Sedi.0}nt sam.les were collected from.49 sam.li.g stati.ns along the sem.-closed areas of Alexandri. coasts, Egypt. Total concentrati.ns of 15 out of 16 EPA-PAHs i. sedi.0}nts were vari.d from.4.2 to 886 ng.g–1 wi.h an average value of 176 ng.g–1 (dry wt). The average total organi. carbon (TOC) percent was vari.d from.0.04 to 7.65%. Hi.her concentrati.n of total pyrolyti. hydrocarbons (∑COm.) than total fossi. hydrocarbons (∑COm.), declared that atm.spheri. fall-out i. the si.ni.i.ant source of PAHs to m.ri.e sedi.0}nts of the sem.-closed area of Alexandri.. The selected m.rked com.ounds and speci.l PAHs com.ound rati.s (phenanthrene/anthracene;fluoranthene/pyrene;∑COm./ ∑EPA-PAHs) suggest the pyrogeni. ori.i.s, especi.lly traffi. exhausts, are the dom.nant sources of PAHs i. m.st locati.ns. i.terferences of rather petrogeni. and pyrolyti. PAH contam.nati.ns were noti.ed i. the harbours, especi.lly m.ri.e area due to petroleum.products deli.eri.s and fuel com.usti.n em.ssi.ns from.the shi.s stayi.g alongsi.e the quays.

The di.tri.uti.ns of 15 out of 16 polycycli. arom.ti. hydrocarbons (PAHs) were determ.ned i. surface and bottom.water of Alexandri. coasts (Egypti.n m.di.erranean Sea). Total average PAH concentrati.ns were ranged from.9.89 to 677.25 ng/l, and from.2.21 to 345.29 ng/l i. surface and bottom.water, respecti.ely. PAH concentrati.ns were at relati.ely low levels com.ared to those reported for other estuari.s and m.ri.e system. around the world. The ΣCOm. and ΣTF-PAHs suggest the ori.i. of hydrocarbons. The hi.her concentrati.ns of total pyrolyti. hydrocarbons (ΣCOm.) than that of total fossi. hydrocarbons (ΣTFPAH) declared that atm.spheri. fall-out from.traffi. exhausts was the si.ni.i.ant source of PAHs to m.ri.e envi.onm.nt of the sem.-closed areas of Alexandri.. i.terferences of rather petrogeni. and pyrolyti. PAH contam.nati.ns were noti.ed i. the harbours, especi.lly m.ri.e area due to petroleum.products deli.eri.s and fuel com.usti.n em.ssi.ns from.the shi.s awai.i.g along si.e the quays.

ACL reconstructi.n surgery shows low i.ci.ence of com.li.ati.ns (1.38%) li.e DVT, i.fecti.n, patellar tendon rupture and fractures whether i. the proxi.0}l ti.i. or the di.tal fem.r. We hereby present two cases that have had the rare com.li.ati.n of proxi.0}l ti.i.l fracture. The ci.cum.tances of each case are di.cussed together wi.h di.cussi.n of si.0}lar cases descri.ed i. the li.erature. We tri.d i. the end to have an i.ea about the possi.le causes and how to prevent such a devastati.g event. Case presentati.n: Case 1 shows a 38-year-old fem.le pati.nt who had an ACL reconstructi.n surgery by BTB graft followed by i.trogeni. proxi.0}l ti.i.l fracture m.naged by open reducti.n i.ternal fi.ati.n by T plate and screws. Case 2 shows a 28-year-old m.le pati.nt who had an ACL reconstructi.n surgery by BTB graft also followed by Proxi.0}l ti.i.l fracture 3 weeks later m.naged by open reducti.n i.ternal fi.ati.n usi.g a locked plate and screws. Di.cussi.n: Fractures are a rare com.li.ati.n that m.y follow ACL reconstructi.n surgery. These fractures can be fem.ral or ti.i.l that m.y be due to the reducti.n of the bone strength as a result of the dri.l holes whi.h behave as a stress ri.er. We also suggest that usage of osteotom.s duri.g grafti.g plays a role i. these fractures. m.nagem.nt of these fractures i. ei.her by open reducti.n and i.ternal fi.ati.n or closed reducti.n. What i. known about the subject: Patellar fractures are a known com.li.ati.n of ACL reconstructi.n usi.g patellar tendon graft. What thi. study adds to the exi.ti.g knowledge: Rai.i.g the Knowledge that also the ti.i. can be fractured as a com.li.ati.n of patellar tendon harvesti.g not only the patella.

i.troducti.n and Research Problem. Breast cancer i. the m.st com.on of all fem.le cancers i. Ki.gdom.of Saudi.Arabi.. Di.ferent studi.s conducted i. the Ki.gdom.have shown that knowledge of fem.les regardi.g breast cancer i. poor. Ai.0}of the study was to determ.ne knowledge, atti.ude and practi.e am.ng students of Saudi.fem.le m.di.al uni.ersi.y towards Breast Self Exam.nati.n (BSE) and also to explore thei. knowledge about breast cancer. Research m.thodology: An observati.nal cross-secti.nal study was conducted at Faculty of m.di.i.e, Tai. Uni.ersi.y duri.g October 2013. Sam.le si.e was 378 wi.h m.an age of 19.9 ± 1.5. A self adm.ni.trated questi.nnai.e was used to obtai. data about knowledge, atti.ude and practi.e towards BSE and knowledge about breast cancer. Data were collected and fed to SPSS versi.n 16. Shape of di.tri.uti.n for num.ri.al data was tested by usi.g one sam.le Kolm.gorov-Sm.rnov test. Chi.Square Test & Fi.sure Exact Test (FET) were used for testi.g relati.n between categori.al vari.bles whi.e correlati.n analysi. was used to test the strength of relati.n between num.ri. vari.bles. m.i. Results: The study revealed that only 8.2% of parti.i.ants had good overall knowledge about breast cancer and BSE. Although 66% of the study sam.le had posi.i.e atti.ude towards BSE, only 17% reported that they practi.ed BSE m.nthly. A si.ni.i.ant posi.i.e m.derate correlati.n was found between overall knowledge score and atti.ude towards BSE (r = 0.449 & p = 0.000). The sam. was for the frequency of BSE practi.e but i. was found to be i. a weak m.gni.ude (r = 0.223 & p = 0.000). Conclusi.n and Recom.endati.ns: Although there was lack of knowledge about breast cancer and BSE yet, posi.i.e atti.ude towards BSE was encouragi.g. m.st fem.le m.di.al students i. our sam.le di. not perform.BSE or perform.i. i.regularly. Therefore, m.re i.tensi.i.d awareness program. am.ng students of m.di.al uni.ersi.y are necessary to keep i. vi.w thei. current status of breast cancer a
