Purpose:Mobile-assisted language learning(MAll)apps such as Duolingo have great potential for promoting learners'motivation to learn a second language(l2).However,little research has investigated how this motivational impact takes ***,despite the flexibility of mobile learning,most existing studies are conducted in classroom settings,with less attention paid to out-of-school technology ***/Approach/Methods:To address these gaps,we present a model based on self-determination theory and propose the idea of“motivational transfer”to explain the psychological mechanism underpinning the impact of *** examine the model,we conducted a case study with 20 Year 8 Chinese junior school students who used Duolingo to learn English as a foreign language(EFl)after school for 6 ***:Questionnaire and group interview data support our hypothesized mechanism:learners'activity-specific intrinsic motivation(IM)for using Duolingo and their underlying psychological need for autonomy and competence can be transferred to a more general level,thereby enhancing learners'global ***:The proposed theoretical model expands our understanding of how digital technology stimulates learners'l2 motivation;it can help l2 educators design better technological affordances to promote learners'motivation both in and outside the classroom.

T cell metabolism is dynamic and highly *** the intrinsic metabolic programs of T cell subsets are integral to their distinct differentiation and functional patterns,the ability of cells to acquire nutrients and cope with hostile microenvironments can limit these pathways.T cells must function in a wide variety of tissue settings,and how T cells interpret these signals to maintain an appropriate metabolic program for their demands or if metabolic mechanisms of immune suppression restrain immunity is an area of growing *** in inflamed and cancer tissues,a wide range of changes in physical conditions and nutrient availability are now acknowledged to shape *** include fever and increased temperatures,depletion of critical micro and macro-nutrients,and accumulation of inhibitory waste *** we review several of these factors and how the tissue microenvironment both shapes and constrains immunity.

Targeting multiple immune mechanisms may overcome therapy resistance and further improve cancer immunotherapy for ***,we describe the application of virus-like vesicles(VlV)for delivery of three immunomodulators alone and in combination,as a promising approach for cancer *** vectors were designed to deliver single chain interleukin(Il)-12,shorthairpin RNA(shRNA)targeting programmed death ligand 1(PD-l1),and a dominant-negative form of Il-17 receptor A(dn-Il17RA)as a single payload or as a combination *** delivery of the VlV vector expressing Il-12 alone,as well as the trivalent vector(designated CARG-2020)eradicated large established ***,only CARG-2020 prevented tumor recurrence and provided long-term survival benefit to the tumor-bearing mice,indicating a benefit of the combined *** abscopal effects of CARG-2020 on the non-injected contralateral tumors,as well as protection from the tumor cell re-challenge,suggest immune-mediated mechanism of protection and establishment of immunological ***,CARG-2020 potently activates Th1 immune mechanisms and inhibits expression of genes related to T cell exhaustion and cancer-promoting *** ability of CARG-2020 to prevent tumor recurrence and to provide survival benefit makes it a promising candidate for its development for human cancer immunotherapy.

目的在新常态背景下要应对不断出现的新挑战,临床一线护士长需要提高技能,以有效履行职责、发挥多重作用,亟需完善新形势下其核心能力指南或标准。本研究旨在探讨后疫情时代背景下印度尼西亚医院一线护理管理者的核心能力要素。方法2022年1—8月,在印度尼西亚的1所公立医院选择7名有新型冠状病毒疫情期间护理管理经验的一线护士长进行面对面访谈。对访谈内容进行录音,逐字逐句转录,并通过重新聆听进行验证。采用主题分析法对访谈资料进行分析。结果医院一线护理管理者的核心能力要素包括4个方面:管理核心能力,临床核心能力,科技核心能力,以及社会情感技能/个人特质(包括勇敢、迅捷、耐心、乐观、坚持和责任心)。结论研究结果表明,一线护士长的管理和临床核心能力必须保持一致,科技核心能力是两者的中间组成部分。个人特质对于一线护士长至关重要,因为这是他们的其他3个核心能力和成功的基础。

Kanatsu-Shinohara and colleagues continue to reveal the secrets of the rare mammalian spermatogonial stem cells. Their most recent study offers a new approach by applying principles from hematopoietic stem cell research to demonstrate that cells which form a cobble- stone-like underlay beneath testicular somatic cells in culture are spermatogonial stem cells. Utilization of mouse models and cell cultures shows how the chemokine, CXCl12, fits into the signalling cascade which governs the fate of these cells and hence is essential to male fertility.

目的旨在翻译和验证印尼语版护理工作环境指数量表(the Practice Environment Scale of the Nursing Work Index,PES-NWI)在护士中应用的信效度。方法对PES-NWI进行翻译,并通过横断面研究验证其信效度。采用正向翻译、对比译文、反向翻译、对比译文,及采用二分量表进行初步测试5个步骤将英语版本问卷翻译为印尼语。30名住院部护士参与了量表可读性和可理解性检查。于2022年8—10月在印度尼西亚的17所医院选取350名护理人员参与调查。采用结构效度和收敛效度来评估量表的效度。采用Cronbach's α系数、项目总相关系数和组合信度指数来评估量表的信度。结果验证性因子分析显示,PES-NWI具有良好的拟合度,量表因子结构稳定。各维度的相关系数为0.70~0.88,条目的载荷值都高于0.6。量表维度的收敛效度为0.61~0.74。Cronbach's α系数为0.97,修正后的项目总相关系数0.62~0.85,各个维度的组合信度指数均高于0.89。结论印尼版PES-NWI具有良好的同质性和结构效度,护理管理人员可以使用它来衡量工作环境。

Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans: from translocation to targeted therapy

Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans(DFSP), the most common dermal sarcoma, is a low-grade, slow growing fibroblastic malignant neoplasm that most frequently affects middle aged adults and is characterized by a high local recurrence rate and a low propensity for metastasis. Wide surgical resection or Mohs micrographic surgery(MMS) are the preferred approaches for localized disease, while radiation therapy is warranted for inoperable disease or for cases with positive margins where re-excision is not possible. DFSP is generally regarded as refractory to conventional chemotherapy. Treatment options for systemic disease were limited until the discovery of a unique translocation, t(17;22)(q22;q13)(COl1A1;PDGFB) found in a majority of cases. In recent years, imatinib, a PDGFβR, ABl and KIT inhibitor, has revolutionized systemic therapy in DFSP. In this review, we summarize the epidemiological, clinical, histological and genetic characteristics of DFSP and update the readers on its current management.
