We present combined photometric and spectroscopic analyses of the southern binary star PU ***-resolution spectra of this system were taken at the University of Canterbury *** Observatory in the years 2008 and again in *** find the light contribution of the secondary component to be only 2%of the total light of the system in optical wavelengths,resulting in a single-lined spectroscopic *** tESS data revealed grazing eclipses within the light minima,though the tidal distortion,examined also from hipparcos data,remains the predominating light curve *** model shows PU Pup to have the more massive primary relatively close to filling its Roche *** Pup is thus approaching the rare‘fast phase’of interactive(Case B)*** adopted absolute parameters are as follows:M_(1)=4.10(±0.20)M_(⊙),M_(2)=0.65(±0.05)M_(⊙),R_(1)=6.60(±0.30)R_(⊙),R_(2)=0.90(±0.10)R_(⊙);t_(1)=11500(±500)K,t_(2)=5000(±350)K;photometric distance=186(±20)pc,age=170(±20)*** less-massive secondary component is found to be significantly oversized and overluminous compared to standard main sequence *** discuss this discrepancy referring to heating from the reflection effect.

目的:A型肉毒杆菌毒素(Botox)联合眼睑手术治疗面肌痉挛(hFS)疗效观察。方法:回顾性分析患者的影像和医疗记录,并对注射Botox的患者治疗效果和并发症进行分析。结果:共纳入76例(女性58例)hFS患者至少接受4次Botox注射。平均随访时间为83±50(20~112)mo,平均注射16±10(4~34)次。发病高峰年龄为55~64a,平均发病年龄为66±11(32~85)a。多达23%的面肌痉挛患者存在与面神经关系密切的异常血管结构(右侧8例,左侧7例)(MRI=14,Ct=1),其中以椎动脉累及最多(n=6),其次是小脑前下动脉(n=5)。原发性hFS患者的有效期间较继发性hFS患者短(2.5 vs 3.1mo,PhFS患者长(4.1 vs 3.8d,P=0.739),SSAs较继发性hFS患者低(1.7 vs 1.9,P=0.179)。19例先前存在眼睑疾病的患者中有12例接受了手术矫正,包括上睑成形术(n=12)、肌肉切除(7例)、眉成形术(7例)和提上睑肌腱膜修复术(5例)。5例(41.7%)接受手术矫正和对肉毒杆菌素反应不佳的患者术后6mo症状改善(发病时间:P=0.0256,有效期间:P=0.374,SSAs:P=0.0161)。12例行眼睑手术患者术后并发症发生率低于未行眼睑手术患者(23%vs 42%,P≤0.05)。结论:Botox对于治疗hFS是一种安全有效的方法。继发性hFS患者使用肉毒杆菌毒素的治疗效果优于原发性hFS患者。对于并发眼睑疾病的患者而言,眼睑手术可提高患者满意度,降低并发症发生率,从而提高后续Botox注射的效果。

the biocompatibility, durability, and strength, among others are some properties that render silk fibers of several uses such as bio medical （like sutures）, pharmaceutical and protective applications. hence, for such applications silk maybe reproduced into film, gel powder, and most recently, nanofibers. Bombyx mori is the most common specie of silkworms, yielding fibers of triangular-shaped cross-section with diameter10-20μm. the regeneration process is aimed at giving fibroin with similar structure but with better properties relevant to intended applications. Among others, the degradation of fibroin, and loss of secondary structural conformation during regeneration was a hypothesized shortcoming. the first objective of this research was to successfully dissolve B. mori silk fibers and then reclaim it into gel and film forms. the second task was to dissolve the regenerated films and consequently electrospin into nano fibers. Structural studies on the morphology and the secondary crystallinity were the final rationale for the study, to assess the structural conformational changes from the original fibers. two different solvents were used as a control measure to study consistency. the silk fibers were dissolved and regenerated successfully using aqueous LiBr and a ternary system of CaCl2:Water:MethanoL Electro spinning was done in formic acid, and the morphology of the resulting fibers was assessed by scanning electron microscopy （SEM）. the crystalline secondary structure of regenerated Bombyx mori fibroin （films and nanofibers） was evaluated using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy （FtIR） and Wide angle x-ray diffraction （WAXD）. Results showed that untreated regenerated fibroin in film and nanofibers is generally amorphous. It was also established that the regeneration process has a remarkable effect on the molecular weight and crystallinity of fibroin.

Utilizing oil extracted from waste engine oil and waste plastics, by pyrolysis, as a filel for internal combustion engines has been demonstrated to be one of the best available waste management methods. Separate blends of fuel from waste engine oil and waste plastic oil was prepared by mixing with diesel and experimental investigation is conducted to study engine performance, combustion and exhaust emissions. It is observed that carbon monoxide （CO） emission increases by 50% for 50% waste plastic oil （50WPO：50D） and by 58% for 50% waste engine oil （50WEO：50D） at full load as compared to diesel. Unburnt hydrocarbon （hC） emission increases by 16% for 50WPO：50D and by 32% for 50WEO：50D as compared to diesel at maximum load. Smoke is fotmd to decrease at all loading conditions for 50WPO：50D operation, but it is comparatively higher for 50WEO：50D operation. 50WPO：50D operation shows higher brake thermal efficiency for all loads as compared to 50WEO：50D and diesel fuel operation. Exhaust gas temperature is higher at all loads tbr 50WPO：50D and 50WEO：50D as compared to diesel fuel operation.

Accurate handwriting recognition has been a challenging computer vision problem,because static feature analysis of the text pictures is often inade-quate to account for high variance in handwriting styles across people and poor image quality of the handwritten ***,by introducing machine learning,especially convolutional neural networks(CNNs),the recognition accuracy of various handwriting patterns is steadily *** this paper,a deep CNN model is developed to further improve the recognition rate of the MNISt hand-written digit dataset with a fast-converging rate in *** proposed model comes with a multi-layer deep arrange structure,including 3 convolution and acti-vation layers for feature extraction and 2 fully connected layers(i.e.,dense layers)for *** model’s hyperparameters,such as the batch sizes,kernel sizes,batch normalization,activation function,and learning rate are optimized to enhance the recognition *** average classification accuracy of the proposed methodology is found to reach 99.82%on the training dataset and 99.40%on the testing dataset,making it a nearly error-free system for MNISt recognition.
