bMR） than temperate species. The strongest dissimilarity between tropical and temperate species was the low scaling exponent in the allometric relation between bMR and body mass in tropical birds （the regression slope was 0.573）. The passerine migrants to temperate and high latitudes had higher bMR than tropical sedentary passerines. body mass alone accounted for 93% of the variation in bMR （body mass ranged from 5 to 252 g）. Contrary to some other studies, we did not find evidence besides the above mentioned that phylogeny, taxonomy, behavior, or ecology have a significant influence on bMR variation among tropical birds.

paleoclimatic settings have been reconstructed for the Campanian using original oxygenisotopic analyses of well-preserved molluskan and foraminifera shells from Russian Far East, Hokkaido, USA, belgium and some DSDp holes （95, 98, 102, 390A, and 392A） in North Atlantic. Early Early Campanian climatic optimum has been recognized from data on high bottom shelf water paleotemperatures in middle latitudes of both the western circum-pacific （to 24.2℃） and the eastern circum-pacific （to 26.4℃） areas and high bottom shallow water paleotemperatures in high latitudes of the Koryak Upland （22.4-25.5℃）, which agrees with the data on the Campanian barykovskaya flora in high latitudes （Golovneva and Herman, 1998） and Jonker flora and its equivalents in middle latitudes. Judging from the data on comparatively high bottom shallow water paleotemperature values in high latitudes, South Alaska （19.4℃） and the Koryak Upland （22.4-25.5℃）, we also expect Latest Campauian temperature maximum, which has not been confirmed, however, for low and middle latitudes by neither of isotopic nor paleobotanic data now. Main dimatic tendency during the Campanian （with the exception of Latest Campanian） has been learned from isotopic composition of Campanian aragonitic ammonoid shells from the Hokkaido-South Sakhalin （Krilyon） marine basin. In contrary to Huber＇s et al. （2002） assumption, we expect warm greenhouse conditions during the most part of the Campanian.

Structural traits of woody plants and geomorphological conditions to the vegetation recovery at Ksudach caldera(Southern Kamchatka) since the explosive eruption in 1907

This study considers the restoration of the plant cover destroyed by a catastrophic volcano eruption in the south of Kamchatka peninsula(the Ksudach caldera,Shtyubel cone),with a particular attention to the role of woody *** aims to qualitatively estimate(at a qualitative level)the rate of the primary succession development depending on the microrelief and the modern relief-forming *** vegetation recovery in the caldera after the Shtyubel cone eruption 109 years ago proceeds slowly and *** proceeds most slowly on a thick tephra mantle continuously disturbed by water and wind erosion,lahars,debris flows,landslides,*** conditions are most typical of the western part of the caldera dominated by pumice fields with occasional patches of pioneer herbs and dwarf *** tundra communities with gradually expanding patches of shrub alder develop in the southern,eastern and northeastern parts of the Ksudach *** 1997 the area of the shrub alder communities has increased by 1.9 times,while the alpine tundra–by 1.3 times *** woody plants(dwarf shrubs and prostrate shrubs)are of particular importance in the process of the vegetation recovery on pumice *** suggest that the bark thickness of woody plants is an integrated indicator,which may serve for estimating the state of ecosystem in the course of the primary succession development on juvenile *** extremely inhospitable environments cause changes in physiological processes in the plant body and in its bark in *** results show that woody plants have a"thin"bark and develop some structural-functional arrangements for keeping bark tissues at their ***,the woody plant structure and the rate of changes in plant communities are under control of the geomorphic conditions and primarily–of physicochemical features of the pyroclastic cover.

Efficacy of a combination of dutasteride, tadalafil, and solifenacin in the treatment of previously unsuccessful patients

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of simultaneous administration of dutasteride,tadalafil and solifenacin in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia(bpH)with overactive bladder symptoms and lower urinary tract obstruction in previously unsuccessfully treated *** patients in Group A(n=97)received dutasteride 0.5 mg/day,tadalafil 2.5 mg/day,and solifenacin 2.5 mg/day;Group b(n=95)received dutasteride 0.5 mg/day,tadalafil 5 mg/day,and solifenacin 5 mg/day;Group C(n=103)received dutasteride 0.5 mg/day,tadalafil 20 mg/day,and solifenacin 10 mg/*** functional status of the lower urinary tract was assessed using the International prostate Symptom Score(I-pSS),Overactive bladder Questionnaire(OAbq),International Index of Erectile Function(IIEF),and Male Sexual Health Questionnaire Ejaculatory Dysfunction(MSHQ-EjD)as well as *** The total score of the sexual function remained unchanged in Group b of patients 81.3 points vs.80.2 points(p>0.05)according to MSHQ-EjD,61.4 points vs.51.2 points(p>0.05)according to IIEF *** total assessment of symptoms of hyperactivity significantly decreased in Group C according to OAbq data after the 4th week of the study(17.5 points vs.26.1 points,pbelow the baseline until the end of the study(15.2 points).Conclusions The simultaneous administration of standard doses of dutasteride,solifenacin,and tadalafil for 3 months is safe,effective,and can be recommended for patients with bpH to reduce symptoms of obstruction and hyperactivity of the bladder and maintain sexual function.

Atrial fibrillation among Russian men and women aged 55 years and older:prevalence,mortality,and associations with biomarkers in a population-based study
