the terms relational and social victimization are particularly similar with respect of the types of manipulative acts involved. they differ slightly in their emphasis in researcher’s conceptualization. Manipulative acts of relational and social victimization normally disrupts relationships, group acceptance and damaging others social standing through overt and covert forms. the current retrospective study investigated the perceptions of relational and social aggression and coping skills among 200 Africans and Western （Americans, Canadians, Australians and Europeans） students in Chinese Universities. the Social Experience Questionnaire on Relational and Social Victimization （SEQRSV） was used to assess perceived relational and social victimization effects whilst the Self-Report Coping Questionnaire assesses coping strategies from perceived relational and social victimization.

the future generation networks or 4G networks constitute of varied technologies converged over the Internet protocol version 6(IPv6) core. the 4G networks offer varied services over different interfaces to the user nodes. mobility management in 4G networks is an issue that exists. the handover protocols for mobility management in 4G networks that currently exist, do not consider wireless signal degradation during handover operations. this paper introduces the Noise Resilient Reduced Registration time Care of mobile IP(NR RRtC:MIP) protocol for handover management. A handover decision algorithm based on the signal strength measured by the user nodes is considered in the NR RRtC: MIP protocol. A simulation study is discussed in the paper to evaluate the performance of the NR RRtC: MIP protocol. the results obtained from the simulation study prove that the NR RRtC: MIP protocol effectively reduces handover latencies and improves network performance.

Metformin,a biguanide derivate,has been in use as an anti-diabetic agent for over 60 years and has been widely accepted as first-line therapy for the management of type Ⅱ ***,the treatment of type Ⅱ diabetes with metformin is associated with reduced risk and improved prognosis for many types of cancers[1].this observation has led to an explosion of interest in the potential application of metformin for cancer chemopreventive and direct antitumor effects,but also more recently for potential immunomodulatory activity.

this paper offers a systematic literature review of real-time detection and classification of Power Quality Disturbances(PQDs).A particular focus is given to voltage sags and notches,as voltage sags cause huge economic losses while research on voltage notches is still very incipient.A systematic method based on scientometrics,text similarity and the analytic hierarchy process is proposed to structure the review and select the most relevant literature.A biblio-metric analysis is then performed on the bibliographic data of the literature to identify relevant statistics such as the evolution of publications over time,top publishing countries,and the distribution by relevant topics.A set of articles is subsequently selected to be critically *** critical review is structured in steps for real-time detection and classification of PQDs,namely,input data preparation,preprocessing,transformation,feature extraction,feature selec-tion,detection,classification,and *** associated with the type of disturbance(s)addressed in the literature are also explored throughout the review,including the perspectives of those studies aimed at multiple PQDs,or specifically focused on voltage sags or voltage *** real-time performance of the reviewed tools is also ***,unsolved issues are discussed,and prospects are highlighted.

D-xylose is an abundant sugar found in plant biomass and can be used as a renewable feedstock for the microbial production of diverse biofuels and ***,D-xylose metabolism is slow in many industrial microorganisms,at least as compared to glucose *** surprisingly,a number of approaches have been developed for improving D-xylose metabolism in diverse *** this work,we applied a previously developed evolution strategy based on media-in-oil emulsions for improving the growth yield of Escherichia coli NCM3722 on *** 30 rounds of evolutions,we isolated multiple mutants with increased growth yield on *** addition,we also observed similar increases in the growth *** mutants were selected for whole-genome *** mutants had an amber stop mutation in adenylate cyclase,which truncates nearly 60%of the ***,the ability of this mutant to grow on xylose indicated that truncated enzyme,lacking the C-terminal regulatory domain,is still *** other mutant had a point mutation in the cyclic AMP receptor protein(CRP),near the high affinity binding site for cyclic *** mutations,when intro-duced into wild type ***,were able to increase the growth yields at levels similar to the isolated *** addition to D-xylose,these mutant strains and their genetic mimics also exhibited higher growth rates and yields on glucose,lactose,and *** results suggest that the improved growth rates and yields are due to changes in the production and sensing of intracellular cyclic AMP concentrations and also suggest native concentrations are suboptimal with respect to the growth rate and yield under the growth conditions ***,these results may prove useful for engineering strains of *** for high-density fermentations or protein production.

Objective： to investigate the interrelationship between back exercise and acupuncture curative effect, and unveil the reason that recovery usually delays in a number of low back pain sufferers. Method： the study is designed as a retrospect investigation. Seventy patients who were newly diagnosed with low back pain were sequentially selected and divided into two groups, 44 cases in the observation group treated with acupuncture plus exercise, and 26 cases in the control group only treated with acupuncture. the recurrence rates in the one-year *** after the acupuncture service were compared between the two groups. Result and Conclusion： Back exercise is a risk factor associated with frequent back pain recurrence. In contrast, acupuncture is an effective intervention method for the treatment and prevention of non-specific low back pain.

Phenotypic plasticity and/or pollinatormediated selection may be responsible for the changes in floral traits of plants when they are forced to live in new conditions. Although the two events could be independent, we hypothesized that phenotypic plasticity in floral traits might help to coordinate plant-pollinator interactions and enhance plant reproductive success in changing habitats. to test this hypothesis, we investigated floral traits and pollination on three natural populations of a lousewort(Pedicularis siphonantha) ranging at different elevations, as well as two downward transplanted populations in Shangeri-La County and Deqin County, northwest Yunnan, China. the results indicated that floral traits, i.e. phenology, longevity,display size, corolla tube length and pollen production differed significantly among populations. moreover,or the two transplanted populations, floral traits diverged from their original populations, but converged to their host populations. Although the phenotypic plasticity in floral traits might be a rapid response to abiotic factor such as warmer environment, the changes in floral traits were found to be well adapted to pollination environment of the host population. Compared with plants of their original habitats in higher elevation, the transplanted individuals advanced flowering time, shortened flower longevity, reduced floral display size and pollen production, received higher visiting frequency and yielded more seeds. these findings suggested that phenotypic plasticity of floral traits might help plants adjust their resource allocation strategy between preand post-pollination stages in response to harsh or temperate conditions, which might correspondingly meet a pollinator-poor or hyphen rich *** would be beneficial for the widely-distributed species to adapt to various environmental changes.
