introduction Tubular Apocrine Adenoma (TAA) is a rare benign adnexal neoplasm with apocrine differentiation,which is now considered as a part of the spectrum of tubular *** with TAA usually presents as a asymptomatic,solitary,slow-growing cutaneous nodule or a pedunculated *** has a predilection for the scalp,occasionally on the face,axilla,and anogenital ***,we reported a case of TAA appearing on the left upper eyelid of a 23-year-old Chinese man,and further analyzed retrospectively the features of facial TAA cases proviously reported in the world.

Lenses are crucial to light-enabled *** lenses have been perfected to achieve near-diffraction-limited resolution and minimal chromatic ***,such lenses are bulky and cannot focus light into a hotspot smaller than a half-wavelength of *** filters,initially suggested by Toraldo di Francia,can overcome the resolution constraints of conventional lenses but are not intrinsically chromatically *** we report single-element planar lenses that not only deliver sub-wavelength focusing,thus beating the diffraction limit of conventional refractive lenses,but also focus light of different colors into the same *** the principle of super-oscillations,we designed and fabricated a range of binary dielectric and metallic lenses for visible and infrared parts of the spectrum that are manufactured on silicon wafers,silica substrates and optical fiber *** low-cost,compact lenses could be useful in mobile devices,data storage,surveillance,robotics,space applications,imaging,manufacturing with light and spatially resolved nonlinear microscopies.

Evanescent light can be localized at the nanoscale by resonant absorption in a plasmonic nanoparticle or taper or by transmission through a ***,a conventional lens cannot focus free-space light beyond half of the wavelength λ.Nevertheless,precisely tailored interference of multiple waves can form a hotspot in free space of an arbitrarily small size,which is known as ***,we report a new type of integrated metasurface interferometry that allows for the first time mapping of fields with a deep subwavelength resolution ~λ/*** findings reveal that an electromagnetic field near the superoscillatory hotspot has many features similar to those found near resonant plasmonic nanoparticles or nanoholes:the hotspots are surrounded by nanoscale phase singularities and zones where the phase of the superoscillatory field changes more than tenfold faster than a freepropagating plane *** with high local wavevectors are pinned to phase vortices and zones of energy backflow(~λ/20 in size)that contribute to tightening of the main focal spot size beyond the Abbe-Rayleigh *** observations reveal some analogy between plasmonic nanofocusing of evanescent waves and superoscillatory nanofocusing of free-space waves and prove the fundamental link between superoscillations and superfocusing,offering new opportunities for nanoscale metrology and imaging.

Primary and metastatic liver cancer is an increasingly common and difficult to control disease *** offers a non-invasive treatment alternative for these patients who often have few options and a poor ***,the anatomy and aggressiveness of liver cancer poses significant challenges such as accurate localization at simulation and treatment,management of motion and appropriate selection of dose *** article aims to review the options available and provide information for the practical implementation and/or improvement of liver cancer radiation programs within the context of stereotactic body radiotherapy and image-guided radiotherapy *** patient inclusion and exclusion criteria are presented given the significant toxicity found in certain sub-populations treated with ***,certain sub-populations,such as those with tumor thrombosis or those with larger lesions treated with transarterial chemoembolization,have been shown to have significant improvements in outcome with the addition of radiation and merit special *** a liver radiation programrequires three primary challenges to be addressed:(1) immobilization and motion management;(2) localization;and(3) dose regimen and constraint *** to deal with motion include simple internal target volume(iTV) expansions,non-gated iTV reduction strategies,breath hold methods,and surrogate marker methods to enable gating or *** of the tumor and organs-at-risk are addressed using contrast infusion techniques to take advantage of different normal liver and cancer vascular anatomy,imaging modalities,and margin ***,a dose response has been demonstrated and dose regimens appear to be converging.A more uniform approach to treatment in terms of technique,dose selection and patient selection will allow us to study liver radiation in larger and,hopefully,multicenter randomized studies.

Vision,microscopy,imaging,optical data projection and storage all depend on focusing of *** focusing is conventionally achieved with mechanically reconfigurable lenses,spatial light modulators or *** we demonstrate that dynamic control of focusing can be achieved through coherent interaction of optical waves on a thin beam *** use a nanostructured plasmonic metasurface of subwavelength thickness as the beam splitter,allowing operation in the regimes of coherent absorption and coherent *** of light resulting from illumination of the plasmonic metasurface with a Fresnel zone pattern is controlled by another patterned beam projected on the same *** altering the control pattern,its phase,or its intensity,we switch the lens function on and off,and alter the focal spot’s depth,diameter and *** occurs as fast as the control beam is modulated and therefore tens of gigahertz modulation bandwidth is possible with electro-optical modulators,which is orders of magnitude faster than conventional dynamic focusing technologies.

Environmentally benign carbon dioxide offers significant potential in its supercritical fluid phase to replace current reliance on a range of hazardous, relatively expensive and environmentally damaging organic solvents that are used on an extensive global basis. The unique combination of the physical properties of supercritical fluids are being exploited and further researched to continue the development and establishment of high efficiency, compact plant to provide energy and water efficient manufacturing processes. This mini-review is focused on the use and potential applications of supercritical fluid carbon dioxide for a selected range of key and emerging industrial processes as a sustainable alternative to totally eliminate or greatly reduce the requirement of numerous conventional organic solvents. Examples of the industries include： chemical extraction and purification, synthetic chemical reactions including polymerization and inorganic catalytic processes. Biochemical reactions involving enzymes, particle size engineering, textile dyeing and advanced material manufacture provide further illustrations of vital industrial activities where supercritical fluid technology processes are being implemented or developed. Some aspects relating to the economics of sustainable supercritical fluid carbon dioxide processes are also considered.

Objective:To evaluate the antiasthmatic and antitussive properties of the aqueous leaf extract of Bryophyilum pinnatum {***)(BP) ***:Ovalbiunin-sensilized guinea pigs which were treated with BP for 21 consecutive days were exposed to 0.2%histamine aerosol in a glass *** viscosity,white blood cell and lymphocyte counts and tracheal wall morphometry were *** of cough were counted pre and post acute exposure of extract-treated(X7 d) guinea pigs to 7.5%citric acid aerosol in a *** red expectoration was estimated in mice after 7 d of daily administration of ***:Doses of 200 and 400 mg/kg/day(×21 d) BP significantly increased the time for guinea pigs to experience preconvulsive *** and salbutamol(0.5 mg/kg/day×21 d) reduced mucus viscosity in the sensitized group to values comparable with *** blood cell,lymphocyte counts and tracheal morphometry were not significantly *** doses of BP also significantly reduced the bouts of cough but only 400 mg/kg/day significantly inhibited the amount of phenol red ***:BP has demonstrated antiasthmatic and antitussive properties in these rodent *** properties may underscore its use in Nigerian ethnomedicine.

The ability to control the wavefront of light is fundamental to focusing and redistribution of light,enabling many applications from imaging to *** interaction on highly nonlinear photorefractive materials is essentially the only established technology allowing the dynamic control of the wavefront of a light beam with another beam of light,but it is slow and requires large optical *** we report a proof-of-principle demonstration of a new technology for two-dimensional(2D)control of light with light based on the coherent interaction of optical beams on highly absorbing plasmonic *** illustrate this by performing 2D all-optical logical operations(AND,XOR and OR)and image *** approach offers diffractionlimited resolution,potentially at arbitrarily-low intensity levels and with 100 THz bandwidth,thus promising new applications in space-division multiplexing,adaptive optics,image correction,processing and recognition,2D binary optical data processing and reconfigurable optical devices.
