BACKGROUND Vaccine hesitancy is a major challenge in the fight against the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)*** the sociodemographic factors associated with vaccine acceptance among Nigerians is crucial for improving vaccine *** to assess the acceptance rate of COVID-19 vaccine and its related determinants among *** An online cross-sectional survey(observational study)was conducted between February 2021 and May 2021,using a questionnaire hosted on *** invitation to take part in the poll was sent out to participants through social networking platforms.A logistic regression was used to determine which sociodemographic factors were associated with vaccine acceptance *** A total of 1800 persons responded to the survey,a larger proportion of whom were males(53.9%)and within the age group of 21-30 years(29.4%)and earned an average income of less than$500 per month(43.3%).Only 0.56%of participants had a high perceived risk of COVID-19 infection,while only 1.11%had a perceived risk of dying from *** perception rate of the COVID-19 vaccine among participants was 51.1%,while the acceptance rate was 63.9%.there was no significant association between the COVID-19 vaccine acceptance rate and related determinants assessed,particularly age(χ²=3.049,P=0.550),sex(χ²=0.102,P=0.749),average income(χ²=3.802,P=0.875),and religion(χ²=2.819,P=0.420).Participants with chronic conditions demonstrated a higher acceptance rate compared to the general *** Despite the positive perception observed and substantial vaccine acceptance rate among the study participants,more public health interventions are still needed to enhance vaccine acceptability in Nigeria.

the biocompatibility, durability, and strength, among others are some properties that render silk fibers of several uses such as bio medical （like sutures）, pharmaceutical and protective applications. Hence, for such applications silk maybe reproduced into film, gel powder, and most recently, nanofibers. Bombyx mori is the most common specie of silkworms, yielding fibers of triangular-shaped cross-section with diameter10-20μm. the regeneration process is aimed at giving fibroin with similar structure but with better properties relevant to intended applications. Among others, the degradation of fibroin, and loss of secondary structural conformation during regeneration was a hypothesized shortcoming. the first objective of this research was to successfully dissolve B. mori silk fibers and then reclaim it into gel and film forms. the second task was to dissolve the regenerated films and consequently electrospin into nano fibers. Structural studies on the morphology and the secondary crystallinity were the final rationale for the study, to assess the structural conformational changes from the original fibers. two different solvents were used as a control measure to study consistency. the silk fibers were dissolved and regenerated successfully using aqueous LiBr and a ternary system of CaCl2:Water:MethanoL Electro spinning was done in formic acid, and the morphology of the resulting fibers was assessed by scanning electron microscopy （SEM）. the crystalline secondary structure of regenerated Bombyx mori fibroin （films and nanofibers） was evaluated using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy （FtIR） and Wide angle x-ray diffraction （WAXD）. Results showed that untreated regenerated fibroin in film and nanofibers is generally amorphous. It was also established that the regeneration process has a remarkable effect on the molecular weight and crystallinity of fibroin.

Donald trump’s trade war with China does not make economic sense,but he does not face much domestic opposition to this trade ***,it is a part of a broader strategy of the nationalistic Americans’attempt to suppress the rise of *** China give in to the requests of the US under the threat of the escalation of the trade war?In what way?My conjecture is that China is willing to compromise up to a *** China is likely to do is to promise to buy more goods and services from the US,allow greater market access for American firms,reduce Chinese subsidies to its industries,reduce forced technology transfers by American firms,strengthen enforcement of intellectual property rights protection and make verification all these commitments more *** the US might stop escalating the trade war,it is likely that the tariffs already imposed on Chinese goods would not be removed *** response to that,China also would not remove most of those tariffs already imposed on imports from the US,in keeping with the spirit of the tit-for-tat *** is possible that a temporary ceasefire is agreed,but the trade war can last for a long *** final assembly stage of many industries might leave China,but not necessarily the whole production *** Kong can be a victim of the trade war if it escalates.

Study of engine performance, emission and combustion characteristics fueled with diesel-like fuel produced from waste engine oil and waste plastics

Utilizing oil extracted from waste engine oil and waste plastics, by pyrolysis, as a filel for internal combustion engines has been demonstrated to be one of the best available waste management methods. Separate blends of fuel from waste engine oil and waste plastic oil was prepared by mixing with diesel and experimental investigation is conducted to study engine performance, combustion and exhaust emissions. It is observed that carbon monoxide （CO） emission increases by 50% for 50% waste plastic oil （50WPO：50D） and by 58% for 50% waste engine oil （50WEO：50D） at full load as compared to diesel. Unburnt hydrocarbon （HC） emission increases by 16% for 50WPO：50D and by 32% for 50WEO：50D as compared to diesel at maximum load. Smoke is fotmd to decrease at all loading conditions for 50WPO：50D operation, but it is comparatively higher for 50WEO：50D operation. 50WPO：50D operation shows higher brake thermal efficiency for all loads as compared to 50WEO：50D and diesel fuel operation. Exhaust gas temperature is higher at all loads tbr 50WPO：50D and 50WEO：50D as compared to diesel fuel operation.

MNISt Handwritten Digit Classification Based on Convolutional Neural Network with Hyperparameter Optimization

Accurate handwriting recognition has been a challenging computer vision problem,because static feature analysis of the text pictures is often inade-quate to account for high variance in handwriting styles across people and poor image quality of the handwritten ***,by introducing machine learning,especially convolutional neural networks(CNNs),the recognition accuracy of various handwriting patterns is steadily *** this paper,a deep CNN model is developed to further improve the recognition rate of the MNISt hand-written digit dataset with a fast-converging rate in *** proposed model comes with a multi-layer deep arrange structure,including 3 convolution and acti-vation layers for feature extraction and 2 fully connected layers(i.e.,dense layers)for *** model’s hyperparameters,such as the batch sizes,kernel sizes,batch normalization,activation function,and learning rate are optimized to enhance the recognition *** average classification accuracy of the proposed methodology is found to reach 99.82%on the training dataset and 99.40%on the testing dataset,making it a nearly error-free system for MNISt recognition.

tropical mountain ranges shape the structure of tree communities and promote highly diverse natural ***“Bosque Protector Chong on-Colonche”(BPCC),an 86,000-ha mountain formation situated on the coast of Ecuador,is biogeographically important for the region by connecting floristic elements of the wet Choco and the dry tumbesian *** understanding of the factors that model tree and palm diversity and distribution in this mountain range are *** measured and identified all trees and palms(DBH≥10 cm)in 289 plots of0.2 ha,distributed throughout *** used generalized linear models to explain the relationship between forest diversity and structure and climatic variables(temperature,rain,aridity),and *** then used cluster and non-metric multidimensional scale(NMDS)analyses to search for distinct forest communities within the *** partition(varpart)was used to determine which predictor variables best explained these distinct forest communities.A species indicator analysis identified the species most likely to define these distinct forest ***,we carried out a niche modeling approach to identify the potential distribution of these forest communities within *** total,we identified 220 tree and palm species in our *** average number of species per plot was 17.8±5.8,ranging from 3 to 40 *** methods sorted the 289study plots into six different forest communities,three communities in the dry forest and three in the semi-humid Garúa *** and temperature,but not altitude or aridity,explained floristic *** results emphasize the high but little cataloged diversity in the lowland mountain rainforests of coastal Ecuador.
